Ice cream should be pretty cheap to with the .55 coupons, and $3 OYNO.
I'm not sure of the shelf price of the Breyers, but here's what I'm thinking.

2 Breyers- 6.67
2 Knorr-2.50
=9.17
-.55
-.55
-.75
-3.00 cat=2.47 for two ice cream and two noodles!
I hope my math is correct, but it may not be lol.

This was an issue last year - where I live there is very little in the way of true competition - so we get screwed. BUT, I gave it back to them last year, I brought an online copy of a GE ad with a lower price and got them to match it. This kinda set off a mini-firestorm in the area I live in and surrounding areas. Word spread on a local board and everyone tried it - some were successful and some were not.

Maybe we'll try it agian....:whistle67:

TIA!

I have several $10 cats from the Best Buy gc deal and I rolled several Sears gc cats ($5) into the duracell deal - I'll use one of each of them with a muir glen $3 cat and a coupon from Smart source - I'll have at least $18 in cats and the $1 coupon for each turkey.

I'm really hoping they have the sugardale hams on sale too - I have a $2 q for those - so, I'll use the $18 in cats and the $2 q - so, $20 off a ham.

Alagio Hair Care is BOGO and there is a MIR for full refund up to 6.99. Now this is where it kinda stinks that GE rings bogos up half price. But....You could still get one half price and get the MIR. (or buy 2 and send another rebate in for a different address LOL) Here's the info page where you can get the form: Alagio Try Me For Free! (http://www.alagio.com/trymeforfree.html)

Oh, here's another one - Got2B stuff is BOGO and there are 2$ off 1 coupons in the Beauty Handbook (found at CVS or Rite Aid for 99c) - which would make them about 60 cents each.

If you don't give your Advantage card until the end of your transaction, the full price shows up on the receipt (where you would circle) and then adjusts to the sale price at the end. I'm just sayin' :whistle67:

I have a question. I went to GE last night and used an .80/3 hamburger helper q. They were 10/10. Anyways, when I checked out (self checkout) the coupon only doubled .20, equalling the price of 1 item. Is this new to GE, or have I just missed it before?
Thanks!

I have that problem lately. When a coupon is on multiple items, it seems that the q will only double up to the price of one item. It really is frustrating!

Was it an '.80 off of 1 multi pack or 3 singles'? That could have been the problem.

It is because of the coupon coding... If you take your receipt to CS they should refund the difference.

I think it has something to do with the coding for that q - I never have a problem with the .75/3 but that q seems to double for only 1 hamburger helper. I have this problem at all SNS and the cashier has to override the q's (in particular the campbell's q's) which always double to $1.50 at GE automatically

Thanks everyone! I didn't think that had happened to me b4. I feel bad going to CS again though. They've seen a lot of me lately. They just had to refund me almost $11 because the young cashier completely messed up every one of my coupons the last time I was there. And b4 that, they had to refund me for a coupon mess up the time b4. I don't wanna shine a spotlight on myself or become "that" customer. Maybe I'll make hubby go in!

Nope, I'm a NE Ohio girl.

Funny because the OP is as well, and her turkey $ is the same as yours. I would love to know how they determine prices and incentives. It sure doesn't seem fair.

Columbus OH people consistently pay a lot less for milk.
PA people get the Black and Gold bucks incentive.

hey everyone there are some new (I'm assuming because the tearpads looked like they hadn't been touched) displays with good q's and I posted it in the "found a new coupon book" thread (I think that's what the thread was called:giggle2:)

ETA I also found holders for:
0.75 any (2) 32oz All Natural Dannon yogurt x 12/31/08. they were in the dairy section at the waterfront and in the chip section at edgewood. They double!

.55/1 Schwebel's select DND starts with "5" ends with "9" x 12/31/08

.55 any La Tortilla Factory's wraps or tortillas x NEVER! (only two were left on the tearpad in the natural grocery section at the waterfront... and I want more)

2/2 fresh express salad blends or complete salads x 12/31/08(should be nice for when they are bogo, right?)
there was another FE holder for spinach but the lady stocking was right there and I didn't want a funny looking for grabbing more than one, kwim?

Maybe we should have a sticky for tearpad q's and holders to be on the lookout for during this holiday season! I wouldn't have known to look for some if some of youhadn't posted :)

our .38/lb is also related to the buy $30 worth of product (turkey doesn't count towards this), limit one per family, 18 lbs and up thing.
And seriously, other than the B1G1F turkeys at Krogers this year, this is the best deal I've seen. $30 isn't hard to spend at this time of year and they have some good sales to help fill that quota.

