I wish it was less, but I have been eating all "bad" things so I guess it could be worse.

But this morning I did take the double stroller and DS1 and DS2 for a walk to CVS. I don't know how long it is, but we were gone about an hour and my legs were like jello when we got home. :biggrin: I'm planning on going again tomorrow...

I'm back to 180 :( After 3-4 weeks at 177 I gained 3 lbs. GRRRR.

BUT, I will use this as motivation to get my booty moving. I have not been exercising, and I probably have been eating a lot of stuff I shouldn't so time to get back on track!

Everyone please keep an eye on the Personal Challenges Forum. I will be posting an RAOK opportunity in a few minutes.

Definitely headed in the right direction but I really need to focus on exercising regularly - that is the hardest part for me. I can skip the sweets and snacks - but between work and the kids, I have a hard time carving out time just for me.

So I am at 169 this week (1 lb down from last week) - not too bad since my stress level is through the roof (DH lost his job), I am sleep deprived (3 month old) and we had company this weekend. Plus my job has been very stressful lately - not helping things at all.

I went off of my diet this past weekend. I had family come in from out of town - so I splurged.

A good week... I guess cleaning all week has 1 advantage.

Current - 167.4 lbs

Starting Weight - 173 lbs (4/14)

Now if I can only get motivated to get on the treadmill tonight. I guess I can't use our downstairs neighbors as an excuse now that we've moved and the treadmill is over the garage... LOL...

I also went off the diet this week - did not even weigh myself this morning as I was having a bad morning already and did not want the bad news. Denial.

Good news is that I now fit into a size 14 at Ann Taylor loft and can stop wearing my maternity clothes - yeah.

I am getting back on the diet tomorrow (have a work function tonight that will not be low carb!)

I must have been retaining water last week, because I didn't really diet to much this week. My biggest thing is that I have given up about 10 cokes a day. I now limit myself to 2 or 3.

OK...I'm sorry for the rant since my weight was down this week, but I'm REALLY annoyed by my weight this morning. I've been eating healthy and working out really hard - cleaning the house, doing activities with the kids, working in the yard and even joining stroller strides on Friday (my abs are still sore). I was in the 165's for the last 3 days and today 166.8???

I'm just hoping that it's water weight - my mom kept bringing me out ice water yesterday when I was working outside to make sure I didn't get dehydrated. I'm still nursing and the last time I was dehydrated, the baby wasn't a happy camper. I guess I'll know next week. Here's hoping for great weight losses for us all!

I'm on a local mommas board and we are having a Biggest Loser style competition. The BL wins $600+ in Target gift cards. We are doing it by total percentage of weight loss. I started the competition at 160 and I'm down to 148. We started the first day of summer and the contest ends first day of Fall, September 22nd. I'll try to remember to come back here and post my weekly updates. My short term goal was to get back to my WW Lifetime weight of 147, but seeing as I'm a pound away, I need to decide where I really want to be. After having a baby, my body is completely different.

I want to join(but only for 10-15 pounds).......but I know better (about myself) then to have a scale IN my house because then I will weigh myself 10-20-30-50-60 times a day and become obsessed about it, then I get depressed and wont eat for a few days at a time. Which is NOT healthy to do and because I realize this, I CANNOT have a scale in my house. Can I join for at least to be healthy? You all can consider me as "cheer support"

So I am still doing low carb but have added fruit - and am trying to stick to lean meats and seafood. Unfortunately I got way to many Skor bars for free a few weeks ago at CVS - I need to donate them fast.

So 17 more lbs. to go and then I will re-evaluate my goal (I was 140 when I got pregnant - but want to be realistic about what I can accomplish).

Next short term goal is to be at 160 by January 1st
150 by march 1st
and 140 by may 1st which puts me at a rate of about 1-1 1/2 lbs a week to lose....So far so good, and CONGRATS on everyone eleses weight loss!!

Well everyone is made differently. 152 might be better for someone else while its not for you. I have a friend who is 30 weeks pregnant and she weighs what I want to weigh, not being pregnant LOL. She has a tiny frame....oh the luck of some people. Anywhoo, congrats on what you have lost so far.

First of all, I have a problem - I haven't been exercising at all for the past couple of months. :frown: My apartment's exercise room is under construction, I never get home before dark, and my neighborhood isn't the safest so I don't feel comfortable walking at night. I have to get back in gear, though!

