Be on the look out for Kellogg's cereals to be marked down. The store I visited today was marking down Rice Krispies, Corn Pops, Crispix and Frosted Wheat (didn't get exact type, just plain no flavoring). The price will be $1.59/box and the merchandiser was there placing $1/1 peelies on the boxes.
.59/box isn't a bad price. The food pantry will be thrilled.

Holy Moly! Shopping at Kroger on US 64 today, on the clearance rack were five of the Finish Quantamatic dishwashing systems marked at $3.99 (regularly $7.99). I had a bunch of $3/1 coupons so I picked up all five of them.

So check your Krogers! These systems come with a 12 use cartridge so it makes it pretty cheap to use and if the cartridges ever go on sale and we have coupons it might be worth using these things :hysterical:

I'm sorry folks! You know the aisle that has seasonal items? That was where I found them. I didn't bother to check the regular aisle they would be found in. My guess is it's 'aged' stock, they do a lot of that. Even if it's a current item, if it's been on the shelf for a certain length of time, they clearance the items to keep rolling old stock out.

I am sharing these with others though, if that makes you feel better :wink7: My daughter will get one, my neighbor will get one too and the others are just going to stash until/unless I can find someone else who could benefit from it, like my son's friend (early 20's male - goodness knows they need help in the cleaning area :giggle2:)

He was over here tonight and apparently (I wasn't here) my son's friend was overwhelmed with the stash we had and said to my husband, "I'm serious! I need to give her $100 and let her stock my place!" Too funny, but I would be happy to find deals for him - better they learn young

Don't worry about it! I would have taken all 5 too...and I wouldn't have even given them away.
5 of them with 12 washes each = 60 washes = less than 6 weeks for me.

Bless your heart! I run my dishwasher about once every two days, just not enough dishes produced by two of us, sometimes three here.

I hope they work well - I figured it was worth the try at 99 cents each though - can't be that bad :wink7:

New update! The Kroger up on 64 in Cary/Apex area has them in a clearance basket at the front of the store (just near registers) for $2.00 - free after $3 coupon!

What a deal
