This Friday – Saturday has AWESOME deals at Hen House!

Even though I should be folding laundry right now, I put this list together because all of you have been so helpful to me by providing advice, so I thought I would share my finds. Most of the coupons are mq so search the database and you should have an easy time matching things up.

Here is what is on my shopping list:

Eggland Best Eggs $1.38 - $.35mq (doubled) = $.68
Era (96 wash) = $8.96 (can’t find good detergent any cheaper)
Electrosol $1.58 -$.25mq (doubled) = $1.08
Grands Biscuits $.96 - $1.00 ip = $.04 overage (I don’t know if the $1 off are around anymore but there are several ip and mq around)
Blue Bunny Ice Cream $2.18 - $1.00ip = $1.18
Kellogg’s Fruit Snacks 4 for $5 – (2) $1.00/2 mq = 4/$3 or $.75 a box
Sabra Hummus $3.99 - $1.50mq = $2.49
Betty Crocker Frosting $1.47 - $.50mq (doubled) = $.47
Jif Peanut Butter $1.99 - $1.00/2 = $2.98 for two or $1.49ea
Cottonelle Toliet Paper 6-roll $2.96 - $.50ip (doubled) = $1.96

Hope this helps.

Happy Shopping!!

This is more of an everyday price but the other day I noticed Roberts skim milk is $3.19 a gallon. The .50 q in the 1/4/09 SS doubled makes it $2.19 a gallon!

I noticed that too. We belong to CostCo - so milk is still cheaper there by a dime, but I know there is going to be a time when I'm in Hen House and need milk - so I'm holding on the coupon. Maybe we'll luck out and there will be a sale too. :wink7:

In the coupon database, does GM mean General Mills? Do they send out their own inserts in the paper? I think I only receive SS and RP.

GM is General Mills. The insert came out in last week's paper. It was a tiny one and almost looked like it belonged in SS but just fell out.

Hope that helps.

Also - I would hit Hen House early. I went this morning and there were several items that were way LOW on stock.

Watch out for the new Robert's coupons. Many of them say, "Not Subject To Doubling" on them.

Yes, sometimes the Sunday paper will have an insert which consists only of coupons for General Mills' products.

And...if HH is out of something get a raincheck. They're good for 30 days (it's like having a 30-day sale!!!) Sometimes I get lucky and a MQ comes out while one of my rainchecks is still valid. cha-ching!

Thanks for the tip on rain check.

Also - I hardly ever have a situation where they don't double. In fact, I can only remember twice where they didn't double every coupon I had regardless if it said "no doubling or tripling". I shop at the Hen House on College and Quivera.

Do you have problems with them doubling or not?

I've had a cashier at 135 & Metcalf only take 2 like coupons.
But then I did the Quaker Oats deal a couple of weeks ago and used three like coupons in one transaction, so maybe YMMV.