Oh, wait, actually I think the best deal in Columbus on turkeys was the free turkey at Meijers when you bought an electric roaster which already came with a free buffet server and a free $10 off coupon on the purchase of your next small appliance. That was last week and it's been my favorite deal all year!

I've contacted the TV news reporter who interviewed me a couple of months ago & have asked her to do a story about the GE turkey price variances. Here's the info I've gathered so far:

.38 a pound in Columbus, OH
.87 a pound in Brunswick, OH
.79 a pound in Pittsburgh, PA
.69 a pound in Akron, OH
.29 a pound in Erie, PA *with $30 purchase

Anyone have prices to add to this? How about contacting someone at your local TV or newspapers?

The amount / degree of local competition heavily influences the prices of sale items.

I sure did find the $2 peelies on Phisoderm products! Woohoo. Reps to Mother_of_8!
There were only 5 products on the shelf, so I took 2. The cream cleanser was marked as $4.44, then BOGO, but the foaming variety (I think?) is regularly priced at $6.xx, and there was no sign for the BOGO sale. HTH.

A little off the turkey talk, I noticied at the store I was merchandising in today, healthy ones were back to 2/4.00 and the the Ronzoni was still 2/3 this can save some lipton coupons for those looking for Black & Gold bucks, 8 lipton sides, and 2 ronzoni should still get $3cat and 2 $5 B&G without wasting and extra lipton coupons.:BigHand:

I also have a Krogers by me with $.29 a lb. My GE matches so, I'll be getting 12 turkeys this week at .29/lb.

If you need a circular, send me a PM with your addy.

Can someone mail me an ad for the lower priced turkeys of $0.38 lb or $0.29 lb? I'm determined to get them to price match like I did last year. I was able to donate a big bird to our church and would like to do this again!

Price matches are really meant for the local market and not for sales ads from across the state or across the country.

Ohhhh, that donated bird (from a price match from an out-of-market ad) could be considered 'ill-gotten gains!'

Found 4 more Phisoderm facial cleansers at another GE today! The cashier was totally impressed with my total ($1.41 - 53c was tax) and I told her about the deal. She really appreciated the tip, because she mentioned she has sensitive skin. I told her I didn't take them all, so to go grab some!

Also found where the Lindt chocolate bars are at, and 5 varieties. Can't wait for my coupons to get here!!

Funny because the OP is as well, and her turkey $ is the same as yours. I would love to know how they determine prices and incentives. It sure doesn't seem fair.

Columbus OH people consistently pay a lot less for milk.

New Clearance Buggies at my store tonite!

Halls ProHealth Defense 1.50 - 1$ mq = 50c a box
Simply Saline 2$ (i think) - 1$ mq = 1$
Theraflu 2$ - 2$ mq = free!
ummm I think there was some Benedryl, some Triaminic...and I think it was Alka Seltzer Defense or something like that. The Halls I grabbed expires in January, so not sure if this is a discontinued item clearance, or just my store trying to get rid of things before they expire.

They also had Little Swimmers for 2$, and Goodnights for 2$ (i think) I'm going by memory, didnt have time to write everything down. Hopefully they'll all still be there in the morning though so I can grab them after I drop my DS at the bus stop. I really need to start grabbing my coupon folder and throwing it in the car when I go!

And if you didn't have a chance to find Phisoderm w/ the peelies - keep checking! My store must have just restocked them tonite, they ALL had peelies on them!!! Yippee!! And the shelf was packed with every kind - so I grabbed a mix of 10 and the shelf was still overflowing - I'm lovin the anti-blemish pads and sensitive skin wash!

I bought Breyers at Chippewa, and it was ringing up 3/10.00, not shelf changed to sale, so it did not count as shelf price. You can always scan it at the self scan to see how your store is working, then have them take it off. Still 3 for for 4.00, not bad for good ice cream!!

Their ad does not specify this so it should be argued if you get a hassle over it. I gave them a Kroger's ad and the nearest Kroger's to me is about 2 hours away. Their ad also does not specify that it has to be an actual ad - so I printed out the Kroger's ad from my computer. I was ready to argue that point too. Luckily I didn't need to point out either.:wink7:
