5lb Domino Sugar

Just thought I would point out the 5lb of Domino Sugar is on sale for $1.99 and if you use the $0.50 Q's from a previous insert(not sure which one)you end up paying $.99 for the 5lbs. I thought this was a pretty good deal.

Bought some at publix today for the same price. I love it we go through a ton of sugar. I also read on here that sugar was to have a price increase so now is the time to buy.

hmmm, do you guys know if there is an ip for this? I looked a little but didn't see much. I dont have much $ but want to stock up on this and pasta and flour as well!

I had posted on another thread about sugar prices going up. I am thinking that may be different now that the price of gas is going down. Part of the reason for the sugar price going up WAS because brazil was using thier sugar for fuel (ethenol) but now that the price of gas is down world wide that might not be the case. Flour will most likely go up but sugar is doubtful.

I have notice the price of flour has gone up and there doesn't seem to be any good coupons either, but sugar on the other hand seems to have stayed the same and there are lots of coupons in the sunday paper. Seems like very couple of weeks there is a coupon for it.

Buy Sugar now because it is a good price, but not because it is going to go up as a whole. Now is baking time so there will be good sales on sugar into December.

For some reason I bought 2 bags of sugar. We don't use sugar really. This will probally last me 10 years. I just tossed out a partial bag that we've had for who knows how long. At least it was cheap!
