Yesterday, I was in Food Word trying to buy 2 Pillsbury Frostings and 2 Cake Mixes. I wanted to use 4 coupons for each order. They wanted me to use each coupon in a different transaction. Please someone give me a good way I can explain to less education people in couponing that purchase and transaction are two different things. Needless to say they made me so mad for being ignorant that I didn't get my Pillsbury.

mod edit: changed item to order

you are going to PURCHASE 4 in one TRANSACTION.

Sorry, this happens to all us of at some time. I go through this every few months at walmart, not too often at fw.
Very frustrating for you I am sure.

I normally ask for someone to help my situation like a manager.

I explain what a transaction is, and what a purchase is.

Ie...in your case I would say

"Can you help me? He/She/They are confused about the difference in a purchase and a transaction".

"I want to purchase 4 items in one transaction".

"It would be really inconvenient for me to purchase 100 items a month in here, all - 1 transaction at a time".

Tip,
Make sure your coupons don't say 1 per customer. I have misread a coupon before. OOPS, I was red!

I use the contact us form on www.food-world.com (http://www.food-world.com) for the stubborn employees that don't listen to reason.
