Maybe on totally wrong, but would the razors be free.

$4 manu q, then the $4 cat towards the next razor. Or can we not use the cat on razors?

No the L'Oreal is not on sale .
And the Razors would be free after you pay $4.00 for the first one, unless you had another cat to pay the first one.

I actually find the SCO cashiers to be less scrutinizing about coupons, especially if I have a stack of coupons that are all the same. Also, there are occasional "errors" when they manually enter in the coupons, which is how I get $.50 overage on all of my Trident coupons!

Also, here's hoping that the Fusion Power razors are on sale, although between here and CVS I will have a lifetime supply of razors!

Price Check please....

Does any one remember how much are VIVA single rolls are? I found a .75 blinkie at Kmart.

And also if you can, pick up couple of sale booklets at kmart. They have $3/5 quacker/aunt jemima and also $1 off on Wringley gum. I picked up 10 of them as I my stock pile of Syrup came down to 3 bottles and gum came down to 3 packs.

I had more than 2 of a Q (can't remember which one) and the one cashier asked the other one about the DND. She didn't know, and I told them it starts with a 5 so it automatically doubles.
They let it slide.
But, I have had regular cashiers stop them, which ticks me off.

On occasion, when a cashier has stopped a do not double, I remind them that GE doubles, and they usually will go ahead and double then...........

Nature Valley granola bars are 4/10.00.
Buy 5, use 5 .50/1 coupons from 1/4
and with the 3.50 ONYO cat, it makes it $4.00/5 boxes or .75/box ... Not the best deal on granola bars in general, but I really like these ones.

Downy is 2/12.00 ... I have a bunch of 2.00/1 Downy cats that would make it $4 for a 90 load bottle.

Has anyone had any luck getting a rain check for items with coupons OYNO? For instance, I just checked the stock at several stores for Fusion Razors, and I anticipate them running out of razors immediately.

I'm hoping to talk someone into giving me a rain check for the price AFTER the OYNO (3.99 for a razor) but I anticipate running into problems.

Also, the cheapest Viva product was a single roll priced at $2.19.

Campbells v8 soup 2 for 5 use $1 off one
Tropicana OJ is 3 for 9 use $1 off two. Can't decide if this is worth it or not since GE OJ is on sale for 2.28 a gallon
Snapple antioxidant water is 2 for $1 if you are lucky enough to have one of the .25 off hangtags that were floating around. They would be free! I saw them at Marcs a while ago but didn't grab any.

Thank You for the price check on viva. Even after coupon, it would be .69 a roll. Not worth in my book. I read some where that walmart had them for $1. Might try there.

If you highlight the coupon before you hit print then choose selection you will only print the coupon and save ink and paper because it no longer prints in the middle of the page, but at the top.

I did the fusion deal today and the cat that prints is for $$ off your next health and beauty purchase and then says not good on P&G products in the fine print to the right.

I guess technically that means we should not roll back into another razor.

It'll probably still scan for them though. I usually throw milk into an order if I have an oyno and need to get my total above the value of the cat. It still scans even though I'm pretty sure the small print says not good on milk LOL

I saw on another board that the cat will scan fine if you roll it into another razor. I don't know if the cashiers will know it's a P&G item, or even care - so you might be fine. But I did see that the stock was very limited. Hopefully they'll get more in!

The self scan check will beep after the second coupon. That is the same coupon.

You didn't do anything wrong in using more than 2 of the same coupon, but it will beep for the same value.

neekyme
02-12-2009, 04:51:44 PM
Yeah, because the coupon says DND , if you get a stickler of a cashier they can manually override it to not double. So either go with a cool cashier, or only use 2 at a time at the SCO - it will automatically double, and by using 2 you won't have to deal with the cashier. The light will blink and a bell will sound if you only get two, because your total will be 0.00 - you just show the cashier your slip when you leave and you're fine. Or ad in something cheap, like a pouch of Betty Crocker potatoes (30 cents after the 25 cent coupon doubles)

I ended up getting 8 today by rolling all my $3 cats, and now have 8 of the $4 cats. It reads off any health or beauty item. So I was thinking, food could be a health item, right? Cause if I didn't eat, I would starve, and that's not healthy.

It worked fine for me in Firefox. Do you have a 'View - Zoom' type function on your browser maybe? Although, even though the coupon printed normal size I could tell it wasn't going to scan, so I cut off the bottom half and kept the top half showing it was from their website - and sure enough it wouldnt scan so the cashier just manually put in the 1$ off.

Not sure if they're worth the money though. It's only 49% juice - so same as watering down juice. And they taste the same way - like watery juice LOL My 2 yr old DD didn't like them, but my 6 month old DS did (but he'll eat/drink anything). The bottle is cool though - it's kinda like a sippy cup in that they have a rubber valve in the top, so the kid has to really suck on it to get the juice out, and it doesnt leak everywhere (I have an open one laying on it's side in the fridge and it's not leaking.

My GE only had 2 kinds, Banana Carrot and Apple Carrot. I really wanted the Purple Carrot kinds!

I ended up getting 8 today by rolling all my $3 cats, and now have 8 of the $4 cats. It reads off any health or beauty item. So I was thinking, food could be a health item, right? Cause if I didn't eat, I would starve, and that's not healthy.

