Certain GM cereals are on 3/$5 (I remember Honey Nut Cheerios and Trix off the top of my head). There are .55/1 (which would double) printables that would make each box .57!! Stock up time! :BigHand:

Thanks for the hard work
I am disappointed though, I read about the organic eggs in other areas on sale as BOGO but not for us.
Even the Kraft cheese is 2 for $6 and almost everywhere else, it is 2 for $4.
mmm, not a lot of shopping this week

OK- my laptop is out of whack right this second (halfway through ad match-ups this morning) so I would have to do any other coupon matchups one at a time (typing all of the info) instead of cut/paste from last week's list. Looking at them, nothing jumps out as having coupons to make it free or even a really good deal, so I probably will not do any more work on this- calling it done even though there are plenty of other coupons.

Personally I am a little glad for an off week. Needed a break to get current stockpile in order.

I'm excited about the Nature's Own Whitewheat bread B1G1F - it has more than twice the fiber of Sara Lee Whole Grain, I'll stock the freezer for sure. There used to be a printable coupon too, I'll have to see if it's still available.

Also excited about Mission products on sale. We go thru a lot of tortillas.

My Kroger in Russellville will only let you use one internet printable per "brand" so if I have 4 boxes of cereal I am allowed only one printable and no coupons for the other three unless they are manufacturer coupons. It sucks!

I'm new to couponing at Kroger, but this is what I'm planning on getting this week:

Tyson B/S chicken breast $1.88 per pound. Our local Aldi sells it at $2.16 per pound, so I think this is a good deal.

I'm going to try one of the Dial Hand Soap deals at $0.88. I'm going to try using a $0.35/1 coupon to see if my Kroger will double or not. If they do, then I'll use all three coupons I have.

Toaster Strudel 2/$4 so $2/1 - $0.70 ($0.35/1 mfg.cpn.) - $0.50 cellfire = $0.80. Is this a good deal for this product? This is not something I would normally buy.

Yoplait Kid's Cup Yogurt 2/$4 - $1 shortcuts - $2 mfg. cpns. (2-$0.50/1) = $1.00 for 2

Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage $2.49 - $0.70 mfg. cpn. = $1.79
Our Aldi carries smoked sausage at $2.29 for 16 oz.

I'm also going to check the prices on the Mission Life Balance Tortillas. I have coupons for $0.55/1. Aldi sells a 17.5 oz. package of tortillas for $0.99, so if I can beat this price I will pick up four of these.

Finally, I plan on looking at the General Mills cereals to see if I have any coupons that will match up. Does anyone have a list of all the varieties that are included in this sale?

Are you finding a good deal on something that I missed? If so, I would appreciate it if you would share it! Like I said, I am new to Kroger and still learning, so any input would be greatly appreciated!

Re: the Dial - unless the cashier overrides the register, the coupon will not double because the barcode begins with a '9'. I'm not using these coupons for that very reason, .50 for 7.5 oz of liquid soap is not a good deal to me.

The only thing I see in the database is: Nature's Own bread or buns - 12-07-08 SS $1/1. Have you been to the store yet? The last time a coupon came out for Mission, I was excited and then ended up not using it because their brand was SO much more than store brand. Does 33% off make it comparable? (I haven't been down yet.)

We're glad to have ya! I also plan on picking up the chicken (I tend to buy at least a couple of bags every time it goes below $2/lb. BL/SL chicken breasts are one of the few things that I refuse to budge on- I don't want bone-in anything.)

That is a decent price for the Toaster Strudels. They used to go on sale all the time for 3/$5 and put out .50/1 coupons, but I haven't seen that price in quite a while. The other things you have listed are also good deals and it sounds like you are going about this the right way, this just isn't a week with lots of overwhelmingly hot items. Stick with us, though!

The printables I have all say do not double or triple even though they're only for .55/1 and my store usually doubles up to .55.

If the number at the bottom starts with a "5" they probably will double anyway (those that start with a "9" will not double). Since they have the "do not double" wording on them, the cashiers would have the right to stop the register from doubling them, but most often they do not bother. (I do occasionally visit one grocery store that reads every coupon looking for it, but it isn't a Kroger.)

The Kroger I work at doubles IP's, but I've never paid attention as to whether they start with a 5 or 9. I'll have to watch that..thanks for pointing that out. I'm not sure if it's company wide, but my Kroger only doubles the first 6 of the same coupon. Still a good deal though :) And I checked tonight when I got off work, and the only 3/$5 cereals we have are Honey Nut Cheerios, Multi-Grain Cheerios and Trix. We don't like the Multi-Grain ones, so I guess I'll be using up the Trix printables :)

I think most Krogers in the Delta region double the first 8 like coupons (after that they are redeemed at face value); however, this does seem to vary some by store.

Hi Gavin and maggies mom!!! Ours doubles the first 8. If they start with a 5 it's automatic but if it starts with a 9 they force it thru. But only 1 of the 8 can be an ip!!lol I go to the one on E. Main. They never had a problem with multiples until the Planters deal and after my 4th or 5th trip thru in a week they put up a sign limiting the ip's.LOL

For the B1G1 bread - on the very first page of the Red Plum that came in the mail (supposed to be for this Sunday but ours no longer comes in the paper, grr) it has a coupon for .55 off. So, that makes for 1.10 off and some pretty cheap bread!

Filippo Berio Olive Oil 8.99 - 1.00 (hangtag found on some bottles, also an IP) 7.99 (regular price 10.99). I think this price was good until the end of March, IIRC.

Crest premium toothpaste, several varieties 2.50 - 1.50 mfr cpn - 1.50 e-saver = .50 moneymaker (I got the larger size Crest with Scope and it worked perfectly!). I forgot to make note of the end date on this one.

I found a couple I'd like to add if it's alright.
Purel hand sanitizer 2 oz. bottle was .69 after doubling the .55/1 mfq from an insert a couple weeks ago.
Suave body wash was .69 after doubling .50/1 (sale price was $1.69)
Free Cottonelle toilet paper: Sale price .99 - $1/1 any four pack IP (also used .25/1 from cellfire)
Free Band-Aid brand Butterfly Closures: Clearance price .77 - $1/1 mfq from insert = free (they adjusted the price of the coupon to .77 because it won't go through at $1)
Suave Advanced Therapy lotion was $1 after doubling .50/1 mfq (Sale price was 2/$4 and found something else that was 2/$4 to make the coupon work)
Those Steam veggie things were $1 each after doubling .50/1 (sale price was 2/$4)
Satin Care shave gel was $1.99 - $1/1 = .99
That's all I can remember right now, but my total before coupons was over $50, and oop was $22 including tax. Not bad :)

All over the cereal in the Southaven Kroger are BOGO coupons for Kelloggs Cereal. Some cereal is 2.69 this week. If you use the BOGO plus the .50 off from a recent flyer it will make it 2 for $1.69 or .85c each.

I don't know about ya'll but that rocks for us - hubby loves, loves, loves frosted mini wheat!
