I love our new Aldi's but I notice when I go that they usually have discounted meat and produce from time to time. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a certain day of the week that they discount it or if it is just as needed. I would love to be there the day they discount their meat (sounds funny when you say it that way):hysterical:.

At ours it seems to be on as needed basis, when they have overstock or something close to going bad. I have bought celery one sunday night for .25 because they had too many and the leaves were turning yellow.
I heard someone say theirs had a sign on the door that all hams were $5 off etc.

I agree that it depends on what they have overstocked... I have gotten hams for 5-10 dollars off, marked down breads, meats, veggies, etc.

I have been getting bread and dairy on mark down as well as meat.
