The manager of the a store in SC makes up coupon policies - so watch out! He refused to let me use 4 winetags for beef saying it say 1 coupon per purchase, which is correct but I said that did not mean 1 coupon per transaction.
He still refused, so I said that I would do seperate transactions. His exact words were I won't allow you to do it.
I was soo mad so I left the DM a message, maybe I'll hear from him today.
Just a warning - heads up!

I try to use the self check as much as possible. Even with a big cart of stuff. The cashier doesn't usually question the coupons.

That sounds like our Bi-Lo that USED to be here (Lexington NC.) It is now no longer here.

The DM contacted me today and said I was right:BigHand: The manager said he was confused on the policy but is now aware of how it works! The DM is also sending me a GC for the misunderstanding.

That sounded like the one in TR, he tried to pull that on me too.

That is good they are trying to make it right. A lot of store would have given you an apology and no GC.

One of the managers in Fountain Inn SC is also horrible about coupons. She makes no secret of the fact that she hates them.

I have to say I have NEVER had problems with any of the managers at the TR Bi-lo. The kids that work there never even look at my coupons. As long as they scan, they don't care.

That totally sucks! at least the dm is nice and wants things done correctly! I LOVE the bilo on main in Spartanburg they always have GREAT clearance stuff and they love to see how much i can get for how little!

I like my Bi-Lo in Hartsville, SC. But it's small, no pharmacy, no self check-outs, etc. But I have never had a problem with them taking coupons. I have had recurring problems with out of date yogurt and cheese being left on the shelf, so I check the dates religously. I have also had problems, when purchasing items that are discontinued/damaged and they have the red bi-lo instant discount coupons on them, that the cashier doesn't see the red coupons, so they are still on the items when I get home. Then I have to come back and bring the item with the coupons still attached, and they give me my money back. It's just a wasted trip back to the store. I try to watch during check-out like a hawk these days. But I like our Bi-Lo and shop there each week.
