I think the Bertoli sauce was 2.99
Suave deodorant (small ones) are about 1.99 each (I think) so free after coupon
Trident it is a DND-5 so it may or may not be tripled, depending on your cashier


I found at my trip yesterday that they were scrutinizing the coupons very carefully. I didn't give them any DND's so I don't know what would happen, but they were very careful to only triple up to the cost of the item. No overage at the Kenilworth, NJ A&P!

They also wouldn't let me use the Hunts tomato products coupons I had on Hunts tomato sauce- said it wasn't a "product". (I remember last year that those similarly worded questions didn't scan on tomato sauce.) Those were on sale for 1.25, so it would be 0.65 after a .40/2 coupon tripled, if your store will take it.

I did check the energizer the cheapest was 2.99 for a single count 9 volt next cheapest was 3.99 the ban deoderant was 2.59-2.89 i can't remember exactly the lindt bars i saw were 2.89 but they were not the ones pictured on the .75/1 coups the cheapest orville was 3.99 way to high imo didn't check the other things maybe someone else did. :wavehi:

Some of these coupons expired yesterday and some expire today(most or all of the betty crocker stuff, chex mix and the colgate stuff, I think) so check those dates before you go out!

Luna bars are 1.59 reg price. There was a 50 cent q in the Mambo Sprouts Fall booklet so the bars are 9 cents.

Beechnut yogurt blend juice drinks are 1.29 reg price and there was a .75 q that tripled for free juice.

Pepperidge Fram fruit and grain bagels are 4.29 reg price minus the 55 cent q tripled is hmmmm....can't do the math and don't have a calculator handy.

Here is something I found tonight in Waldbaums (a SuperFresh/A&P affiliate):

Pop Tart 12 ct box is on sale 2/$5. I used the $.55/1 coupon tripled making them $.85/box. They are running a deal that when you buy two boxes to get a free container of America's Choice milk up to $2. The half gallon of 2% was $1.79 AND I got a catalina for $.50 off a gallon of milk.

Not too bad considering my toddler has a Pop Tart pack (two pieces) every morning.

I was upset I was not going to get back to Shoprite where they are 3/$5 but I can only buy 3 at a time there, they double the coupon and they are the smaller boxes.

Today I found both peelies and a tearpad for Pepperidge Farm Soft Farmhouse bread- 35 cents off. The bread is on sale for $2 and with the tripled q it was only 95 cents for the loaf. This loaf is longer and thinner than the usual Pepperidge Farm loafs if you're looking for it.

Oh and I tried the Lindt Excellence bars- the orange and almond one is soooo good. I would definitely recommend that one! Wish I had more qs...

Hi- I have never shopped A & P triples before. The flier says to see store for details- but it's a trek for me to get there. I was wondering if there is a thread anywhere that gives the particulars? I especially want to know how many like coupons you can use at a time- and if there is a limit overall on how many coupons they will triple in one order? Thanks so much!

I'm not sure if every A & P is the same but here are the rules at my A & P limit of 4 like coups per order, no limit on total number of coups in an order, no overage coups will be adjusted to the cost of the item ( this seems to vary from cashier to cashier if they check each price or not) No internet printables ever at my store. hope this helps :smile:

Yes, they do have an online shopping and with the prices are pretty accurate to what the in store prices are. I use it occasionally but be warned, the site is pretty slow to process your search.

My deal at A & P was the Back to Nature Mac & Cheese. Reg price is $1.79. I used the $.70 Q from Mambo Sprouts so it was FREE! My cashier noticed the overage so she adjusted the coupon, but free is good!:giggle2:

I had my best grocery shopping trip ever today at A&P. My order came to $149 before Qs, $70 after (scoring me what I needed for a free turkey). When I got home, I looked at my receipt and realized they hadn't tripled the Qs! So, I went back and had them redo it, cutting the cost down another $24. I saved about 70%.

Make sure you check your receipt!

My receipt shows the $54.xx I spent of those products as qualifying amount, etc. ShopRite's Gas card deal, for example only shows $75.00, even if you spend more. This is what makes me wonder if you can get more than one cert.

That would probably cause a lot of problems at some fo the stores based on what people are posting about coupon ****s.

An easy way to tell is to buy something that qualifies the 2nd week they run it. If the total at the bottom of the receipt increases by the cost of the item, then it is considered the same deal and you will not get more than 1 turkey for that deal. Of course, I haven't checked this theory out but I'd bet that is the way it is programmed.

Kind of late, but I'll give some information ...

I shop in Waldbaums, I completed and received a certificate a couple of days ago for the GM turkey deal.

Today I went back to finish a few triples deals. I happened to purchase a Pillsbury cinnamon roll since I had one last coupon.

Even though I had already completed the certificate, it added to my total shown on the receipt - total did not restart at beginning. Don't remember exact figures, but say it was $41 when I went in tonight -it was $42.67 after tonight's purchase.


I also shop in Pathmark - owned by A&P now.

I just returned from earning a second GM turkey certificate from there. Spent a total of $81 on GM products - received 1 certificate earlier in the week, received second tonight after buying more products.

Pathmark is working a little differently, as they are using shelf prices, not sale prices in computing totals. Much easier to earn here than Waldbaums.

Looking at all of the threads (A&P, Superfresh, Waldbaums) I haven't seen anyone even try to earn a second turkey during the same promotion.
