I don't know if they will fix this tomorrow or not, but there are 2 stores that I went to that the Post Cereals actually ring up 1.57 each and then every 2 I bought took off the 1.10, so my first transaction was 3.12 for 6 cereals with 3 of the $1/2 coupons, and I couldn't use my $5 cat from buying the Honey comb last week, so I used my last $2 cl cat and paid $1.12 and got back the $5.. I went to another store and they rang up correctly at 2.12 each. Next store it worked again ringing up at 1.57 so I asked if there was a limit on how many I could get. The cashier and assistant manager said no limit, so I went back and did 2 more transactions with 10 cereals in each transaction.
10x1.57=15.70
5x1.10 =-5.50
5x$1/2 = -5.00
$5 cat =-5.00

EDIT: Well, I went yesterday and discovered that my store doesn't carry the Trail Mix Crunch! All of the ones I purchased rang up at $2.12. The Cat didn't print because the machine wasn't working for my cashier! But, the manager gave me $5 to compensate for the cat. I'll just know not to stand in line at that register when I go back. Oh, and I also noticed that the sale was marked down to $1.50 on specific cereals, of course the ones I don't really like.

Are the cereals $1.57 if you buy single or do you have to buy in multiples of 2 for the $1.57 price?

Is it best to buy 5 or 6 or does it matter as long as you have enough coupons to cover?

The cereals are $1.57 to start, and then the register will take oof another $1.10 for every two boxes.
For example, if you buy 2, it will cost your $1.57X2 =$3.14 Minus $1.10 for the two boxes= $2.04, minus $1.00 off MQ for the 2 boxes=$1.04.

I like to buy 6 because the total is much better. At the end you pay less than 35 cents for the 6 boxes because you paid with a $5.00 voucher from the previous order. In return, you will get another $5.00 voucher for the next cereal order.

Most stores are ringing the Post cereals up at $2.12/box and taking an additional advertised $1.10 off of every 2 boxes purchased. If you are lucky enough to find some of the stores that are charging $1.57/box instead of the $2.12/box, then that is where the overage is coming in. One of my stores is charging the $2.12 while the another store is charging $1.57. For obvious reasons, the store that is charging $1.57/box and giving the overage is wiped almost clean from Post cereals, specifically the Post Trail Mix Crunch that we have $2/1 IPs for as well as $1/1 (SS 04-05) insert coupons for. Your final OOP less standard $1/2 Mfc coupons and the $5 OYNO at the regular store charging $2.12 = $1.42. Your final OOP at the stores charging $1.57 after Mfc coupons would be $3.12 before the $5 OYNO catalina is rolled. Thus overage and the need for fillers if you want to roll your $5 catalina into the same order. HTH. :biggrin:

ALL Post Cereals are part of the original Post Cereals Catalina deal that is running until 4/19/09. Only specially tagged Post cereals worked for both the weekly Albertsons ad that ends tonight and the Catalina promo that will continue until the 19th. Hope this makes sense. :smile77:
