They repeat stuff in their adds.
You see on the front page for example that lean cuisine is 5/10, but then on like the 3 and maybe last pages, it says the same thing. Just overwhelms and confuses me.
I am bummed I used to love shopping here, but just dont like it as much anymore :(

CVS does the same thing in their ad. I don't like it either. And you know how I feel about the new East side store! Looks like I'm not the only one--I noticed someone had the same complaints about how difficult it is to navigate the store on the replies to Cub Foods' closings on the Press Gazette blog.
Looks like we're going to have to suck it up and get to like Copps now! Or maybe plan trips better so we can make the trek all the way over to Woodmans? Festival is OK once in a while, but they are pretty expensive if you don't shop the sales.

Yeah I know I like festivle and all, but needing to save money I dont all that much.
I used to LOVE copps, but lately they just dont have much in the way of deals. It sucks. You live on the east side too??
There is a copps in Madison that always has great coupons at the customer service desk.
OH however I have noticed, at least tuesday nights, that the copps over here has all their "on the box" coupons to pull off :)
IDK do you do woodmans much? It just seems like a really far drive! Or there is walmart (super)...what do you plan on?

I plan on living in denial for a few weeks, lol! I guess I'm going to try to stock up as much as I can before Cub closes.
Yes, I live on the far east side (out past UWGB), but I work on the near-east side, so I usually go grocery shopping on my way home from work. I think I'll scour the Copps ads more (their ad has gotten so big, it's overwhelming sometimes!), probably try to work deals at Festival a little more. I think I'll start making the trip to the Bellevue Copps more, though--I seriously do not like the one on Main St. (plus Target is right next door, so I'll have an excuse to go there more often, lol!) Woodmans is just too far, and I hate SuperWalmart, so unless I'm over in that neck of the woods, I don't plan on going to either of those. I guess I'll start hitting Aldi more, too. *sigh*

LOL i know what you mean about target, they have some good deals if you use the target coupons with mnfg. I will start doing that again too. (same with Copps and festivle) Just more work that Cub was LOL
I like that store better too...
I agree about walmart and woodmans.
I live over by Prebel so Cub was the best one for me.
We will after Cub closes have to keep in touch on the deals we find over here :)

:wavehi:Hey I also live in GB, but am not sure on which side. I am new to the area and just never decided to figure out what side is what. I agree about Copps ads, way to confusing. I have been told by my in-laws that Woodmans is really good on produce, but I think it's a little hard to run there. But I have been having trouble with Copps produce, going bad to quick. What about Cub foods, it's closing? Any other thought you both have on stores in this area would be an awesome help. I have been here 3 years and it's still new! Thanks

haha where do you live? what do you live by? sounds like you might be east side.
Cub is closing, but not for a few months, so get those deals while you can!
Produce I LOVE festivle for it. They may not have as many "deals" but they are a good store.
I am going to start scoping to see if they do in fact have deals and we just aren't finding em.
Copps used to have great deals, especially with double wednesdays, but just not seein em as much anymore....

I agree about the repetition in the Copps ads. They could probably print the whole ad on four pages if they didn't relist so much stuff.
I'm an east-sider and prefer Copps. I do make a Sam's trip about twice a month and hop over to Woodman's maybe once a month. Woodman's has good deals on snack crackers and they always have lots of peelies/display coupons. I also prefer woodman's produce. It doesn't look as fancy as copps/festival, but everything stays fresh longer -- I think it's because they don't have those sprayers that keep it wet (and add weight/cost).
