Thanks,
Has anyone tried the Healthy Choice Mixers? They are 2/$6, and I think there were $1 cpns out recently. So, buy 4/12, get $3 off, plus $4 off, making it 4/$5 right????
I have to stock up on going back to college food, and I have to say, this site allows me to try SO many things I would never have bought in the past. My kids love it!!!!
Is my math correct?

I hope so! I've had mixed results with this. I think if I hand them the card at the end it goes by shelf price, but I'm not sure. I think the shelf price for the mixers is around $3.79.

The theory I've heard, and I think it's right - is if the ad says 'Save X.XX with GE card" it'll go by shelf price. If it just says 'Save with GE Card' - then it goes by sale price.

I've never tried the mixers but my son loves them. I bought him a bunch when they had the HC deal last year and GE had $1/1 q's for them. He tried them all and liked them all.
Oh, and the best part about them. . . . . . . . . they don't require freezer space LOL

Sounds like if Neekyme's theory is correct, shelf price may work? I will try to get out Thurs and see. My store is good at letting me return if I didn't get a cat for it.

If the "Dole Fruit Jars" on the front page are the "Dole All Natural Fruit Jars," then this could be a possibility:
2.00 Dole Fruit Jars
-1.50 MQ (75/1 Doubled, 112608 All You, x013109, pg169)
------
.50 oop
nicc_43968

There are .75/1 printables for the Fiber One toaster pastries, and the Kelloggs Fiber Plus bars.
It would make the Kelloggs .50 each AC
and the Fiber One toaster pastries 4 for $3 AC and instant savings
Also Nestle creamers are 2 for 3, that would be .50 each after .50/1 tearpad coupon or 1-4-09 SS
The printable links are suppressed in database, but if you use your spidey senses, they are at a real commom printable site. cxxxxxx.com:whistle67:

unfortunately no - the only way you could use your coupon is if the register took the savings off (like the powerade).

Run to the GE site and add the Johnsonville Breakfast Sausage eoffer! LOL
They are on sale, 2/7$. There is a 5$/any 4 Johnsonville Sausage coupon in this coming Sunday's paper.
So if you would be 4 for 14$ - 5$mq = 9$ - 3$(75c*4) = 4/6$
I've never had a problem with the eoffer's not taking off the coupon amount for each item in a transaction....so I guess you could buy more than 4 if you really wanted to :-) For that price, even though we're not huge sausage eaters...I might pick up some. I like having something different in the freezer sometimes!
Oh, and has anyone else noticed the lack of eoffers lately? The Johnsonville one is the only eoffer I have, and the only one my mom has on her's too....
Please, please, please let them be doing something different...like going with shortcuts.com or something!

I just now got an email from South Beach Living with coupons. Looks like they could be used for the South Beach Living bars on sale for 4/$10
They are $2 off any ONE South Beach Living snack bar delights, high protien cereal bars or fiber fit granola bars.
The ad says South Beach bars so I assume one of these coupons would work.
So, more bars for .50 cents a box.
Here is the link, not sure if its just for me or anyone can use it. Hope I can post this and it works.

FYI - the Print limit on these are way more than the usual 2 you get with bricks coupons :-)
And, it prints out 2 coupons - 2$ off SBL Fiber Fit Granola bars, High Protein Cereal bars, or 100 calorie pack snack bars ANd 2$ off any SBL Meal Bars 6ct+, Snack Bar Delights, or Snack Pack delights.
And the expiration isn't until 06/30/09. Might want to print them out now before they fix the print limit or it reaches the number of max prints for the campaign!

Of course I offered him life and limb and my first born to tell me and he wouldn't say another word. Just that it's going to be big and couponers would be happy.

And since the free dixie napkins a while ago, we havent been going through as many. I think I have 12 or 24 rolls left in the shed. But if I can find more cheap, I'm all about buying them LOL

since my ohio catalina announcement says that it ended the 7th and Pittsburgh24's freezer case still has a sign stating it goes till the end of the month....
I am betting that it's still going on in PA, and we in OHIO get shafted again...

