Today was my first Copps adventure. I was so excited to get doubles today.
My deal alert is Fisher dry roasted peanuts. They are on sale 3/4.98 and I had two $1 coupons which doubled. If I am doing the math right, I got 4 jars of peanuts for $2.64. So 66 cents each is a great deal.

Did you see the BOGO Lysol? Toilet bowl cleaners must be $2.99 so 2/$2.99 with $1/2 Q dbld.

I am doing the Dove shampoo/conditioner get free styling product and the buy 2 deodorants/get free razors. I have a coupon for all 5/6 items listed so that should be a great deal too.

Yeah

I tried to leave a posting for this week's deals--now I can't see them. I am new to HCW and think I put it in the wrong section.

Hi, new here today. I know Julie from HTE -- hi Julie :)

I've tried the double coupon day at Copps, but have found that their prices are so much higher than Woodmans, that even doubling the coupon only brings the price down to the regular Woodmans price.

What are you all finding that makes Copps a better deal?? The store here doesn't accept internet coupons. Does yours?

Hi Nancy! Cool to see you here.
I only shop Copps for the specials. In fact I shop 3 different stores during the week and only pick up the great deals at each one. I would love to shop Woodman's but part of the game is planning the attack and it's too hard to do since they don't send out a weekly ad.
In the 3 months I have been doing this I have slashed my grocery bill by 55-60% and my Health & beauty products by a whopping 85% by shopping CVS and Wags. I now have a stockpile of food for 4 months and H&B stockpile for a good year plus.

Woodman's does have good deals, but unless you catch a commercial--you don't know what they are.

As for the prices, I guess I never buy things unless they are on sale (or I desparately need them). Sale + dbl coupons = great deals.

Woodman's doesn't accept internet printed coupons.

Shaffy, the Woodmans in Appleton accepts internet coupons, they started a few months ago. 1 coupon per like item only so if you have more than one, bring a buddy to go thru a different line. I do that with my DH, or I just take my order out to the car and then go back in and pick up the duplicates and use the speed checkout.

Sales paper or not, I find Woodmans to be far less expensive than any of the other stores, at least for the things we purchase.

Julie, 55-60% is a huge savings!! Good for you! :)
