They show - 21 oz except for the oat squares, they are 16 oz.
Not a really good ad - no Kellogg's (other than special K - 4/$10) on sale and no Post cereal on sale

Maybe next week will be a GREAT ad week. Here's to hoping. Also, if you have a United Dairy Farmer's, their pints are 4/$6 right now. IMO it is way better than Breyers, and I am willing to pay extra for it.

I am with ya! I think I only have 2 lorel coupons left since I found some on clearance at kmart during doubles. I will just go ahead and get the two bottles, we will use it. The highlight of the ad for me was the mac and cheese.. which .. doesn't make me excited. I guess this will just be a get what we need week, and to use up any coupons for stuff that we use often that expire on the 31. What a depressing ad!! haha

Hi!
I looked over the ad and can't find anything too exciting. The Bar-s franks are on sale for $1.19 and there is a .25/1 q out there somewhere. Not the best deal on hotdogs, but if you need some anyway...
The Dial body wash might be a good deal, not great but good.
I pay $3.97 at Wal-mart for the men's bodywash, so 3 for $10 is better, plus there is a $1/1 ip Dial Body Wash, Any 1 (http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qcejeox43416135&bt=wi&o=55570&c=%20BW&p=O4mRZSPg) and $1/2 insert q.

This might be a dumb question but was the quantity line left blank or did the clerk actually write "No Quantity" in there? I'm wondering because they always seem to ask how many and put a number in. It it's left blank does that mean there are no restrictions on the quantity? Thanks.

Found a large display of Kraft Jet-Puffed Mallow Bites tonight. They are new milk chocolate covered miniature marshmallows. They are priced at $1.25 a bag and had alot of tearpads around the display with .40 off coupons says DND-5. I paid .45 a bag. They are small, 2 servings per bag, but might be nice to throw in an Easter basket. I don't have any idea what they taste like because I can't eat chocolate .

Can somebody please clarify this one for me? Did you use the printable coupon from The Ultimate Grilling Guide--Print a Coupon (http://www.gatherroundthegrill.com/coupon.php?store)=
(a link I got from the HCW website) that is "Save $6 on The Other White Meat" wyb any 13.5 lb or larget charcoal and one of the following brands...ballpark..."?
So you actually had to make sure you got a little over 3 lbs of pork (B/C IT WAS 1.99/lb) along with the ballpark franks and charcoal and actually the $6 was on the pork, not the charcoal? Just want to make sure I understand that one right.:thanks7:

TIA!Your right! The cashier took the $6 q off at the end so as long as it comes off it's a great deal. I was still able to use the $1 q I had for Ballpark franks which are also are on sale. The Pork chops are on sale for 1.99lb and the store had there morning meat mark downs so I got a $8 pack for $5.99.
So I got $8 in pork chops, a pack of hot dogs, and a big bag of charcoal all for $8.

I freeze all of my meats individually (on a cookie sheet) and then place them in baggies in the freezer. That way I can buy larger packs of meat and only use as many pieces as I want.

I have one of those pump vaccum seal things from Glad it was cheap with a coupon. I make portion size for my family when I get home. I also have a lot of cookouts during the summer and have friends and family bring a side dish and we do the meat. So I will do this deal a few more times. It is a good deal if you cookout a lot like we do. I hate cooking in the kitchen in the summer so our grill is always going in the summer.

You could freeze the extras - if you wrap them tight they're small and you can fit them into corners. Also - isn't ham pork - it's not white like plain pork but I'm wondering if this will work when I buy the ham for Easter?

You all have some good ideas. I might try some of them but I hate touching raw meat!!! I know, laugh all you want! It just feels like it gets stuck in my nails and spreads meat germs around. ICK! (thank goodness for the Lysol deals lately!!) I also have to stock up on freezer bags. However, my hardest part is that I have 3 kids (ranging from 12 months --> 6 yrs) and work 4 days a week. So I try to balance a "good deal" with how much I spend in my time, KWIM?
I guess I will be taking a trip to GE this week after all!!! Thanks everybody!

it's great for barbecue time - I can pick out the types of meat they want and just make myself some hot dogs (I even freeze them on a cookie sheet). I sometimes grill 4-5 different types of meat for just a few people.

