Where is everyone?

I don't shop at Albertson's, but I am trying to get info for my friend who does in Arizona. I don't see a whole lot of stickies around here like I see in the Kroger and Meijer forums. Can anyone tell me important info about Albertson's in the Arizona area? Do they double or triple coupons? Do the ads ever get posted with coupon matchups over here? It doesn't look like there is a whole lot of action in this thread, which limits how much I can help him. Any information about anything you can give would be great. Thanks!

I am in AZ....but far from an expert on Albies. You should pm xynthia - she shops there a lot. They closed the one by my house so I barely shop there any more. They do not double Qs anymore - but will do so on an irregular basis. If they are doubling it will be in the ad. They do still run really good promotions, but without the double Q they are not as good as they used to be. One thing good is that they take competitor's coupons so you can use the Fresh and Easy 5/20 or 5/30 there.

Albertsons has some great sales. But since they don't usually double coupons I don't shop there very often. When they double, they can be fun. They usually double around the holidays or other big shopping times.

Albertson's is a good store, but since they don't regularly double/triple coupons (and it is farther away from me then Kroger/Fry's), I am only there when a Fresh & Easy $6/$30 coupon shows up, they ARE doubling or there are items in the weekly ad that with coupon match-ups are free/cheap (which is harder to do without doubling). I've actually skipped them 2 weeks in a row due to non-great ads and no F&E Qs out!

The one by me (19th Ave & Northern) is great about coupons - never had a limit enforced or gotten lip for using them. I have called the store a few times to place large order quanitities of items (so I don't wipe the store) and that has worked fine. NP with RainChecks though they are good at putting limits on them so I usually ask for whatever limit I want and they are fine with it.

They are the only store around I know of that takes pretty much all grocery store competitor coupons. This means, Bashas, Fry's, Safeway, Sprouts, Ranch Market, etc Qs - Additionally they will take Catalinas from other store AND they will take Walgreen's Register Rewards! This is problably because there is a WAGs across the street. This can make for excellent Store Q + Manf Q scenarios. But watch the coupons - many times Bashas has actual Manufactuer Coupon in their ad so you can use those at Albertson's but not stack them as they aren't really Store Qs.

They take IPs but the Fresh & Easy ones will only be credited for $2 instead of $6 due to fraud issues *sighs*

I have to drive to the north side of town on Friday's now and noticed that Albertson store is not too far from my route..so I am scanning their online ad today. If I don't make it or they are out I guess I could ad match at the nearest Walmart.

Albertsons has Pillsbury brownie mixes 10 for $10 this week.

I saw in database that there were insert Q's for .35/1 or $1/2 = .65 box or .50 for 2 boxes

Chex Mix 10 for $10 and there printable .60= .40 bag

Betty Crocker Potatos are 10 for $10 and printable Q .40=.60 box

I concur, our Albertsons doesn't regularly double/triple coupons - every couple of months they do. Right now its all monopoly (anyone else just missing ONE tag for a bunch of prizes!) My albie's is the closest store, and I love that they have the blinkie coupons (walmart never does). But for boffo sales, not always.

Oh - I hope this is true - I have been waiting for Albies to at least double again. Seems like they do this very intermittently.
