Avenu at Albertsons (Western Region)

I am new and I don't know if I am posting properly, so forgive me if not. Anyone familiar with the Avenu savings at Albertsons might remember there were kiosks at some stores to print out your offers (I never used it in store). I recently came across the fact that it is still around, but now you access your offers online. I called my store and the manager thought the whole program was done away with years ago, but she said print out my offers and bring by customer service so she could check it out. I did and it worked :BigHand:. Yesterday I got my hormel lunchmeat for $1.25 a pack as it was on sale 2/$6 plus I got my Avenu savings on top of it, I did not have any coupons but the manager I spoke with thougt that I might be able to use it to save even more. I will try to include a link, be sure to have your loyalty card on hand as you are required to enter it to access your savings. This is all I know so far, since I just came across it.

I would like to find out if anyone else has had success using the Avenu. I told my girlfriend and she was able to input her card and get her offers. We both got Dryers ice cream 2/$3.00. :BigHand:I got more of the Hormel lunchmeat with my Avenu savings of $1.50 off in addition to sale price (limit of 6 ) so I paid $9.00 instead of $18.00 for six packs of lunchmeat.

I don't understand what you mean by register for the Avenu. The only thing I know is that it tells me to input my loyalty card number, is that what you mean? If it is not working for you I am sorry, beyound that I do not know of any registration needed or how to help you. :frown:

Thank you so much! There is a coupon on there for $2 off Dreyers ice cream and it is on sale this week for $2/$7 making them 1.50 each! I bought one today to see if it took it off and it did. You can get 2 per visit it says.

Yes the customized offers are also put on your card. If you "like" your custom offers but can't get to the store that day go on the left hand side and choose to extend the offers. I believe that it will extend the offers for 2 days. You can only extend your customized offers and not the section with the heading electronic coupons. You will notice that each section will have different dates that the offers expire. Also items are listed with your limit individually. Some have limit 2 per visit, or limit per household. Today I tried the 80 ct. homelife fabric softner sheets which are included in the buy $10 sale ( no stated limit) so I picked up ten and got both deals so I "made ten cents" on each of my fabric softner sheets. You might look to see if your store is listed as participating and be sure to take your printout with you. Good luck to you.

So glad you were able to get some good deals. I hope that they really don't completely do away with the Avenu system as it was thought to be by my manager. Also the FAQ section on the website had only mentioned using it online so I did not think initially that it would be good in store. I was really happy that it did work. If you don't mind my asking what city did you get your deals in? Wonder if we shop nearby. Did you buy all of your Dryers in one transaction or did you have to break it up by a set number limit? My Dryers offer was limit of 2 per visit.

added 10 fab softeners. It not only worked, but 3.00 was taken
off my receipt 3 times instead of 2 for 20 items. I'm wondering

Hi: I had a rather interesting conversation with Albies customer care dept. I wanted to ask a q about the customized offers and they cannot find their own website for Avenu savings. I was on the site at the time so I offered to give them the address or to email the address to them, no soap. I was :hysterical: so hard the person on the phone must have thought I was out of it. They were all extremely nice but they need some one that is more computer savy and knows all of their own websites.

Yep my ad shows the same. did it twice tonight. 10 softeners and 1 dryers ice cream. I had the 2.00 on dryers from avenue, so my overage of 1.00 on the softeners went towards the ice cream and my total was .54. The cashier was

Ok, the Dreyer's was 2 for $7 and the deal was $2 off ea. but that ended on the 7th.

I never saw the fabric softener on mine but that seemed to be a customized offer for those who got it. They got lucky!

The Electronic q's expire a week later which is when the ad deals end too and the customized q's expire every night at midnight. But I was shown a link on the left hand side where you can actually extend some of your customized orders.

They had some with a bonus razor attaced and a couple of bonus size shave gels, of course had to get those :wink7:. Got to the register and they rang up at the wrong price so I got one free. I did not find any coupons for the items to save more but all in all good for me.

I just spoke with Albertsons Customer Care dept as the website says the Avenu program is for online shopping only. This isn't offered in my area, so i asked if they are in effect for the stores as well. They said "yes"! Most often can also be combined with a manufacturer Q, but check with your own store manager to be sure.

I wish I could have that high value even $2 off I always stock up.

Oh one more thing I think when you get some and then you still need more the next day you can try to extend your coupons.

Thanks for everyone posting there Avenu deals as it helps me keep an eye out for the good deals. I also got the $4.00 Village Market 3lb frozen chicken again. I went today to get some of the chicken tenders and they were out so I asked about a rain check but did not haved my current printout (had the previous days w/me). I talked to one of the managers that was working self checkout and was able to get a raincheck on the $6.99 price and mentioned the Avenu, so she said to be sure to bring the printout and they should be able to give me the price. I made sure to print it out w/todays date showing so it will match my raincheck date. Hope all goes well when I try to "cash in" on my deal. She said I am one of a few people that uses the Avenu at the store, so I think that it helped they kind of know me. I will have to post back when I try and redeem and I am sure this is probrably a huge YMMV issue as it seems that most employees also don't know about the Avenu savings.

I believe when you hit your household limit that the offer is then removed. I think I used a household limit and then went back to the website to check it out, if I remember correctly it had a small Avenu icon where my offer had previously been. Might be worth double checking.

I went to self checkout, scanned the CL 1st, grabbed the CAT and used it to help pay (in addition to the $1/2 coupon and $2 arrowhead cat) final price for 2 aquapods,3 CL singles was 28 cents. :BigHand: made my day :)

10 x 20 Dannon = 18.00

-9.00 promo (buy 10 get 10)
-2.00 avenu

So here's the deal with the dannon...i actually thought they were .45c each...they actually rang up .90c ea and the .45c ea was AFTER the 9.00 promo. So mine was:

.45 x 20 = 9.00
- 2.00 avenu (for 4 sets of 2)

=5.65
I made a mistake and she actually put .45c on the B6G1f q instead of the .90c it charged me so I will see when I go back if I can get that money back...every little helps!
In that case my total would have been:

Since Avenu said that my Arrowhead (and Dannon) coupons don't expire until Wednesday, March 25, I tried the Arrowhead deal today and the two cats still printed out: $1/2 Q and $2 ONYO. The coupons expire at midnight. Check your Avenu coupons before you go.

Last night I looked at my avenue both have hormel 1.50 off and the other is 1.75 off so I went and test it out. It price at 4.69 at store -1.50-1.75 and -.55 blikie so total for 1 pack of 8 0z hormel naturall choice meat package for total .89.

So its like getting triple coupons.

Hope you guys get the same coupons as well.

If you don't have any of these coupons, the catalina machines are producing $1/2 catalinas in addition to the $2 OYNO catalinas. This has been going on for several weeks now and I am not sure of the actual end date.

Anyway, (sorry this is so long) most of us have only had to pay CRV for the bottled waters and if you turn around and recycle them to get your CRV back, then the stuff actually ends up being free in the end. :wink7:

It was either the 15th or the 17th. Either way, it is over unless they started a new range of dates like they did last time. Since they have removed all of the tags in my stores, I am thinking that it has ended for now. HTH. :)

I myself would pick up a couple bags of sugar for that price after coupon. Come winter, the sales will get better, but it will be awhile before you will be see better prices.
