In my paper there were 4 coupons to double $1 coupons with a $15 min. purchase after all discounts.
Hmm. I don't know exactly what to get other than diet soda now that my DH has decimated his stockpile.

I got them too. It says minimum $15 purchase. Do they go by pre-sale prices like Safeway with their super coupons?

They're in Waldorf/La Plata starting Friday!
I'm going to use some $1/1 Cascadian Farm coupons to get some cheap frozen organic vegetables.

Get them here too. Trying to figure out what good $1 Qs i've got left after two full weeks of doubling them at Shoppers.

Does anyone know how the $15 minimum works? I assume it is after sales but before coupons? I was hoping to use freebie coupons to get to my $15.
Also, can you do the doublers in the self-checkout or is it easier to go thru a cashier?
I see free Yoplait Yo-Plus & bandaids, but I am mainly going for the 50c Coke.

The coupon says "after all discounts have been subtracted" - not sure if "discounts" means Mfr coupons as well? I'd like to know too!
About the self-checkout question: I was able to use the Giant Trippler coupon a few weeks ago at the self-check out, so I'm guess this one should work there as well.

You need to scan the coupon in the flier first to get your $1 Q to double. You can use only 4 $1 q per transcation I guess with $15 purchase after al discounts. It means, I am guessing it is on sale prices. I guess I won't do more than one transaction.

I am confused by this one LOL - I actually got 3 fliers my delivered papers - is there a cap at the 4 or could I use all 12 coupons - I read the fine print and I cannot find a household limit? Also if I can use all 12 would it have to be in 3 transactions? so if you did self checkout would you scan the items then at the end scan all your regular coupons then scan the doubler then scan the coupon you want to double?

Coke 12pks are on sale $4/10 at SOME Giants (I just noticed that most Giants they are $3/10), you can earn a $1/1 coupon from mycokerewards or there were some $1/1 coke zero or any other coke 12 pk in some booklets at Giant a few weeks back.
anyone know the prices on any other yogurt other than yo-plus? there are tons of $1 dannon coupons out.

Spent more than $15 total and took only 1 coupon that double up to $1.
It was not worth it for me. The lady in front spent around $40 and took 2 coupons that double up to $1. This happened in Montgomery County, MD.
My casher was a coupon policer telling the lady how many coupons she can use for her transaction. So I did not get bother to talk about "purchase and transaction."

They actually refused to double 4 coupons even though that is what the ad clearly states?? Were they trying to claim you had to spend a $15 min purchase PER doubled coupon? I'd void the whole transaction on principle if they tried that. That would be insane. I don't usually shop at Giant, they can be real pains about coupons (especially their own).
as far as i know, Giant has no restrictions on the total number or number of like coupons you can use, but i have not been since they switched to 99c doubles. the doublers clearly stated 4 coupons for up to $8 in savings.

$15 minimum purchase per (1)double upto $1 Gaint coupon was her understanding.
If I wanted to use (4)double upto $1 Gaint coupons, I had to purchase $60 minimum. In another word, $4 off for $60 minimum purchase. I know.... it is INSANE.
I will go elsewhere since I am not so desparate to shop at Giant.
In this economy, their ignorance is not my problem.

If you have time, I would let corporate know that the stores are interpreting the doublers this way. That could not possibly have been the way it was intended. I still haven't bothered to go, I'm not looking forward to the hassle.

Before I even considered trying to do this deal, I talked to the store manager and I asked him to read the fine print with me, and he agreed that you could double 4 $1 coupons if you made the minimum purchase of $15. Once that was out of the way, it was not that bad. The manager said when he saw the coupons there are a few hardcore couponers he was expecting, and I was one of them.
I said it was gonna be a struggle to get to $15. He didn't believe me.
OOP was $9.xx
Was pretty happy, since I didn't really NEED anything.
Juicy Juice, 2/5 on sale, then after coupon 2/3.
soda - raincheck to get me to min. purchase.
free Ken's Marinade,
free Dora Bandaids
free Diego Bandaids

I contacted Giant Customer Service about this and they just called me to confirm that I can use 4 doublers on one $15 transaction. They said there was some confusion amongst their store employees but an email has been sent out and they should now be properly informed as to how this promo works!
I'm going to try it tomorrow so we'll see, now if I can just find $15 worth of stuff that I want to buy!

Used my doublers today, had $1 Q for viva paper towels which are on sale for $6.99, so got 3 of them for $4.99 each. Used the other doubler with the $1 Q off Yoplait Yo-Plus, so got free yogurt.
I got free Trident gum with the .75c Q being doubled up to the price of the item which was $1.29. Apples and Pears were on sale for 99c per lb. Plus I had a Giant Home Mailer coupon for free Swiss Miss Cocoa.
Not a steal, but not too bad I guess. We needed paper towels so now my wife should be happy!

I told the store manager, if the stores want to play these "games" then I accept the challenge to play the game to the best of my ability for the benefit of my family.
