Great! I read that Superfresh is tripling and was really hoping A&P would also. It will be a busy week between A&P and Pathmark triples and KMart super doubles. Not only do I need to sort some coupons, I need to make some room in my freezer and stockpile areas!

The Eggo Frozen Breakfast ( Pancakes, French Toast, Toaster Swirls,....) @ $1.99 is FREE. Use the $.75 q from "Easy Solutions", store mag that came out 2-3 weeks ago. This q is DND 5 so best bet is @ SCO. Possible overage since it's on sale.

I just got back from A&P. My total before Qs and store discounts was $69.67. I paid 5.38 OOP and got 3 $1 OYNO catalinas for buying the mustard.

I thought they must have given me overage to have gotten the bill so low. I'm looking at it now, and it seems SOME of the Qs were adjusted down and some gave overage.

Simply Orange $3.49 Regular Price, $3.00 on sale, - $.55Q tripled = $1.35
Turkey Hill Ice Cream $5.79, $3.00 on sale (I think they overcharged me), - $1.00Q = $2.00

French's Brown Mustard, $1.79, $1.69 on sale, - $.75Q tripled - Q adjusted to $1.79 = $-.10 Overage
Muir Glen Soup 3.49, 2.50 on sale -$.75Q tripled = $.25
Muir Glen Tomato Sauce 2.19, -$.75Q, tripled, not adjusted = $-.06
Newman's Salsa 2.89, $2.39 on sale -$.50Q tripled = $.89
CheezIts 4.39, $2.19 on sale - $.75Q triple - Q was not adjusted, $-.06 overage
Lipton Tea Bags 1.29 -$.60Q tripled, adjusted down = free
Luna Bar $1.29 -$.50Q tripled, adjusted down = free
Suave Deodorant $1.39 - $.50Q, not adjusted = $-.11 overage
Nature Valley Granola Bars $3.19, $2.50 on sale, -$.50Q tripled = $1.00

My math may be off, but that all come to about $10, so I'm not sure what happened!

Is their a maximum on the triples or for "like" coupons?
I may take a trip to a neighboring state if its unlimited....

I did ok at the store... none of mine gave overages - the coupons rang in like that... I guess they had it programmed at my store. They were out of 2 of the items that I wanted - the Viva (no surprise there) and the Kotex. There was only one can of the Muir Glen soups left. Couponers definitely cleared out the store... but I still got oddball items.

I got:
(1) Muir Glen Soup $0.25 after triples
(3.5 lbs) of Grapes = $3.54
3 Welch's Juice Cocktails at $2.50 each. Had one $1/2 MFG. $6.50 total
1 Healthy Ones Deli Meat= Free after triples
4 Juicy Juice 8 pack fun size (this gave me a $1 OYNO... don't know how many you have to buy to get it - 2 week expiration) - $0.34 each after triples
2 Beechnut Let's Grow - Free after triples (would have been free after doubles only too but no overage)
2 Campbell's Soup at Hand $0.60 each after triples
2 Campbell's Soup in a Bowl Condensed $1.27 each after triples (Not a good deal for each Campbells since it was regular price but I need something for lunch this week and can't wait for the sale)
1 Huggies 80 ct = $0.95 after triples
Tax for a lot of the items was at least $1.xx or maybe more.

Total OOP was $17.31. Much higher than everyone else.

Triples any coupon under $1.00 (ie. $0.99 or less) - limit of 4 "like" coupons.

Also, in reference to another post - it seems that if the item is less regular price than the triple, it will only go to the item's price, but if it's less due to a sale it will triple fully:

Mentos Gum $1.49 Regular - Coupon came off:
$0.55
$0.94
(Total of $1.49 only, rather than $1.65)

Colgate Toothpaste $2.99 Regular, Sale for $1.88 - Coupon rang up:

$0.75
$1.50
(Total of $2.25, rather than only $1.88)

Perhaps other locations are programmed differently?

I found some Mambo Sprouts booklets at ShopRite that came in handy at A&P last night.
Asian Gourmet items were free or under .30 with the .50/1
Back to Nature Mac & Cheese was free with .70/1
Luna Bars were free after .50/1

At one of the A&Ps last night I was shopping more from the boxes on pallets waiting to be shelved than I was from the shelves themselves. I was able to get the BC Frosting, Chex Mix, Bumble Bee Tuna and Minute Maid rice cups thanks to the boxes since the shelves were bare for those items.

It turned out to be a better week for triples than I first thought! I was really glad to find the Easy Solutions booklets at the second store and did a few transactions to load up on Eggos. The filled pastry twists are really tasty!
