Butterball Turkey bacon is on sale for $1.00 this week. Right in front of it is a blinkie for 75 cents. Even though it starts with a 9 they doubled it up to the cost of the item so it is free (no overage). There is also a coupon listed in the database for $1.00 but I couldn't get it to print.

Have you tried this turkey bacon? I just threw out about 4 packs of Jenni-O TB b/c it was so nasty. We like the Louis Rich TB though.

Did the coupon automatically double to the price of the item or did the cashier have to double it manually? TIA!

It doubles in a funny way. If you buy 3 for example which would cost $3.00 it would double the first 2 coupons (75 cents x 2) and not even take the last coupon so you would get them all free. The register doubles them automatically.

I used the printable $1/1 coupon from the database and it wouldn't go through (self-scan). The cashier came over and put it through with no problem. She made the comment that they have been having trouble with this printable coupon.

This is why I love my Giant. The cashier don't look at you like you have five heads when you have stacks of coupons! They are always so nice about it...
