:hello8: My HH on 291 in Lee's Summit only doubled up to 2 like coupons last week. I've heard this being a rule, but it's just never happened to me. I don't mind, if that is going to be the consistent rule. The cashier was new, and he manually typed in the few coupons I had more than two of. He didn't just blindly scan them in, like they usually do. I asked up front, and they said, "it's a new rule, and they set up the computers to not take more than 2" (Which I knew wasn't the case b/c I watched him NOT double the coupons by manually doing it.)
So...anyway...just thought I would pass this along in case this becomes the rule at this HH.

It has been a rule at HenHouse... I'll find their policy that they posted Jan of last year... I know not all cashiers have stuck to it, but they have posted their rules... check the memo board next to customer service. They should have it posted.

Just out of curiosity what day where you there? I was there on Friday night and saw a lady with a huge binder full of coupons and 2 carts full of stuff. Could that have been you?

No, not me! :0 I rarely get 1/2 a cart at HH. I think I only had about 10 coupons that day. And only two of the items were "3 or more" like items.

Well darn. I was really curious about her. Just because she was buying so much and had so many coupons. I was wondering if they would allow here to double more than 2 like. I also wondered how much she paid in the end and how much she saved.

Before Christmas I called the Hen House on Blackbob and asked CS how many "like" coupons they will double in a transaction and she said they would double all of them. I haven't been back there til now and I had 3 different sets of 4 items and they all doubled. :)

I have never had any problems getting mine doubled, doing my regular routine of searching for teenage male cashiers, who are my personal favorite so I seek them out. I had no idea there was even a policy about a limit until last week, probably because of my normal shopping strategy.
My mom went to try and get her low sodium V8 last week and kindly asked the manager to help her reach them to load them in her cart. She was denied the opportunity to purchase more than two, causing me to make an extra trip out. I didn't drive all the way to HH though. I found a target .50 Q printable for V8 and match it with my MQ do the same deal there and get the same discount without the same hassle.
If HH makes it that difficult to shop there, I will just find my deals elsewhere!:hysterical:

UGH!! Happened to me too!! They told me that they are enforcing the coupon policy now to save time in the checkout lines. So, they don't care if you use more coupons, you just have to do more transactions and they ask that if there are people behind you that you get back in line after each transaction. It made checking out last about 30 minutes, and I was a little irritated, but it was worth it for all my free sour cream, cheap pillsbury, and free sobe. Now, I'll definitly only go for the great deals. Oh, and the store I went to was 64th Street in the northland.

Ha ha ha ha!!!! I think this was me that you are referencing to in this post! It was me and my mom that night and had like 2 grocery carts full of stuff. I think I had around $300 worth of stuff before coupons and then it got down to about $70 after coupons! :) I must say though, Hen House HATES me!! I go in there all the time and combine coupons with their sale items and sometimes it nearly pains them to let me walk out paying $.10 for a cup of sour cream or whatever! :)

That is too cool. I don't know if you remember me but I was standing in the cereal aisle getting oatmeal with my 5 year old daughter. That is soo funny. Did they double more than 2 multiple for you? Sometimes I can get away with it and sometimes I can't. Just wondering. So do you live in Lees Summit? I live in Independence.
