Okay so I went to Kroger's yesterday with my Plus card loaded with a $3.00 off two Huggies coupon from Cellfire. I had apparently previously loaded on a $1.50/1 coupon for Huggies on Cellfire and a $1.00/1 coupon from Shortcuts. I was thinking that since I was buying 2 packages it would automatically use the Cellfire $3.00/2 coupon. Wrong. It took off $1.50/1 cellfire and $1.00/1 shortcuts. I am not sure I understand at all how this works. Is it totally random?? I am thinking I need to not load these types of coupons on until I am sure I am loading the best one on the card. I thought the more recent would overwrite the older but I was wrong I guess.

OK i dont know if this has been asked, but I hope someone can help me out. I just loaded coupons on my kroger card from the p&g website.. now heres were i get confussed... Say i got purchase Gain thats on sale right now for 4.99 I have this weeks coupon for .50 off and double that. does the coupon on my kroger card get used to???? and if so is it doubled??? so i quess what i am wondering is if i buy something on sale can i use a paper coupon and the card coupon i loaded on my card....thanks a bunch:smile:

Yes, you can always use a paper coupon on items that are on sale. You can use a paper coupon and the loadable coupon will come off also, wether it be from P&G, shortcuts or Cellfire. Not sure if 2 loadable coupons will come off at the same time tho, but yes they can be combined.

Oh Snap... OK I think I did something wrong but i cant figure it out. My boyfriend and I both have our own kroger cards. So i loaded his and mine up with coupons. I had it figured to a T of what we were getting and the price. I go to cash out and none of my coupons from p&g, shortcuts or cellfire were removed off my bill. I was so dissappointed :( Then i look over and see the smile on his face and he tells me that he purchased more than me and all his coupons that were loaded were taken off his bill.....I went back to the sites to make sure I loaded them correctly and all was good....What did I do wrong :( Good news hes excited about couponing now he sees how much he can save....Me not so happy

Thats a bummer for you but good for your BF. I don't have an answer for you other than is it possible you didn't buy the correct item or size? I signed up for cellfire just a week or so ago and I've purchased fiber one bars a few times on the mega sale and it didn't come off. This reminded me to check and it shows ready to use:shrug7: so I don't know whats going on either.

Yup we both bought the same items, and had the same stuff on our cards. I quess Ill try it again. Needless to say hes still rubbing it in my face. Ha Ha

We have a local store that is owned by Kroger and it's called Jay-C. They are doing the Mega Event too.

Now the ad says buy 10 and get $5 off...how is buying 10 and getting $5 off making these items super cheap? :giggle2:

I mean they are higher priced than Walmart and even with the sale and coupon Walmart will be cheaper. So am I just missing something or is there a way to make this work for me? Thanks for any advice. And if this needs to be moved I understand. And sorry if it's already been asked.

nope it's completely different. They do have Kroger items on sale there. Most of the items that are on sale seem to be Kroger brand.

Alrighty i have a loaded coupon question. Im planning on doing a trip to krogers tonight and I want to make sure I have my trip planned out . I want to use the mega deal event with my coupons loaded on my Kroger card. Heres the question....
I have coupons from cellfire, shortcuts and p and g. will each coupon from each site come off of 1 item. example chex mix. its part of the mega deal and i have a paper coupon plus coupon on cellfire and shortcuts. will both shortcuts and cellfire come off at the end. or does only 1 coupon come off from one of those sites..also will this effect the 5.00 off at the end. ok i think i just confussed my self again. please help....

In my experience, I've had coupons come off of Cellfire when paired with a paper coupon, but not Shortcuts. YMMV, but that's what I've found to be true in my case (although there's only been a few instances in which that's been tested).

The paper coupon and the mega deal shouldn't be affected at all by the use of the e-coupons. As far as combining the cellfire and shortcuts, I have had one occasion when both counted and one in which only one came off (I can't remember which coupon worked and which didn't). I always load everything that I think I may use of the e-coupons and then just count them as extras when they work.

