Hello All,

thought id share this i went to Aldi's and it was a warm day got through the store and i felt like i was gonna pass out the security guard asked if i needed a ambulance I said no. Then she asked me if i needed a chair she gave me a chair and I was still pale so she got me a cold wet paper towel for my face. and then asked me if I wanted a cold juice so she went in back to get me a cold juice from fridge for me. She bagged my groceries for me, and also put chair outside for me so I could get some air, I'm like wow what a service. very good. Didn't expect a discount store like Aldi's to offer such excellent service Aldi's will be my number 1 store from now on wtg Aldis.

Wonderful! I love great customer service!!

As a side note: That would have been one heck of a lot easier to read if there had been some punctuations in there somewhere.

I agree with kval, I think we are all so quick to call when there is a problem, but calling when there is something good to say is always a nice gesture too.

this was edited by me cause I didn't appreciate getting a rude email about the punctuation.

Don't take things like punctuation personal. A lot of people around here don't use it. It does make it rather difficult to follow/read when there are run on sentences, etc. I wager that some people don't even bother reading long paragraphs with no punctuation. BUT people always have the option of NOT reading. I don't think that comment was meant to be rude. Perhaps a gentle nudge to use punctuation in order to get more people to read it.

That's great service! I was surprised they'd have a security guard, though. Our stores don't have them here.

I agree always follow up with a manager as the employee get the recogination they deserve I have done this at shoprite when the baker baked my loaves with special ingredients. Store manager was impressed and said he would thank him personally he also thanked me for mentioning it. I mean we all love a little praise. Great to see chivalary is not dead and gone in this day and age... :)

I dont think the other person meant any harm by their comment we have all done it wrote or said something we didnt intend it to be so give them a break I think... Move on.

Aldi's and Trader Joe's are owned by the same parent company. I worked at TJ's and they pay much better than other groceries stores and focus a lot on customer service as well as offering very affordable good health insurance--I hear it is the same way at Aldi. I know that in our store we had a few people come in and get ill, pass out, etc and managers and workers always offered them food, assistance, calling family for them, etc. Once an older lady came in and passes out--she was a really frequent customer and the manager personally went with her in the ambulance because she was upset and feeling scared.

Another reason to support companies that pay their workers living wages and offer health insurance. It makes a difference to work somewhere where you really feel supported/valued and you pass that on to your customers.

I have an Aldi's but its a bit of a drive...but I do love good customer service! Does Aldi's pretty much just carry their brand or do they also have name brand stuff?

Thanks!

There was puctuation. There were some caps left out but it wasn't hard to read. Get a life. Some of us don't use a spell checker either.
