No more Ebay gc's at Giant Eagle

I thought I was going blind the last couple days because I couldn't find any ebay gc's and I knew I had bought one there 2 weeks ago.

Tonight, I noticed a little sign above the gc's stating "as of March 13th, we will no longer sell ebay gc's - ebay will honor any gc's purchased prior to that date" (I may not have gotten the wording perfectly).

This stinks!

WHAT!!! I always buy my Ebay giftcards at Giant Eagle!!! I use my Paypal card for cashback, earn fuelperks, and shop through BigCrumbs and then buy my goodies online...uggh! My method was saving us some good $. This stinks, I will have to check my store. Thanks for the post! :wavehi:

that really does stink....my dh buys stuff on there all the time & that wasmy way to save a little more.

fyi....they took them off their website as well.

I was wondering if it was ebay that decided to stop them - that explains the sentence on the sign that ebay would honor any gc's bought before 3/13.

You think they (ebay) would have announced it first.

I know - it really does stink!!! I just bought our Universal Studios tickets off of ebay. It was a $240 purchase. I lost out of $30 worth of Fuelperks :sad: I am really disappointed about this because it really was one of my favorite gc's to buy there. At least I got 3% of my purchase back thru Sunshine Rewards. Took the sting away - a little bit.
