I think I love you. I try to shop there more and more but never seem to find much since there's no forum for it...

I do shop there alot, but there never really is any good sales except clearence items.this week the meat sales are great.i'm stocking up on the round roast @ $1.79/lb.i never find it cheaper than that.
Also ,i always find great tearpad coupons there.

I don't shop Hannaford all that often, and I have two in my town. My primary store is Shaw's. It sure will be nice to have a forum for Hannaford's though! And I'll second asaccone-I always find great tearpad qs at Hannaford.
The things I do tend to buy there are:
OJ
Brigham's ice cream
produce
some bakery items
deli items
some of their generics
The one thing I can't stand is that they don't double qs!

Thanks for volunteering to be the forum Mod jourdysmom!

Very cool! I have one Hannaford about 20 mins from me that I pass weekly, sometimes I stop, more often not..
I find that since I am not a regular shopper there I have no idea what the regular great deals are. Now that we have a forum, I predict I will shop there more often.

Maybe a sticky that will list every day frees/cheaps? And tearpad/other q's found at Hannaford?

Does Hannaford have catalinas? I can't recall ever seeing/receiving one there. Anyone know?
Thanks!

I have several Hannafords somewhat close to me (closer than shaw's) but, I tend to shop shaw's because of sales and coupon policies...but, I never have luck at shaw's finding tearpads, rebates...etc. So, I think I need to frequent Hannafords more often. I do prefer Hannafords meat and produce section.
Thanks for the forum!!

I also like their meat and produce...but other than that I tend to find their prices to be ridiculously high

I used to shop at our Hannafords a lot because of the produce and the cleaner looking store, but then I found that Shaws had much better prices and deals. Occasionally I go in there for something quick and I've found that they have a lot of coupons. I'll check back here to see what deals they have. There meat is usually a pretty good price. Yipie for the new forum!

Two Hannafords near me but I rarely shop there...why, prices are not inline with the rest and their coupon policy is TERRIBLE
Hope you are reading this Hannaford corporate

Somehow I don't think corporate will find your description of "TERRIBLE" to be informative enough to bother with. Other than not doubling (which lets face it neither does Market Basket) I don't see where its any different than most stores.

Even if York can't comprehend a NBPN/NWPN winetag not needing alcohol purchase since its ME state law....but I'm working on them, one cashier at a time. :hysterical:

yeah, a Hannaford's forum!! I shop all the sales at Shaws and then fill in other things ie: produce, fruit, etc... at Hannaford's.
