There is the $2/4Cool Whip in a Can sale, use the .75 coupon doubled = .50. Not free but not bad either! I am making up a little basket of 2 boxes of Swiss Miss Cocoa (free), a holiday mug (.25 last year), 4 free Lindt Bars, some homemade cookies (ok, Betty Crocker helped!) and a can of the Cool Whip (.50)! Not a bad little gift for under a dollar!

That's a great gift idea. I'm new at this - but I will be much more prepared next year to give those kinds of Christmas gifts! Thanks for the idea!

That is a great idea! I have a ton of free glade to give away... I'm wondering if candles and chocolates are "enough" for our gift bags.

I always wander too if my "free" gifts are enough... I have to stop and remind myself that it is the thought that counts, plus the economy is really bad right now so I think any gesture is well received.
I am going to try and post a picture of my three baskets (if I can figure out how to do it!). I have the cocoa one, chocolate one and glade one. I put the Glade Apple Cin. Wisp, an Apple Cin. candle, an air freshener plug in and spray air freshener. I also had to green votives that I might tuck in for fillers. It was really cheap w/Kmart doubles and Target I think under a dollar for this one too.
I use baskets from St. Vincent Depaul or the Thrift Store. If needed, I spray paint them to give them an added boost.

Does anyone know if kids Colgate toothpaste is included in the sale? Also, do the varieties match with the current coupons to make them free?

I got 7 boxes yesterday too LOL I completely forgot I asked this question haha Both the 80 (in the square box) and the 120 (in the regular rectangle box) are on sale. I was shocked they had the bigger size for the same price! I already put a couple aside for my DS's teachers gift baskets :-) I have a ton of Kleenex...but I've never got such a good deal on the kind with lotion before! I was shocked!
Have I mentioned how much I'm lovin' GE lately? LOL

Did anyone do the Rice Krispies deal with the free Poptarts? I was going to make marshmallow treats for some Christmas parties, and thought that with the q's for the Rice Krispies it would be a good deal.....
Then I noticed the ad says the Rice Krispies are 9 oz, and the coupons say $1/1 on a 10 oz. box! Does this mean I can't use them??? Has anyone tried it yet?

If the coupon specifies a minimum size, it would be unethical to use it on a smaller box.

Betty Crocker pouch potatoes are on EPR through 12/24 for 4/$3. The .35 q from 11/16 or 12/14 SS makes them .05. Also, they had q's taped on keebler crackers and zesta's on an endcap. The zestas are 5/10 and there was a .50 or .55 q on them, so $1. Hope that helps someone!

I found some Rhodes' frozen cinnamon rolls today on clearance for $1.99- these were for 12 rolls in a bag (not in the tins- they are 6 rolls, on sale for $4.00 each!) With the coupon from Sunday's paper for $0.75/1, it made the bag $0.50! Hope this helps someone.

I posted this in the January Bonus BTFE thread, but thought I better mention it here too- I sent DH up to get cheap BC Potato Pouches and some other little things, but he thinks that after he scanned 10 of the potatoes a 30 Bonus BTFE cat spit out. I can't think of anything else we got that would have prompted it. (5 boxes of Mrs. T's perogies, buns, butter...I don't think any of that or anything else has boxtops...so it has to be the potatoes.)

Extended price reduction - it's not an advertised sale usually, just one from a previous week that is still going on.
