Receive $25 Free Groceries, (when you transfer your prescription to kroger we'll credit $25 to your kroger plus card. ask your pharmacist for details. limit (1) one per household. not valid with transfer from another kroger store or kroger owned pharmacy. not valid with any other offer. not valid for items or services paid for in whole or part by medicare, medicaid or any other federal health care program. offer expires march 31.)

I just wanted to point out (since this is the Delta region) that AR is one of the states these type prescription offers are excluded in.

And BTW, in case anyone cares LOL, the Lean Cuisine garlic chicken pizza is YUM. I add some baby spinach and just a wee bit more shredded cheese on top of that before I heat it up, but the flavor is really, really good.

Thanks danas_mom! I didn't know that about AR- good info for our members. We will also welcome product reviews! I tend to like Lean Cuisine better than most of those boxed dinners (healthy ones anyway- I don't think you can compare them to Totino's!).

My kids will be excited to get another week's worth of grapes. I love it when they go down to .99 and usually buy a lot. I like to throw them in the freezer if I am afraid they have been in the fridge too long- they are yummy frozen (although I wouldn't give them to little kids that way).

My husband won't eat roast (and I have never been a fan) but I found a recipe to make taquitos after cooking the roast in the crockpot with Mexican spices and thought maybe we should branch out a little. I am assuming this is a good price since it took top billing in the ad. Am I right to try and grab one at this price?

I just realized that what I downloaded of the ad didn't clarify the mega sale so just in case we have a newbie reading, the items typed in blue and listed in the OP are part of a special sale. Buy any ten of these items (can mix and match) and $5 will be deducted from your total purchase. The prices highlighted in the ad are assuming you buy things in increments of ten so make sure to check the bottom of your receipt before you leave to make sure it deducted from your total. It shoud be easy to get it fixed before you leave the store if you take a minute to double check.

Less than $2/lb for a beef roast is a good price IMO! I'm going to see if we have room in the freezer for a couple myself. We loooove roast here, and hubby has a really good recipe for corned beef too, for something different (though he more often than not makes it out of venison roast instead).

I didn't see it listed anywhere on this board, but the quaker quakes are $.99 and part of the mega sale, which makes them $.49. Plus there's a q from 1/18/09 RP for $1 (or $1.25 in the Orlando paper -- where I moved from)

Sorry to be a bother, but I have another newbie question...I just printed up the IP for $0.40/1 Betty Crocker Potatoes. At the top of the coupon it says, "Do Not Double or Triple." The UPC on the coupon begins with a "5". Should I expect the register to automatically double this IP, or will it really only save me $0.40/1? Thanks!

Newbie here in the Memphis area!

Pedspeech, thanks for this information and all the details on the printables/where to locate my other coupons. Thanks to your information, I got 4 $0.20 boxes of Betty Crocker Potatoes, 2 jugs of Purex for $1.79 (I think), 3 pkgs $1 OB Tampons (my faves), $0.50 carefree liners, 2 free tubes of Colgate, a free deodorant and a free toothbrush, plus a load full of way discounted Lean Cuisine meals and granola bars. These are all brands & things we use on a daily basis, so that made it even more of a score!

Also, thanks for clarification on the doubling. I was wondering about that, too, but it worked for me today on the potatoes (I had the same .40 off do not double coupons and they doubled just fine) :)

Just wait until my husband sees my loot!!! I'm sort of on a high... I think this is going to be FUN! :D

I'm almost positive it is... I stopped and looked at the selection even though salad dressing is one of the few things I went overboard on and now probably never need to buy again... :giggle2: Now if only my store carried the buffalo chicken marinade, I like that one and I could justify getting those... (I can't say if *those* are part of the deal since my store doesn't carry them...:rolleyes24:)

I did my MegaSale shopping today and did pretty good. I was able to get:
2 Powerade drinks, a Purex liquid detergent, 2 Betty Crocker boxed potatoes, 3 Nature's Valley granola bars, 7 Fiber One bars, 2 spaghetti, 1 Totino's pizza rolls, 3 Freschetta pizzas, 1 Toaster Strudel, 3 Armour meatballs, 2 Quaker Quakes, 1 Cheerios snack mix, and 2 Chex mix. I also added two clearance 8.2oz. Crest toothpastes and two McCormick enchilada mixes that we needed for supper tomorrow night.

