So does anyone wonder...with all the free/overage air fresheners that we get / give away / donate. Do people actually pay to buy these items and how does the company ever swing a profit :giggle2: heck its not like I even buy the refills...I just keep getting new kits for free.

Haha - I wonder the same thing. I can't imagine paying $4.99 for one glade plug-in, let alone $12.99 for the freshmatic thingies when we can get them for free!

It alway makes me nuts when I see people buying airfreshners. If I see they don't have a coupon I will give them a coupon for airfreshner.I have anough air freshner for 4-5 yrs.ALL FREE.There are so many places that have airfreshner for free with coupons,it is stupid to pay for it.I don't purchase airfreshner refills unless there FREE.

A friend of mind recently got a bunch of air freshners from me. Her daughter had wisp refills on her grocery list and doesnt use coupons. She would have paid full price!!

I admit I use to buy these pre-coupon but now I couldn't ever imagine paying for them along with any products that go in my bathroom :P

I saw on Youtube a video about coupons and it was a news network interviewing some coupon crazy woman (like we are) LOL!!! and they said that about only 1% of coupons are even used so that mean tons of people buy them at full price. We are just the smart ones. I was in shock....they also asked her if the percentage increase would they stop making coupon or make less of them...she said it's the opposite they would actually make more coupons because they know that coupons work then......So I say keep giving coupons to people you don't know just because you feel bad that they are paying full price because eventually they will keep making more and more of them....LOL!!! I thought I had to share it was a great video.

I used to buy them pre-couponing, as did hubby, as did my mother, aunts and uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc. There are a LOT of people who spend the money b/c they don't know any better!

According to this article, about 75% of homes in America use them, and air freshener companies have made huge profits. So, I imagine the vast majority of people are actually paying full price (or at least nowhere near free/mm) for these things. The article also talks about some dangers of air fresheners. Personally, I don't use them. But I'll let stores pay me to take them!

I have a question about the Glade Glass Window Scents. I'll give reps to any and all who can answer my question.
I have 8 of the Glade Glass Window Scents that I bought last fall and I plan to put them in gift baskets but I noticed that most of them have air bubbles and in fact are liquid. I have never opened nor used any of these before and I always thought that it was a gel inside -- not liquid. So I'm wondering if they are supposed to be gels but somehow have liquified during storage.
Please let me know if it supposed to be a liquid inside or a gel inside.
Thank you!

The only time I've ever paid for refills was when I had a few hundred dollars in ECB's that had to be used up. Now I wouldn't be caught dead paying for them. Why not just get the new kits for free instead? Same thing with razors.

LOL- I understand about the razors! I make DH crazy when I bring home more razors-he says why can't you just buy a big pack of refills? Takes up less space...
Well when I can get a razor and 2 refills for free, why on earth would I pay $15 for refills?
Same thing with air fresheners..He made the mistake once of paying like $3 for refills and brings it home like he accomplished something great...He only made that mistake once...LOL

Be careful with these. I had 1 leak on my dresser & it ate the finish off.

I gave these to my son's daycare teachers in a gift basket for Christmas and all 3 had bubbles in them. Last week we were visiting relatives and the ones in their bathroom had bubbles in it. (I'm sure she paid full price for hers...lol)
Good question! I just thought it they were supposed to have bubbles...maybe not?