I've plateaued at 170ish for about 5 years now, down from my all-time high of 205. I really want to lose my last 20! I just want to look and feel better, and I'm standing in my sister's wedding next September too. I recently took a trip to David's Bridal to try on potential bridesmaid dresses, and that was NOT a pretty picture. In all the pics, my arms are flabby and my tummy is huge. Yuck!

I eat a pretty healthy diet most days - no pop, mostly vegetarian, not a lot of fried foods. I don't diet too strictly - If I'm really craving something, I have a little bit of it so I don't go on a binge. I make sure to get my fixes when I'm out, often at work, so I don't buy food and have it sitting around the house. I've just been indulging a leeeeetle too much lately. :whistle67: The biggest dieting goal right now is to hold it together during the holiday season - I've been getting my annual autumn munchies already, and I need to snap out of it before Thanksgiving and Christmas!

My biggest goal overall is more exercise.

Call me a dork, but since it was rainy and windy last night, I broke out the old Playstation2 and did Dance Dance Revolution on workout mode for 150 calories worth (35 min). I wonder how accurate those calorie meters are.... I do know that the harder routines rack up more calories, and I definitely worked up a sweat!

Today, I started by walking about 1/2 mile round trip from Kroger to Kohl's instead of driving between neighboring shopping centers. Exercise and saving on gas too - gotta love it!

I'm about to get on the DDR again, so wish me luck!

Current: 161 ( a good week, but you lose a lot the first week, i suspect things will slow down, probably like 2 lbs a week from now on, well i hope!)

Can I join too? I have been digging through my old Weight Watchers stuff today. Luckily, my husband has decided to join me this time, so hopefully that will help me. I don't follow the plan exactly...I've adapted it to better suit me. But, I lost 40 pounds in 7 months the last time I did it (4 years ago)...and I know I can do it again!

I thought it needed a new battery, but they're expensive ($4 each!), so I had to wait until I had the money. I got my husband's Rx filled at Target, and got a $10 gc, so I used it to buy the battery. Unfortunately, that wasn't the problem! The scale is dead!! And I don't know when I'll be able to buy a new one!!

Good News!! My sweet, wonderful (frugal!!) husband took about an hour yesterday, and fixed the scale!! He took it apart, and tested all the wires. Found out that it had a loose contact going to the battery. So...I'm back!!! I'll be weighing in again Friday!

Hello! I did not realize HCW had this thread and I was wondering if I could participate in the weekly weigh ins. I started loosing weight last year after my son was born and it was coming of with little effort while I was breast feeding and now it seems I am having to put in a lot more effort. Hey...to those who are stuck...have you ever heard of the Wendie Plan? It was developed by someone who was on WW, but it's pretty easy to convert to calorie counting, instead of points counting? Basically, you rotate high calorie days with low calorie days, to confuse your metabolism. I used it 4 years ago, when I was on WW. I'm thinking of trying it again! No change for me either...and I'm totally amazed!! It was one of those weeks for me too. I'm such a social eater! If the family wants brownies for dessert....I join them. Congrats on your new job, I bet it will help. Don't worry about that half pound. As long as we keep on moving in the right direction (with a little stumble here and there) the weight WILL come off. I've always been told it is better to take the pounds off slow. I sure hope so, cause I'm going VERY slow. :wavehi:

OK...I'm back! I've been really bad about sticking to any kind of good eating plan, so I've avoided the scales for the past few weeks. Seriously...I spent the past 4 days, sitting on my couch, watching basketball, and eating snacks!!!

Once I get a weighing scale, I will join in so we could help each other to lose weight or keep in shape! I have not weighed myself for almost a year!!

I don't really need to lose a bunch of weight, perhaps just 5 lbs or so (I am only 5') and I have the most unflattering body shape you can imagine and I tend to put on weight very easily if I am not careful!

So.... let's hope I get that scale thing soon and we'll all do this together! :)

Have you tried plugging in every morsel you eat into fidtay.com? I find it keeps me honest. Especially since you're working your butt off - walking 2 miles a day isn't easy.

I'll weigh in next week - I'm PMS'ing right now. I've lost about 8 lbs. for the year but I just recently got serious.

Yes, I have fitday. I actually paid for it when they were running a special a few years back. In my opinion, it is a GREAT tool, IF you use it on a regular basis. Unfortunately, I haven't been for a long time. :rolleyes24: I really need to start back with it.

I didn't even weigh this morning, so I guess I will wait til next week to do the weigh in. :shrug7:
