Found Blinkie
Kraft or Polly-O 2% Milk Natural Cheese 75/1 ex 2/28/09 starts with a 5
( Shreds, Chunk,String, Cubes or Slices)
the cashier has to enter price of coupon because it ends with a double zero for some reason. So its ymmv on this one to double or not.
Still a great price for cheese
Went to get some ground meat and found that the bogo roasts that are on sale are cheaper. They will end up 2.50 pound compared to 3.50 for ground meat. I am going to spend my 3.00 catalina's
I am going to have the butcher grind these up for ground meat. These are 95% fat free.
I didn't have time to do the catalina deal and the butcher wasnt' grinding today. :whistle67: That doesnt' sound good.

LOL Yes and he will do it for you too. Just ask.
I asked how they would package it and price it. He said they would combine the 2 packages together and price for one.
It only takes a second to grind.
So if you find other boneless cuts cheap or marked down ask to have them ground.
I like the 80/20. tastes better for burgers.
DH likes lean meat and he's the cook. So that what we get.
I usually get a cow butchered, but we have to wait for one. 1.59lb
So when I went to buy some ground meat, boy was I shocked at the price.

The Hot Pockets is shelf price, as is the Juicy Juice.
The shelf prices are as followed - least to most different than sale price
Carnation Instant Breakfast sale $5.00/shelf 5.39
Juicy Juice $2.50 sale/ $2.75 shelf
Lean Pocket $2.00 sale/ $2.50 shelf
Nestles hot cocoa $1.00 sale/$1.80 shelf
Lean Cuisine $2.00 sale / $3.79 shelf (there are a variety of prices shelf and sale -extremely confusing...was not in the mood to think when I was there)

I get my inserts on Monday nights, I typed up the whole 5 inserts coming this Sunday (1/4) - they are in the coupon section here.
Taylortown preview is nice, but they often get different values and different coupons then we do in the Pittsburgh area. Mine are from the PPG.
I'll grab the direct link to the coupon typeup and post it here in a bit :-)

But this week was too exciting - I stayed up until 4:30 and typed up the 2 RPs, and then finished the other 3 SSs in the morning. I think it took 3 hours or so to type them all up LOL Trendy - no Speedstick in our papers :-( PB - I googled around last night - and I was shocked at how many places copied/pasted the list I typed up! I just recently talked to my guy and started getting the inserts early - but yeah, I try to spend Tuesday typing it up and posting the list. I'll make sure to post them here in the coupon forum so long as no one else has them posted. I was thinking of doing them as a google doc spread sheet too. I'm trying to figure out the quickest way to post them in the easiest to read way. (value first? product first? how to write exp. date? blah blah blah)
Oh...I have four of the 4$ maybelline lip coupons left - trying to figure out if RA's buy one get one half off deal is the best way to go, But maybe I'll talk DH into watching the kiddos for a bit so I can check out GE's prices. All of mine from SNS have doubled. They did have to scan it then type .75 for each one but since they scan first the 5 makes it double automatically. I have gotten over 30 packs of cheese lol ( not all in one trip)

Does anyone know if the Lean Cuisine's are any good? I have my oyno cats that I could use on these, but if my husband doesn't like them it might be a waste.
Maybe they have some gluten free ones?? That would be great!
Here's my plan, in case it will help anyone else:
buy 4 lean cuisines for $8
they should ring up as $15.16 for the cat (shelf price)
use 4 $2 oyno's
get a $4 oyno cat
I can do this 4 times. Then I'll have 16 lean cuisines and $16 oyno's. I guess I could then use them to keep doing it? But I think if I did my cat's would decrease until I had none.
I've never rolled cats before-ever. (Well I did try at CVS but messed it up :)
Does anyone see a flaw in my plan?
And does anyone know if I have to do separate transactions? IOW if I do one transaction with $30 worth of lean cuisine's will I get 2 $4 oyno's or just one?
Thank-you!

If you do the Lean Cuisine - DONT do what I did tonite. I should know better than go deal shopping when I have a migraine hangover, I'm dumber than an ox for several hours even though my head feels better.
Make sure you get the ones that are 3.79 NOT the 2.79 ones. I screwed up 2 transactions because only half of the ones I grabbed were 3.79, the other two or 3 were 2.79 regularly. So I was 2$ short on both of the deals. I could kick myself. grrr
But I did manage to find a deal, there is a 3$ off any KY product coming out tomorrow, and my store has the Warming Massage/Lubricant on clearance (smaller bottle) for 3.19