Because my GE didn't have any of the coupons, they reduced the price to $1.99. I had some $1.50 MFC from my newspaper, so they were .49 cents a bottle.
Not sure if other stores did this, but it's a great deal on a good product. HTH.

Does anyone know if GE carries Viva Big Roll? There's a 75c off any 1 Viva Towels Big Roll in this coming sunday's SS...and I'm wondering if it would be a good coupon or not. I'm down to 2 packs of paper towels (oh the horror! lol)
My Walmart carries the Viva for $1 a roll. I bought a ton the last time this q was out as these are the only kind of paper towels we use.

I only bought the Fresh Mixers and the Cafe Steamers, but they were both going by shelf price. 3 Fresh Mixers - three 1$ mqs= 6$ and got the 3$ oyno cat. The Cafe Steamers are all 4.29 shelf price.

Do they carry the Viva "Big" rolls for $1? If I'm not mistaken in the past there have been coupons that said on any Viva rolls. The one in this Sunday's paper says on any Viva "Big" rolls. I thought they were more than $1 at Walmart if they even carry them. Thanks.

I bought a lot of the HC Fresh Mixers today, and noticed the small bottles of Act Mouthwashes were on sale for $2.79 - 1.00q. Also picked up the Iams dog food for $5.99 - 3.00q, and a 12 pack of Ragu for $12. (There may be some cpns, and I'll stock up on more if they'll allow qs on that.)
What are the HC steamers? Are these any good?
Thanks.

I heard that the kleenex lotion cubes are on sale for 1.18 so with the .40 q they would be .38. I have not checked it out yet for my area but thought I'd pass it along!

I was just coming to post that :) They are $1.18 on extended price reduction until 1/21
Also I noticed the Viva Big Roll for I'm pretty sure $2.19 (regular price, New! sticker). So $2.19 - .75x2 = .69

Yeah, I almost bought the Kleenex the other day - but I might hold off and see if anywhere else has a good deal on them LOL I did use a couple of my q's at RA today - so I'm glad I didnt go hogwild and buy a buggy of kleenex at GE :-) Thanks Mdd for posting the Viva price - I looked at it and remembered thinking that was too much - but couldn't remember the price after I got home. I got some at RA too today and spent way less after coupons and rebates :-)

Today I bought the small bottles of Frank's Hot Sauce.
They are 2 for $2 regular price and I had .50/1 coupons. ==FREE
Also, did the Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers-bought 3 at shelf price of $3.49(I think). Used 3 $1 off q's and got my $3 oyno.
One thing I messed up on is the Post Cocoa Pebbles--I couldn't remember Wal-Marts price so I bought them for $2.50 a box--Wal-Mart has them for $1.98 a box....I hope this helps someone not make the same mistake!

Back in December, I ran into a guy who works for GE corporate. My husband knew him and my husband started to tell him how I coupon a lot. Well this man said, if you like to coupon, you are going to like GE, we have something big coming up.
Of course I offered him life and limb and my first born to tell me and he wouldn't say another word. Just that it's going to be big and couponers would be happy.
So hopefully he wasn't just blowing smoke!
Even if they just decided to double up to $1 instead of 0.99 - that would be awesome.

My understanding is they are starting a new program called FoodPerks. It is similar to Fuelperks, but instead you receive a discount on your grocery bill for every so many gallons of gas you fill up with at GetGo. I believe the max discount is 20%. It has been launched in the Columbus area as a test market back in December I think. It is supposed to make its way to all stores shortly. Google FoodPerks Giant Eagle - it will take you to a link on GE's website and several articles on the program.