:hysterical: Thats cute! Or better yet.. .isn't there "health" foods that you can buy ???:whistle67:

I found them near the napkins, on the top shelf.Yea, I found the Wet Ones on the top shelf near the paper plates.

It only took me three different Giant Eagle employees to help me out ... they kept on saying 'Near the baby food items.'

Well, it is in the same aisle but across from the baby food items.

+

I ended up only purchasing two because that was all they had (they even looked in the backroom).

So, after going through the checkout I did ask for and received a precious (like gold) raincheck.

+

There are two flavors:

• Original
• Sensitive Skin

+

There are bonus packs, 20% more.

So, instead of 40 sheets you will be getting 48.

+

Smelling salts were needed ...

Made in U.S.A.

I always got rainchecks at GE but never used them yet..because im a lil confused about it.
if i get a raincheck good for 6items and only have 1 or 2 on the shelf at all times...do they just knock off one off the limit? so you can get more when they come in?

the raincheck is only for one use - which stinks when they only usually have 1 or 2 on the shelf (maybe you can ask someone to order the item for you so you can take advantage of the full raincheck.

If you talk to one of the customer service people, they should be able to either mark up the rain check to allow you to get more, and write you a new rain check. I have done it once at GE, and we had to do it all the time at a grocery store I used to work at.

In regards to the raincheck, I sometimes get a few rainchecks at one time. If I have 5 coupons for an item that they usually carry only 1 or 2 of and they are out when I go, I will get 5 rainchecks with an amount of 1 on each of them. It will depend on your customer service rep. In the past I have lost out of items when I went to use the raincheck and they did not have all that I wanted.

One Customer service lady told me that I can get one rain check only per item. I asked her to give me 3 rain checks for 10 each of birdseye veggis and she gave me only one. But same store different person, gave me 4 rain checks for 10 each of tyson anytizers.
Actually I try to get one from the cashier and one from the customer service in the same trip.

Hefty trash bags are 2/$6. There are $1/1 coupons from 1/25 RP, 12/14 RP and 11/16 RP.

Freschetta pizza is 2/$10. Use the 75c/1 coupon from 2/8 SS.

Yoplait Yo-Plus yogurt (4 pk) is 2/$5. There's a $1.50/1 IP in the Database.

Flintstones vitamins are $4.99. Use the $1/1 coupon from 1/4 SS.

Yoplait Yo-Plus yogurts are on sale at Weis 2/$4 and if you buy 7 you get a $4 cat. If you buy 14, you get a cat for more (can't remember how much, sorry!)

Aha! That's why it has 51% less sugar than apple juice (as it says on their website) - it has 51% less juice! :giggle2:

Thank you for the tip on printing - but you're right - I don't think they're worth getting. I can water down my own juice for wayyyy less, lol!

How did it turn out in reality?

Just as a heads up: I went around to 4 different GEs (Monroeville Area) this morning, and no one had any razors left, at least none of the power ones. I was able to get a Raincheck from each place (10 each) and they said that if I brought in the sale add they would honor the $4 OYNO via a gift card or something else.

And since I have lots of coupons left, I am envisioning a special order of razors for me in the near future!!

That is wonderful! My store or at least the one assistant manager would tell me it was fraud. :hectic1:

I don't know if this was mentioned yet, but...

Yesterday I found Ortega Taco Seasoning packets for .78 cents (on extended price reduction --don't know the dates). There are q's for .75/2 Ortega products, any.

This makes them .03 cents per packet.

Great deal! And Ortega taco seasoning is gluten , soy and dairy free.(as far as I know)....if anyone cares about that :)

woohoo - FINALLY - the arnold soft and natural bread is bogo - 2/$2.98 (use .55/1 q from 1/4 SS - pay .39 a loaf) or use the $1 q in the March issue of All You.

Also in the All You is a $1/1 thomas english muffins - I think they are also 2/$2.98 so, .49 after q.

Argh - I still havent got my March All You lol Hopefully it will come soon, as I see everyone talking about it, but mine's still not here!

Oh - on Wonder Bread there were 55c peelies on every loaf yesterday. Well, all but the Italian, so I swiped one off the regular stuff and used it on the Italian, which was on sale for 1.99. The peelie is a DND-5, but it automatically doubled and made the Italian bread 89 cents :-) Sorry for being a peelie swiper - but we have enough regular bread...and I really really wanted Italian! lol

ohhh, forgot to mention - there were blinkies for Fresh Express - $2/2 blends and .55/1 spinach (they both started with a "9"). I'm going to look for the .55/1 q's at SNS since they still get the ones that start with a "5"

The North Huntington store had Primrose's for 1$ today. I kept seeing everyone buying these adorable little pots of flowers - and finally broke down and asked the lady in front of me in line what the deal was LOL They were back in floral - must have had a half dozen tables full of little pots with very nice looking plants - some had some dried flowers or flowers with petals getting a little sad looking, but most were ok. Not bad for a buck!

So now I gotta find out if these things are something I should plant outside later in the spring? or just keep in the pot in the window? I'm not very good at growing plants...other than Aloe - I have an overabundance of aloe plants LOL
