If you log onto acmemarkets.com under save you can enter your supercard number and it will show you some specials that are attached to your card. Say it shows .50 off 2 Dannon Light & Fit you would go in and get 2 yogurts and when you check out after they scan your card it automatically takes the .50 off. Sometimes these items match up well with sales/coupons. If the item is on sale, and it is offered as an item on your avenue, AND there is a manufacturer coupon out for it you can really save a lot on those items.

Hi, I'm Jen and I shop at the King of Prussia Acme. So far, my coupon experience has been great. They fully double and take IPs. Not sure if they have avenu or not. They used to have a machine, but then they took it away? I have printed out my deals the last few times, but haven't gotten anything, so I'm not sure yet.

Oh. Ooops. Wrong thread.
I am in Delaware County PA in the midst of a plethora of Acmes. Four I can walk to if I am so inclined. More within a reasonable radius. All fully double. All take IPs. All take Avenu though one or two will not recognize from time to time but CS is always helpful and will adjust.

Lisa-I live in Avondale PA, just 3 miles from the DE state line. So mostly I go to the Avondale Acme but sometimes errands take me down into DE so then I go to Lantana Square or Pike Creek. All 3 have Avenu and truly double, including overage, up to 0.99.
If you read my posts or my blog, you know I get lots of dirty looks and hassles from cashiers, but overall it's still worth it for the deals. Pike Creek is the best and friendliest, but it's also the farthest from me. Depending on the deals, DE also works out better because it's a no sales tax state.

Hi, I am Jodie, and I shop at the millville acme predominantly...but have been known to frequent vineland, bridgeton and even sewell and mays landing depending on which direction i am heading. I know that there is another die hard couponer(Christine) that hits the millville one...as well as 2 flea marketers and a few gas station owners....Thank fully i can order if i get the ad early enuf, and they will do it for me, as I always get the product.
As to the gal who shops at mays landing...the grocery mgr there used to be in vineland..his name is Bob and he is an awesome guy!!!
by the way..i work next door to the acme...for shoprite...LOL Same union!!

I'm Jenn and I shop mainly at the ACME in Lansdale, PA. I just found a new one (moved 1/2 hour 4 months ago) in New Britain and man are they much nicer there!!! I am slowly making that my "go to" ACME.
I know this may be a little off topic, but, Jodie (BusterBrown), which is better in your opinion, ACME or Shoprite? I just found out we are getting a Shoprite down the street real soon!!

I am an Acme employee and shop both. I prefer Acme meat and produce and well all grocery stuff depends on $$$$. IMO "the new Acme" is all about custumer service and shoprite is all about people thinking it's the cheapest place to go. JMO thought.

there are pros and cons to both...alot will depend on who the owner is of the shoprite(we are a franchise/coop)....The deals tend to me more plentiful at shoprite, but the coupon policy tends to be better at acme. Generally there are 5-10 deals that make me go...hmm about at acme. Shoprite almost always has more deals. As to the quality of meat/produce..I tend to shop shoprite here, as the acme is much less traveled, thus less turnaround on the items...it may be totally different in other areas. Lancaster Brand meats have always had a great reputation. Do not get too excited if you see triples etc on the shoprite board-they tend to be a north jersey thing, as are dollar doubles. Most down this way are a limit 4 like, doubling .50 to 1.00, .75 to 1.00.
I would love to see more opinions on this...Pookie..which shoprite do you shop at?

Sometime in August, it was the last day of one of the GM $5 BTFE deals, there were two supercouponers at Avondale. One had a printout from a diff website, I don't remember which one, that she was matching up to coupons. The other one didn't. I was wondering if either of those moms was someone from here.
But I don't often see many people with oodles of coupons at any of the stores I go to.

haha, that *may* have been me. I rarely print out a list but I think I did in August for BC items. Now, if you see me, I will have a pin k case it. I finally had to bite the bullet and buy a new one. The metal rings on my old one literally fell out of the case lol. I hit Lantana and Glen Mills as much as I can.
However, I had a good experience with Avondale's manager tonight. he was really friendly to our family. Props to Rich Simpson.
~~Who,Me?~~
10-02-2010, 04:09:59 AM
See, my next door neighbor works the desk at Lantana, so I rarely go there. I just feel funny, I mean, I'm never doing anything wrong/illegal, but if a cat doesn't print or I need to return the items, I just don't want to go to her, kwim?
So for the most part I stick with Avondale. If there is something else to be had at either Target or Kmart, then I go to Glen Mills or Pike Creek.

Ok, so now I know who to yell at if something is out of stock. :hysterical:
Yet another Karen here! I typically shop at the Clifton Heights Acme, but also frequent the Lansdowne (Bond Shopping Center) Acme or the Broomall Lawrence Park Acme. Thankfully, all are great stores, double Qs to $.99, no limit, and have Avenu. Typically get good CS at all 3 stores, too. In fact, just today at the SCO, the cashier helping me scan Qs was THRILLED that my total ended up hitting $0. Gotta love that!
Hope to see some of my fellow DelCo HCW buddies at Acme sometime! :wavehi:

Still in Fairview Village/Jeffersonville, Pa!
Still shop at the Acme listed on Main Street just outside Norristown.
(they are calling it the Trooper store in the threads)
they fully double & are very nice :)
fyi~ Unfortunately they have been having coupon fraud issues this past summer so they recently put tape over the SC slots.
Twice in the past year we hit the Kop store and they were very nice as well.
