View Full Version : What is the RSS link for sub-forums and threads?

I found this about RSS links in the FAQ:
http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=XXX (XXX being the forum ID)

But this forum has a different kind of links. There's a number in the 'friendly' links, and I tried plugging that in, but it didn't work.

I check Google Reader numerous times/day, but unless I just signed up for an account somewhere, I might go a few days before checking email. There's a few threads here I'd love to enter into my Google reader.

I was able to see this general newsfeed: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/external.php?type=RSS2
But it seems to cover everything, and as a newb, it's too overwhelming for me. I'd like to sub to Kroger, CVS, and WAG sub-forums if I could. Maybe if someone could tell me where to find the forum IDs, I could plug those into the URL above.

I searched for the answer, but I was told my search terms were too vague. Thanks.

I discovered the answer myself: Firefox's RSS icon in the navigation bar drops down when clicked on (if there's more than one newsfeed on the current site).

With HCW, there's the main RSS for everything, then under it is the RSS for the sub-forum we're currently in. Yay, now I can get new threads in Google Reader, whew!