Thanks.
They take up a HUGE amount of space in the freezer but they are good - I buy them for my son and my sister. My son did NOT like the bourbon ones LOL. I'll be picking up a lot of them today and tomorrow - my sister has a ton of freezer space and I'm giving them to her for her birthday LOL (she works weird shifts and the meals come in handy for her lunch breaks). My friend sent me a bunch of $1/2 cafe steamer q's (we didn't get them) so, 2 steamers and 1 mixer - $8.50 minus $2 and $3 cat - $3.50 for 3. I'm going to use the $1/1 printables for the paninis and other meals since they don't seem to have any q's out.

They will have both programs and what I hear is that even if you fill up with a free tank due to the FuelPerks, those gallons will still apply to FoodPerks. Also, the after FoodPerks discount OOP will be what the Fuelperks will be based on. So if you spent $100.00, received a 20% discount from FoodPerks, you would receive the FuelPerks on the remaining $80.00 (which would only be $.10/gallon with $30.00 toward the next $.10) HTH!

foodperks would be great if someone doesn't have a good place to go for gas. My DH has been goin to sheetz and using our sheetz bonus card, plus using it for paying for newspapers. i think the papers are 10pts per dollar you spent and gas is 15pts. once you reach 7500 i get .10cents off a gallon.
Feulperks is soooo hard to rank up. i have .70cents off now..and that took me foreverrrr! so we only make the trip when that gets high like once every twomonths...foodperks won't really rank up that much for me :(
i was hoping they do something with GE it self..not getgo :( like earning feulperks on the money spend BEFORE coupons! won't that be great! my sister's store in PA does that martins i believe its called. they also have promo's like buying 5 of these items and get .20cents more off a gallon! thats what i would like GE to do :)
thanx for letting us now! ill tell my family who uses getgo alll the time!
ETA: oh and one question. what if the person does transactions for 2 or 5dollars worth? is that 20percent we ranked up at getgo goin to come off of that?
or do you have to spend 100dollars or more in ONE transaction? lol something to ponder. My inlaws won't have a problem when that..they just laughed at me yesterday for doin TWO transactions which is my norm. hey gotta use the cat :)

I rack up alot of extra FuelPerks by purchasing gift cards to other stores through GE. If I know the kids need clothes, I buy a $50 Kohl's card, get the $.20 bonus perks. If I am doing home remodeling, off to GE I go for Home Depot Cards. Out to dinner? GE again for a TGIF or whatever card... I think I have $3.43 in FuelPerks right now that is after a fill up today and a fill up last week. (Left over from Christmas Gift Cards - which was great because I do my Dad's and some of Sister's shopping for them, so it's even more FuelPerks!)
The Foodperks is supposed to work like FuelPerks where you can choose when to apply your discount. It is also supposed to all be on one card so you won't have to carry two around.

also when we eat out its either sheetz or perkins lol no giftcards!

My experience with the stores for which I've bought gift cards has been just the opposite. We've bought gift cards for stores that are adjacent to GE and use the cards immediately (within 10 mins.) with no problems. I didn't even know about a 24 hour waiting period. But I also always keep my activation receipts until I use the cards. Is this 24-hour period advisable for certain stores?

I tried to use a gift card at Sears last Christmas 15 min after bought would not work. Went back in hour still didn,t work was told about 24 hour waiting. I think it took longer to activate because of so many people buying around Christmas. But they usually work right away.

GE cards are activated immediately. The GC's for other retailers may be a YMMV, but in general the wait si 24hrs. Although, GE opened Black Friday @ 12am (midnight) and announced a no wait activation period so people could buy their GC's that night and then use them for the Black Friday EBSpecials. Thought that was interesting...makes me wonder how long the activation period really is! I typically buy mine a few days before I shop anyway so the wait doesn't affect me much.

Toys r us is another one I think that has the 24 hour wait - even if you buy them at ToysRus you have to wait 24 hours...I hate that store though lol
Kohls would be nice....if I could buy one with my kohls card LOL But next time my mom or DH gives me $$ for birthday/holiday that might be a good one to get - because I usually end up spending the cash gifts I get there. It's the only place I can walk out with a huge bag of stuff 'just for me' and not feel guilty about the amount I spent on it!