Ahh...thought they were regular blinkies. Guess I need to go to SNS & get some, then. Save me a few, boycrew!
Ran over to our SNS, none left just an empty box:sad:.
But don't fear. Our GE had the ones that started w/5.
I found some further down the road too:wink7:

anyone else stocking up on the cheese?
Mmm, YES! We'd just run out of cheddar & moz & mexican blend. . .
At $1/lb for kraft cheese, and considering cheese is pretty much a food group of its own in our home. . .
I'm at 36lb and counting. . . Pretty much have both freezers full at this point with the recent deals on breyer's icecream, froz pizza, B&J icecream. . . and now the cheese.
I might have to go get a few more bags just because I can but not more than another 5 lb or so will squeeze into the freezers.
What an amazing price! Ty all SO MUCH for the heads up on the blinkie. I love HCW! When you take the time to point others to a great deal, you're giving such a gift! This site has made such a HUGE difference to our household budget! Wow!

Darn, I don't think we have a Shop N Save, but I still think it was a great deal on cheese with the DND 9 blinkies. I think it was cheaper than I usually pay for it at Wal-Mart.

I did the lean cuisine and the nestle hot chocolate today and answered a few of my questions :)
Our store didn't have lean cuisine shelf price $3.79--they were $3.00 (I couldn't find anything more expensive than that) . I bought 5, used 5 $2 oyno cats and got a $4 oyno printed.
I bought a ton of nestle hot chocolate. Shelf price is $1.80, so I bought 18. I had to separate the transactions. If I would have put them together I would have only gotten one $4 oyno to print at the end; this way I got two. (The nice lady bagging the groceries told me.) I didn't have any coupons, but I drink a cup of this stuff every night! And winter has just begun, so I knew we would spend the money sometime.
Oh, and I got the free colgate. And YES! They do have gluten free lean cuisines! My kids are having them for supper tonight, so I don't know yet if they are any good.
Thank-you to everyone for the great tips!

Has anyone bought 10 of the boxed Betty Crocker potatoes? Are they still tripping the bonus box tops??
Since everyone is owning up to a little riskayy coupon retrival, for a couple years I moonlighted third shift on the weekends at a convenient store to help pay kids college tuition, and the pit post delivery was a girl, so I made friends, and she gave me her extras, wasnt many. But I did talk sweet to the Vindy delivery guy :whistle67:and he would leave me 1-4 BUNDLES of inserts!!! Their coupons aren't as good as Pit, if they were I would have never quit that job!!!

I don't know how to do a link, but there is a new printable for hamburger helper out. I found it in the coupon database. It's .80/3, so if it doubles that's an even better deal than what I used ($1/3)
flaminicecube
01-05-2009, 02:57:58 PM
The HH cpn for 80/3 is coded as if you need to buy one and it will only double for the remaining price of free for one ($1-80 cent cpn-20 doubled=1 free). You need to understand that and be prepared to tell the cashier/mgr that it did not double correctly.
I understand coding should not be discussed but understanding coding and how it differs from the wording is knowledge when it comes to doubling at GE. Just don't try to explain the coding to employees at GE. Keep it at the wording which is 80/3 which should double(per words) to 1.60/3 or OOP 1.40/3.

Shop n save too. A while back shop n save had some clearance HH. It was .60 cent a box. I bought 3 boxes so after my 75/3 i should of only paid .30 cents. well the coupon only doubled up tp 1.20. They fixed it but told me the reason it did was the coupon was only coded for 2 boxes. so here i am doing it right by buying what the coupon stated but had to go thru the hassle of getting the full amount :(

LOL I blew my favorite cashier away tonite with my total :-) He was bagging, but told me to come through that line so he could see my savings...Here's what I got:
10 Colgate toothbrushes
9 Tubes of Colgate
2 Eggos 16ct
4 Kraft cheese slices
8 Back to Nature cookies
10 bags of Luden's cough drops
Baby carrots
2 Idahoan Potatoes
1 BC Potato
My total went from close to 70$ down to 9.50...and I saved 100.55 with sales and coupons LOL My fave cashier wanted to photocopy the receipt!
I have no idea how it went so low though...the cookies should have been 1.10 each I think, the cheese would have been 1.25 each, Idahoan's 20 cents, BC taters 30 cents, carrots 1.50, and the eggos 1.50 each...everything else free I gotta go check my receipt - coz I'm baffled at the total!
I think it was the cheese...WTH? I dunno...Is something weird going on with the 2% American cheese I didn't know about? coz seriously...it looks like they were free and I got 1.50 off with the coupons that I though wouldn't double coz they start w/ a 9. Whatever it was...I think I'll go back tomorrow and try it again LOL Or so suggests my DH :-)

of course that means i equaled out.