Ran up today to GE so I could grab some Land o lakes, airheads, and a few other things. Turns out they were out of the spreadable butter - so I asked a employee (looked like a mgr - shirt/tie) and he ran back to check for me. Well, they were out of the one on sale, so he points to the bigger container and asks if that was the one I was looking for. I explained I wanted the smaller one that is on sale - and he says "Well you can have this one."...me thinking he wasn't hearing what I was saying just kinda stared at him for a second LOL Then he finished his sentence I guess "...for the same price"
Woohoo - so he must have been the store manager or something...I have no idea - he got on his walkie and paged the front end manager and let her know I was coming up and to adjust the price on them :-) So I got 2 of the 16oz tubs for 15 cents each :-) "note to self...self - look for this guy next time they're out of something on sale LOL"
***New tearpad - on the Oreo display - "Save $1.50 wyb any 1 package of Nabisco Oreo Cookies OR Fun Sticks OR Cakesters (5oz or larger) AND 1 Gallon of Milk" Expires 6/30
***New Peelie - on the Arm&Hammer Essentials - "BOGO Instantly wyb 2 different Varieties" on the front, and on the back - "Buy any one A&H Essentials Cleaner, get a different one free, up to $3.50 value" Expires 12/31/09 They're on EPC for 1.99 - so ends up being about 1$ each. I use the degreaser one in my wet jet to do the floors.
OT - And if you shop at Walmart I found peelies on the Scotch tape for $1.00 off any Scotch Cutter - NED
Also at Walmart - Iams Smart Puppy food is 5$ for a 4lb bag (I didnt check the kitty food - sorry). Use the 5$ off any Smart Puppy or Kitty food from the P&G insert (must have been last months? Coupon expires 3/31) to get it FREE! I got 44 pounds of dog food free today :-) I had to split up the transaction though, coz I think they still have to call a CSM if you have more than 40$ in coupons. Thank you for the heads up on the dog food. My fat dogs eat a lot!
LOL My dog isn't a big eater - but I'm not about to pass up free dog food! He's a little over a year old, but I figure puppy food will be fine for him. And he's dumb as an ox - so Smart Puppy food sounds like something he needs :hysterical:
"I use the degreaser one in my wet jet to do the floors."
I need to find out how you do that - I haven't used mine in a while because I can't stand paying for the refills
Ok - here's how ya do it... Take the empty bottle out. Then you need to use something like pliers or vice grips to squeeze the lid while unscrewing it. Fill it up with whatever cleaner you want to use. Make sure that little rubber valve kinda thing on top of the lid is seated in there ok (so it doesnt leak) and just screw it back on like a normal lid.
Of course, now I have to just use the spray bottle and spray the floor as I go along because my 2 year old did something to my wet jet and it doesnt spray anymore. Checked the batteries and DH took it apart trying to figure out what was wrong and he can't figure it out....grrr I'm hoping they go on a really good sale again so I can get another one. I just refuse to pay more than 10$ for it - I can spray the floor myself for anything more than that!
Also - Target sells an O-cell-o washable microfiber mop cloth for about 5$ that works great instead of using the refill pads. It's a little longer than the wet jet head - so I punched 3 holes on both ends and use a shoelace (remember the free kiwi shoe laces? lol) to lace it up tight so it stays on the wet jet. I've washed it tons of times and it still works great!

I checked my coupons and realized a had a bunch of .55/1 LOL Fresh Buttery Spread that I had found on a tearpad awhile back. They are DND5 so if used it would still be .15c.
I have extra that I won't be using and I've listed them on the trading forum if anyone is interested. I can get them out today so you have them in time for the sale.

Totally Off Topic - skip if you're not from the Greensburg Area LOL Did you guys see the Wags has it's sign on?? It says "Open Soon' on one side, and "Now Hiring, Flexible Hours" on the other!
Back on topic - the 55 cent off Butter coupons from LOL's site scan fine for the Spreadable Butter. It doesnt say 'sticks' or anything like that, and I totally missed seeing the 'spreadable butter' coupon yesterday on the site...and used the plain butter one. So you can get 2 each of the 3 coupons from one computer! (Butter, Spreadable Butter, and Buttery Spread)

They had a HUGE display, so the 11 bags I took hardly made a dent LOLBe careful because dry pet food is one of the causes of flour moths.

Storing the pet food just in the original bags is not enough ... it is recommended that you put it into a plastic tub that has an airtight lid.

I scrounged up a lot of those 4 pound Iams' puppy food at Wal*Mart.
I think that the original price is $5.87 since one Wal*Mart had a sale sign and another did not (Brooklyn, OH and Strongville, OH, respectively).
Now ... to find a puppy! (Ma chère soeur [My dear sister] has one).

here's how ya do it...
LOL I think it was my mom's parenting that taught me how to be really thrifty hehe She was raised in a family of 8 kids, my grandparents, my great aunt, my great grandma, a couple boarders (sp? - people that aren't related but 'rent' a bed off of you? Can you imagine doing that nowadays??!!) and some of her older sister's husbands and kids all living in one house! My great grandma instilled the "Waste Not - Want Not" way of thinking in my mom. So it got passed down to me. Although, I'm not anywhere near as bad as my mom...she saves paper towels and tin foil to be reused!!??
hehe MacGyver...nahh just too cheap to have to buy refill pads for a mop LOL

The deal will be even better on Thursday. They will count towards your buy $10, get $3 catalina . So, if you have 11 coupons, you'd pay $3.30 + tax and get $3 off your next order.

(1) $1.00 Clorox Anywhere Spray
(13) $.75 Coffee Filters + (1) Free

I am in Central East Ohio and we get some papers from N.E. as well which I too noticed the change in the coupons. The Canton Repository used to have some very good coupons and now not so much, but still better than the more local papers. There was one local $1 paper that was great for coupons including Red Plum and now well, you know the rest of the story.
I do subscribe to the Sunday Columbus Dispatch and then hope that I am blessed by some leftovers at a local business. If I could not get those I would do as you and others and just order my favorites like in the past. I've had a few nice trades too.

I did it tonight. I bought 2 pillsbury grands and 1 crescent rolls. I used (1) .50/2 coupon for the grands and (1) .35/1 coupon on the crescent rolls. I got a $2.00 off catalina coupon
Crescent rolls were 2.25, grands $1.50 each, so 5.25- 1.70= 3.50 - $2.00 cat coupon from purchase = 1.50 for three.
There are some coupons out for .75/3 starts with a 5. I'm going back tomorrow and doing this:
(3) grands $1.50= $4.50- .75x 2 (1.50)= $3.00 - $2.00 cat= $1.00 for 3 grands