In my experience Cellfire is completely random. I never know when it's going to work and when it's not. Shortcuts seems to be a bit more reliable but like Rebecca said, I don't count on it.

I did this the other day when I bought the fiber one bars--the shortcuts AND the cellfire came off, as well as the paper coupon. Pretty cool!

Oops--and no, it did not affect the $5.00 at the end because that is based on the # of qualifying items, not their price. =)

I've been having problems with p&g, and all the online coupons working. It's very sporadic and most of the time doesn't work. After several weeks, kroger contacted me and let me know that my card basically is very old, one of the original and those cards are not working correctly(really, I don't even use a card, just put in my number), so they are sending me a new card. I'm excited they actually cared enough to check into it and I'm even more excited that I can start saving even more money!!!:BigHand:

Hey, Thanks! I have a really old card and was also having a problem with my p&g esaver c/o's. Gonna go get a new card and see if it helps. My CellFire works, Short-cuts iffy and p&g rare. Maybe a new card will help.

I really hope some one can help me understand this. My krogers has the Daytona 500 deal buy 10 items get 3.00 off. Well one of the items is Betty Crocker friut snacks (select varieties) I have a coupon that reads....Save 50 cents when you buy ONE BOX any flavor Betty Crocker(R) Fruit Roll-ups(R) Fruit Stickerz(R) Fruit Flavor Snacks(R). Now it has a picture of the stickerz but I was wondering will this work on other fruit flavor snacks possiblly the ones on sale. that would make it after coupon $4.90 for 10 boxes of fruit snacks......If so this is a good deal in my eyes...:BigHand:

I think the .50/1 are only good on the Stickerz (used to be stackerz).

I think the 0.50/1 is only good on the Stickerz as well. At my kroger they were part of the Daytona sale and was ringing up $1.79 (before the $3 off) just like the other fruit snacks but the shelf wasn't labeled as being $1.79. HTH

I used this on Fruit Roll-ups....it didn't beep for Strawberry flavor, but it did for all of the other flavors??

I figured it out.

When I went to "Deals" it showed my small town, which has no Kroger's. After clicking on my town's name, I was able to change it by typing in the city near us. That brought up the grocery deals and such. I was able to click on one, which prompted a pop up window asking me to add my card.

Can I use a catalina coupon and a MQ on the same item at kroger? I cant find the answer anywhere, though it may be already posted. I have seen at times where people are doing that but want to make sure I can. Any help would be appreciated. Also, can I use a peelie with a MQ?

Most times the Catalina is a manf coupon, so no, you can't. Same with the peelie. Unless the peelie or cat says "store coupon", you can't combine it. Also you can only use cats at the store that issues them (can't take a Safeway cat to Krogers).

Generally I can tell you they are fairly coupon friendly-I haven't ever really had any problems there-usually fairly well stocked. I usually only shop in the evenings-but have always had great results.

The new Walgreens should open somtime in April too-so you may want to check that out.:BigHand:

I have found them to be very coupon friendly. Even having clerks gather around to see how well I do.

The last time they did the buy 10/ get $5 off deal, they were super helpful. I did 3 different trx with 3 deals per trx. They checked each trx before they finalized it to make sure it rang up right so if I needed to change anything I could.

Only drawback - they only double to 50. Gerbes in Jefferson City treats >.51 like $100

There on sale this week for $15.99 and when you buy them you get $3 off. Also there are $3 coupons out making them $9.99 a pack then.

Thanks for your help. I went ahead and got them yesterday. There were 76 in the box. I figured it all out and it was actually cheaper to buy the 3 pks instead of the box.
3 pks =$19.02
-$3 for the Discount
-(3) $3 coupons
Grand Total $7.02 for 3 pks and 78 diapers

I edit it to mention coupon does say limit 1 per transaction. I asked my manager for approval before i used them. He said it was ok and yes he had to overide it.
