Catalina coupons are the coupons that print from that machine that prints coupons at the register at some stores (they are called register rewards at Walgreens, but catalinas everywhere else that does them.)

Sometimes you will get catalina coupons for specific products like $1.00 off Huggies wipes while sometimes you will get OYNO (Off your next order) catalinas and these are like cash.

They are tied to purchases however, so whenever a member gets wind of a catalina promotion they post about in this forum.

In this case, if you buy $14 worth of Kool-aid you will receive a $4.00 coupon good on your next order (you do not have to buy more kool-aid you can use that coupon on anything the store sells that is not prohibitted by the terms of the coupon)

You can also "roll" the catalina. Meaning you buy the required items, get the catalina, then buy more required items, get another catalina, and so on and so forth.

Catalina deals can be a great way for newbies to build a stockpile when they have little coupons yet.
