I tried to get 11 of these this morning and the cashier wouldn't take the coupons. He said the machine wouldn't take them and he couldn't adjust them down

Was that all you was buying...maybe you needed a filler so it can eat up the overage or if that wasn't the case I would have called a manager to see what can be done.

I think you should call the manager. A while back they had the scott TP on the 88 cent sale and I had $1/1 q's. They adjusted them down. I believe you had a misinformed cashier that thought he was informed. He needs to be re-educated.:wink7:

I had other things as well. I was on my way to work so I didn't have time to involve a manager at that time. I'll try over the weekend and see how it goes. This guy is the coupon police too. He's always there in the morning

My cashier adjusted them down to .88 no problem.

I understand if you were in a rush and could not take the time to involve a manager. But if this guy is usually one to give someone a hard time over coupons, in my opinion, if you are using them correctly, you really do need to involve a manager somehow, even it is calling them once you get to work or taking note of his name and stopping in later to address the situation. He may really just be uninformed, or he might be a couponer BULLY. Either way, he needs to be corrected.
