I found this lady's plan and it looks great and inexpensive. She also has one that is not for fall so look for that too. She has shopping lists and recipes. Fall Menu Plan With Aldi Food (http://www.momadvice.com/food/aldi_meal_plan_fall.aspx) :shopping8:

Its a chain of grocery stores that sells discount groceries, mostly (if not all) off brand labels.... and you need a quarter to rent your shopping cart :)

Got thru the intro, shopping list, and first 2 weeks and then the site started hanging. I will check back later. So far, looks like a good menu. I have alot of this stuff already on hand, maybe not in the pure form she has cuz it is convenience packaged stuff we get free after coupons, but would work. I have considered only stock piling the truly free stuff or really cheap but not using space for stuff that is really close in price to what I can make it for with Aldi food. I will have to play with the sales (non coupon sales) and Aldi prices for a bit and see. This week coming up there are several things I need and I made an Aldi list and almost went today. Good thing ran out of time - most of this stuff is cheaper on sale at Albertsons next week!!

I also have some of these items on hand in other forms. For example I would not be buying any potatoes because I have 15 bags of Steam and Mash in my freezer I will use instead of baked potatoes.

I just thought I would post this up in case anyone shopped Aldi and was looking for some ideas :)
