OH my gosh - me too! Wonder if we've seen each other? I live behind it, only about 3 minutes away - so I'm always there. I usually have my son tied to me...in a baby wrap LOL If you see someone with auburnish brown hair with a 5 month old strapped to her chest - it's me - stop and say Hi LOL I love that store :-) Everyone is so friendly.
I sometimes go to the North Huntington store or the Greensburg store (the one by the mall). I tend to stay away from the Latrobe one, coz the manager there is awful....had a couple run-ins with her. I'll do small runs there if I'm out at CVS, but I never would try a big order there with lots of coupons.

I bet we have seen each other, I'll have to keep my eye out for you. I have long light brown hair and always have my coupon box (note card sized) and a handful of coupons with me. I'm usually in after work around 4pm. I really like that store too. I have been very lucky with not having any problems. Haven't been to any of the other GE's lately since its convenient for me to stop at the Hempfield Square one after work. I work in Greensburg but live near Hempfield High School so I usually only head the other way if I'm going to the cvs. Haven't been to the one by the mall in a looong time.
I don't know about you but I'm excited for the Walgreens to open up across from Walmart. How am I going to have time to do all the deals!

I mostly shop in the North Huntingdon, PA store but usually end up stopping at any Giant Eagle I pass. I never have any issues with coupons at the N. Huntingdon store. The only problem I have had is ocassionally the Catalina machines don't print but customer service always seems to come through for me.
You should see my purchase history on the website. It's a mile long with small transactions at many different stores.

Oh yeah - I even emailed WGs asking when the store will be opening, but it's not on their grand opening list yet. I think if I catch on to WGs I might give up RA or CVS - only because RA's financial picture scares me, and CVS is such a long drive. Like right now I have to get out there this week for the Gillette shampoo (or a Raincheck most likely lol) - but I just never seem to have a chance to drive out that way.
I'll keep my eye out for you up at GE though :-)

I am in Austintown and I am very happy with it ---- minus the fact that there were no coupons in last sundays pitt post gazette (they let me take them back the next day)
lifeskills13 and dogslider....are you the ones swiping all of the tearpads??? :giggle2:
Are there ever rebates in the store? Maybe I am missing the location - I'm new to the area and store.

pfft tearpads?! where? i want some!! lol
the only one i saw recently was the buy vanity fair get free eggs one..and that was in the howland one.
loooonngg time ago i found a tearpad for the schewbels (i know im misspelling it) bread .55/1 i was so happy! lol
if you find something let me know..i only shop 1-3times every two weeks. i don't drive so i have to work around someone else's schedule :)
i went once thru the wine section ..and found some good coupons..of course i felt like a theif for taking two tags and walking away without no wine..but the coupons said no wine purchase necessary! lol

I almost never go to the other Butler store.

I live south of Cleveland now. I now shop at the Brecksville (for simple deals - it's a small store), North Royalton and Macedonia Giant Eagles.
However, y'all have me walking down memory lane......
I cut my couponing teeth years ago in Greensburg at the old Giant Eagle on rt. 30 (where Big Lots is now) and then Hempfield Square. I miss the Hempfield Square Giant Eagle - great bakery, clean store, friendly people. Back when we lived there they didn't double coupons all the time (if they even do now), but once in a while, when Foodland (the one by Seabase & the former Pharmor/current(?) Ollies) was doing it, they'd do double 99 cent coupons for a few days...unadvertised, signs on the doors. I remember one all night coupon cutting marathon that got me a packed cart of food and H&B for $14 something and applause from the cashiers. :BigHand:
I loved that store. Is that helpful cart fellow Regis still there???
The Eastland(?) store on the other side of Greensburg on 30 past the mall toward Latrobe was also very friendly. Latrobe was always a nightmare...if it was on sale they didn't have it...
When I get down to the 'Burg and the weather's not too hot, I will also stop at the Cranberry Giant Eagle for some Isalys Chipped Ham. You can get it here, but rarely do they chip it right and it's just not the same, so when I have a chance I stop there to get some to bring back.

LOL Too funny! I still call the Foodland (although, I think it's a Shop n Save now) shopping plaza the 'Old Pharmor plaza'. The Eastgate (not eastland) is the 'Old GeeBees Plaza, although I only vuagly remember that store. And where Burlington is I still call the old Hills plaza. Heck, my mom still calls ToysRus 'Children's Palace'! LOL I laugh every time she says she's stopping at Childrens Palace to pick up a gift for the kids :-)
I love the Hempfield store. That store is the best around. I don't shop at the Eastgate one often, and I stear clear of Latrobe. The store manager there is terrible. The North Huntington store is HUGE, but always so busy that I rarely stop there unless I'm on the hunt for something my store is out of.

two things i noticed:
Milk $3.38 at austintown but $3.18 at howland...?! what? lol regular price i double checked, i thought my eyes were fooling me..is that a 3 or a 1? lol
a few miles difference and .20cents cheaper on milk :(
Original Ragoon: i sent an email to the company so i got two free coupons to use.
howland carries One type "Crab Ragoons" and austintown carries none :(

I live a block away from the Lakewood GE, so by default I go there a lot. I frequent all the surrounding ones though. My absolute favorite is the Rocky River GE. They are the most Q friendly store I have ever been to.

Am I the only shopper that goes to the Wadsworth Giant Eagle? I can't wait for the new one to open here. We are also getting a GetGo so that will be nice.

Another one from NE Ohio here! Since it's the closest to me, I'm usually at the GE in Shoregate shopping center. But, from time to time I'll stop at the one in Willoughby to make a run to BJ's and Target as well.
Of course, if I'm out with my mom, I'll stop at hers with her - Mentor-on-the-Lake,
I guess I'm another GE Nomadic shopper!

Both Giant Eagles in Frederick MD are really great. I feel the one Rt 40 aka Golden mile or Patrick Street ( all one location..lol) is more friendly and organized but they both serve the purpose.
If you do the self scan shopping thing ( where you take the handheld scanner w/ you and scan you items and then pay at a special register) the store on 7th street does NOT offer that.
I don't have little ones but the Eagle's Nest at Rt 40 looks bigger and nicer than the one on 7th street too!

No wonder I can't find anything in stock there! HAHA
Monroeville is my main store, but I also make it to Murrysville and Penn Hills when I'm feeling adventurous!

Hey all! I couldn't find where I ever posted on this thread. Anywho, I shop at the Doral Drive store in Boardman, OH. I used to shop at the Salem, OH store. Salem is independently-owned & the cashiers are nasty so I refuse to give them any more of my hard-earned money.
Doral Drive has an Eagle's Nest & both my son & I love it!

Oh my gosh. I shop at Shoregate too! I'm surprised because this is such a small town. Today they ran out of the free wilton baking pans. They gave me a different cake pan, they are so nice there.

I shop at the Sheffield (Route 254) GE!
Look for me and the twins and the car cart (they are usually eating a cookie or anything the nice ladies at the deli give them!).
I also shop in Sheffield. Although if I shop during the day, I will shop in Elyria for the Eagle's Nest.

I prefer the one on 40 because, like you said, more friendly and organized. Also seems a little bigger. Plus the raspberry mousse individual desserts in bakery case have more fresh raspberries on them.
Plus the route 40 one is about a half mile from my house. I'll go to the one on 7th if 40 is out of something or I'm goign to be on the other side of town.
