Thank you!!! My kids kept me busy today, and I am just now getting my list together for the week!
I TOTALLY missed the Captn Crunch cpn from 1/4, and would have missed the good price at Kuhn's. My kids will love you for posting that!!!! My cereal is getting stale in the cupboard, and I "never buy any good cereal now that I'm cheap and I only buy whatever coupons I have!" I will throw the mostly empty boxes out back for deer and rabbit food, and start over again!

The Special K waffles were not included. I'm not sure the exact price, but I think it was like $2.42. I was in there tonight, and I was surprised to see they were not out of the salsa, cereal, or waffles. I stocked up on cereal, and have to go back when I make some room in my freezer.

Ziploc Vacuum Starter Kits (it includes a pump and 3 bags) were on sale for $1.00 (there was a large display). I found $2 manufacturer's coupons there, as well.

I'm not sure if it's a weekly special or a promotion, but I think they're $3.99 regularily.

wow - I found a bunch of those q's at SNS - did they give you overage or adjust the coupon?

I bought five, and she gave me $1 overage on each one. I was NOT expecting that at all. The coupons kept beeping, but she kept keying in $2.

Do they usually give overage?

I will be going back next week for the filet mignon (anyone buy that before?) and some cheese - hopefully they'll still be one sale.

I stock up on their filet mignon when it is under $7.99 per lb. I don't think any other stores in the Pgh area have sales on filet like Kuhn's does. I think they are usually about 8 lbs per roast, and I usually call ask for 4 packs. They will slice two packs up for me into steaks for the grill, and I like the other two so I can cook those more like a piece of roast. These are great when you have company coming! Kuhn's will usually have this deal at least once a quarter, and sometimes every other month in Spring and Summer.

btw, which store, if you don't mind me asking?
I am planning on going tomorrow, and I'm frustrated, I can't find any quaker capn crunch cereal. I stocked up on it anyhow, but would like more........

Do they issue rain checks?

Thanks for the info on the filet. I showed the sale to DBF, and he's thinking steaks for the Steeler's game. The price looked excellent, but I wanted to make sure it was decent stuff. They have pretty good sale prices on produce and meat.

Yes, they will issue rainchecks, but they have gotten tougher on the dates, only giving you one week to get back in there. They are usually cleared of any good deals after about the third day, which is why I prefer Giant Eagle. I always seem to lose my rainchecks, they really don't work for me.
I do think they have great deals on meat!

That is very exciting. I'm glad that I could help you out, since you've been so generous to me.

Do you know if the sale on those ends today? I only got five the other day, but now I'm wishing that I would have picked up a few more. I just wanted to test the water, since I never shopped there before, and I wasn't sure if they limited quantities or how many qs you could use.

With the bad weather they're threating, there is little chance that I'm going to make it out there today.

There were no dates on the sale - so, I'm thinking they are just trying to get rid of them. Went back to SNS last night to look for more q's and they were all gone LOL.

I have never had them limit quantities except on rainchecks - usually 3 offers (I have one raincheck for 1 offer of steamfresh veggies and another for 3 offers (10 per offer)

I figured, even if I didn't get the overage, I'd get the item free and I needed to get home so I just went for them in one order.

I went Monday because I knew how bad the roads would be - last storm, I slid right thru their parking lot and then had the worst time trying to get out of that area because of all the freaking hills and no one salting or plowing.
