Don't forget about the $1 Easy Saver Rebate in this month's Walgreens catalog. I don't see them in next week's ad, but I'm crossing my fingers for the week of 3/22. Hopefully we can get a sweet deal with a sale, q and mir!

Inserts vary by region, GREATLY vary by region unfortunately. In my area we don't get some of the better cpns, :rolleyes24: but north of us in Columbus, OH, they get tons more in their inserts.

Thanks for posting. Looks like a great week!!

Would like to see some Puffs and Pepto-Bismol coupons from P&G. I'm out.

Dove coupons will go great with WAGS sale this coming week. Also, Walmart had the Dove Bar Soap 6 pack for $5.25 but this price may have only been good thru 3/7. Check price at scanner before checking out. Reg. price is $6.50. I'm guessing that Target will have Dove on sale next week as well. Can't say for sure because next week's ad hasn't been posted yet.

I agree on the P&G. They have been cutting back lately on the Qs, especially Puffs and Pepto-Bismol.

The value on them has gone down too. What used to be $1 is now 50 cents and 50 cents is now 30 or 25. So sad :rabbit2:

Has anyone used their online coupons that you load onto your store shopping card, e.g. Randalls, etc.?? The value of those online coupons seems to be higher than the ones in the inserts. We rarely shop at Randalls because there's not one in our town and their prices are sky high. But, I loaded the coupons onto my shopping card anyway. If you buy the product for which there's a coupon, supposedly it is automatically deducted from your bill, I think.

I use them all the time. It is automatically deducted and you can use a MQ on the same item as well. Kroger had Olay Ribbons on clearance (in NC, 3 weeks ago) for $2.99. I got it fo $0.99 after MQ and ePG coupon.

I don't shop walgreens but right next to the listerine coupons is an ad for walgreens, it says Listerine and reach products for $9 for 3, and get $6 Register rewards, so basically free after coupon, too bad you can't roll at walgreens, that would be killer!!!

I'm very disappointed about the Dove  I have a relative who delivers this paper and saves inserts for me ... I'm not sure it's worth the drive unless the SS is in there and mine just got shorted. Sometimes w/this paper I get 3 or 4 sets, sometimes none.

This isn't the big monthly P&G though is it? I noticed last month we got P&G inserts twice. I wonder if that will be the same this month. Isn't the big one usually the first Sunday of the month? Actually I think it was the last Sunday last month. Maybe they are changing how they do things. :shrug7:

The big PG insert is usually in the first paper of the month. Sometimes you will see it at the end of a month depending on how Sunday falls. They sometimes put them out in the middle of the month, and they are usually small ones.

I always thought NJ & NY were on the same coupon schedule.

But NY did not get the free Wrigley's coupon 2 weeks ago as you stated NJ did. NY just got that coupon yesterday, Sunday 3/15.

As for the free Marcal coupon, NY got that last week, Sunday 3/08, same as NJ.

Btw, the coupon is for a max. value of $1.19, and the Wrigley slimpack contains 15 sticks of gum.

FYI for anybody in the NY area, the Wrigley slimpacks are $1.49 at Duane Reade and $1.29 at Walgreens. Not sure how much they cost at Rite-Aid. So, still looking for a NY area store where they cost $1.19 or less.

More actually, $1.61, if you factor in the .12 tax on 1.49. LOL.

No food tax here...except carbonated beverage tax. Fourteen states pay tax on food...

Actually, there's no food tax in NY either. But gum and candy do get taxed, I guess, because they're not really food or essential. I wonder what the fourteen states are that pay tax on food.

In Texas, we have some weird law. If you buy chips or candy or soda, it's taxable if it's a single serving or multiple serving, I'm not sure which. It's one or the other but not both. Heck, if it weren't for the computer registers, I don't know if the merchants would even know. At some stores, when I buy Smartwater, which is NOT flavored, it's taxable. At others, it isn't.

Not to go off thread but in Texas, we have a sales tax holiday in August for most clothing and footwear under $100 per item, as well as backpacks. Obviously, this is to give people a break on buying clothes for the kids to go back to school. The sales tax holiday even includes infant and ADULT diapers. I have no idea what ADULT diapers have to do with back to school. Now, a lot of people are pushing for the sales tax holiday to include "school supplies." Can you imagine what a nightmare that might be for stores?? How in the heck can you program your register to tax one type of pen or pencil and not tax another type of pen or pencil??