For all of this, I paid a whopping $19.66!! That's a 84% savings!! Yay for sales and coupons! Thanks for posting the coupon match-ups..they were a great help.

Yes, the Quakes were included. I purchased the small bag for $0.99 - $0.50 promo - $1 coupon = $0.51 overage. I've never tried these before, but I'll give them a shot since I got paid to take them!

Be aware, the Quakes $1 coupon beeps. My cashier today adjusted it down to .99 since that is how it rings up.

And yes, the Ken's dressing is included! Too bad I wasn't able to complete a trade for Ken's coupons until this morning, I doubt they'll have time to get here.

I was also surprised to see Wesson canola oil (I think it was Wesson brand...) included for $2.49 after Mega savings. (It may be on the list and I just missed it.) I grabbed a couple of bottles.

Good shopping day here. :)

Thanks for pointing out the Wesson oil. I didn't pay any attention to it since I didn't have any coupon match-ups for it. Now that I look though, it is a really good deal. I typically buy my canola oil from Aldi for $2.79 for 48 fl. oz. So, $2.49 for the same amount is a good deal. Thanks and reps for you!

Since I am in south MS, I don't know if they carry them at your store but I did want to point out that the last time fruit snacks were on sale the Stickerz cost a lot more than the other varieties. They still counted toward the item number to generate the catalina but weren't marked down, so just be aware of the price when/if you pick them up.

I did my shopping on Thursday so I don't remember what all I got, but I DO remember saving over $100 with my coupons! I watched that total go from $127+ to $23 and I got a buggy packed FULL of stuff we use everyday! Awesome shopping trip and thanks to everyone here for all their helpful posts!! I do know we have a mountain of cereal, poptarts and granola bars that will last 3 teenagers and all their friends at least a month :) I was hoping for about 6 months, but we all know how teenagers eat. I did my big trip on Saturday, and my cashier even congratulated me. LOL I spent $205 and paid $90. Still a lot OOP for some people, but that is a great week for us! We used to spend over $100 a week and get much, much less stuff before I started couponing!

Hubby was impressed and was wishing I had more coupons!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one w/ this issue. Do you ever HIDE the extra food in various places around in the house in hopes that if they don't know you HAVE more, they'll be less inclined to DEVOUR what is in plain view as quickly?

It just doesn't seem right that I'm bringing home extra food and expecting a carry over from one week to the next and they think it's simply a license to eat MORE.

I don't have teenagers yet, but I have this problem with my husband and my four-year-old. :giggle2:

I was at my local Kroger today and saw the Crystal Light drink mixes are part of the Mega Sale. They are tagged at $2.99, so $2.49 when you buy 10 event items. There are $1 IP's - you can check the database to see if they are still available.

Hey when I was at the store last week I noticed some of the Snyder's pretzels participating, anybody know if the pretzel sandwiches are included, and if so what price? I didn't pay that much attention to them because I didn't have any coupons clipped, but I've found the $1/1 pretzel sandwiches since then.

I remember this too, so I checked on the price of the Stickerz fruit snacks today and they are part of the Mega Event and were marked $1.99, same as the rest of the BC fruit snacks.

Yes! I do know what you mean! And yes, I do "hide" food from them. If I didn't, they'd wipe it out in a week! Just as an example, my daughter's friend that came over this past weekend ate an entire box of poptarts by herself in ONE afternoon. I have absolutely no problem feeding anyone who is really hungry, but come on... at least she ate the sugary ones lol. I know kids are going to eat whats there, so I stocked up on the granola bars, whole grain poptarts, cheerios snack mix and chex mix this month with the coupons. I also used the Kellogg's coupons to get the choclate and honey nut mini wheats because they'll sit down and eat those dry right out of the box as a snack. So at least they'll be eating healthier snacks than Little Debbie cakes or something really sugary like that.

I've got boxes of stuff stashed all over the house, the cubbards in the laundry room are full and I've got cases of veggies and peanut butter under my bed. Could have more stuff under there as I haven't looked in several months lol.
