how do you get 2 for $0.99? do you buy 2 candles and use 2 BOGO coupons? I found some peelies for $3/1 on the wisp candle...can i use one and a BOGO coupon if i buy 2? so that would still be 2.99 for 2 with $3 RR...i'm confused.

the op shows a $5 MQ, that, along with the bogo Q, after sale price of 5.99, will make it .99/2 with a $3 RR. i think you're correct with your $3 scenario. i think there's an ESR for the wisp refills. hth

There is a $5 Mfr. cpn available for the Glade Wisp.
So,
2 candles @ 5.99 = 11.98 - $5(Mfr. cpn) - $5.99 (BOGO Internet Printable coupon) = 99c. (You make $2.01 by getting the $3 RR)
There is no ESR for the wisp candle in October. However, there is a MIR up to $9.99 for the WISP candles.

This looks like a decent week!
Two questions for anyone who can help
ON page 14, where it has the Right Guard Extreme twin packs with the MIR deal, underneath it says "get $2 RR wyb 2 or more". Is that referring to the Right Guard or what's underneath, the Degree?
On page 15 What is the Listerine Smart Rinse deal? Is it $4.50 in RR wyb 2? I can't read what it says and I can't enlarge.
TIA

Glade Wisp Candle, Overage
SALE: 5.99
MQ: $5/1
MQ: BOGO
AD Q: N/A
ES Q: N/A
ESMIR: N/A
TOTAL: Spend .99 on 2 candles and get $3 RR back
RR: Buy one get $3 back
Unfortunatly you only get one RR in the transaction but your getting 2 candles for .99 and getting $3 back....so thats a pretty good money maker in my book if you ask me.:BigHand:
New to all of this so I am just wonmdering. To get RR back...I need to do every transaction seperatley right? RR's are basically credit to use in the store right?

Yes, you need to do them in separate transactions because you'll only get 1 RR even if you buy 17. Also, you can't use 1 wisp RR to pay for another wisp (in case you didn't know ).

On the IP that I printed it does say on one glade wisp flameless candle holder but in the bottom right corner it says maximum value $10.
Hope this helps

Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber is on sale for $3.99 with a $1.50 ESR. There is a TMF in today's inserts.
There is also a $1 coupon that expiress on 12/31/09. A money maker.
The Fresh Brush Max kit is also on sale for $3.99, there's a 3/1 insert-so .99 after coupon. The $1.50 ESR applies to this too, it's a small money maker!

You can use them like that, you just have to make sure the RR aren't from the same brand family or they won't print.

TMF = Try Me Free
I had to look it up as I am new but I learned from others who post on HCW that on every page in the lower left hand corner is an area named Useful Links and one of the links is called "Abbreviations, Acronyms and Coupon Terms". It has helped me a bunch and hopefully it will help you in the future. Have a happy Tuesday!!!

I have 2 from before but hopefully they are still available. I looked on Wags website and the cheapest I saw was 7.99 but at 25% off, you would have to buy 4, which would throw you up to $24 just to get over $20. If you have 4 q's, that would mean overage if they allow it, but I only have 2. So an example with 2 q's:
RoC Retinol Correxion and Repair SPF 14 - $14.99 - 25% = $12.74
RoC Multi-Correxion Exfoliating Cleanser - $9.99 - 25% = $7.49
Total = $20.23
- 2 $5/1
- $10.23
And you get a $10RR for a net of .23. Does that sound right?

Well the coupon for the Action Scrubber is for $2.75
Save on bathroom cleaning products from Scrubbing Bubbles® (http://www.scrubbingbubbles.com/coupon/2008-07-SB/)
and that is on-sale for $3.99 and there is a rebate of $1.50 so you could earn 26 cents on this after coupon and rebate
The fresh brush max kit is also on sale for $3.99 but the printable coupon says it is for the "Scrubbing Bubbles® Action Scrubber" so I am guessing you could not use it for the fresh brush max kit. There is a coupon here

twinsmomkatie,
I too am a newbie, but let me see if I can help.
Do option 2 using the BOGO coupon and then use the 1.00 MQ from option 1. Makes it 1.50 for 2(or 3.00 for 4). Then do the ESMIR for 1.00 each for a money maker of .50 or 1.00.
Hope that helps...

Thanks! Repped ya! Will try that - using 2 q's on the BOGO. And I'll just see what happens with the MIR (whether it's 2 or 4) - I want them either way.

Your rebate will be however many you buy. So, if you buy 2, MIR will be 2 , buy 4, MIR will be 4. It won't matter what coupons you use. Just remember that the MIR limit on this is 6. Hope this helps.:wavehi:

For those planning on doing the Scrubbing Bubbles deal, but don't have all the coupons they need, the starter kits have more coupons in them, both the fresh brush max starter kit, and the action scrubber starter kit have booklets of coupons in them, so if you do your first transaction to buy these, you will get more Q's.
Mine are all cut apart from the deal a couple weeks ago, and there were two different booklets in the same products, but I think they were:
$1/1 fresh brush starter kit
55c/1fresh brush refill
$3/1 automatic shower cleaner starter kit

$1/1 scrubbing bubbles wipes (I think this last one is right, I used all that were in this spot in the booklet)
The other booklet:

1.50/2 shower cleaner refills
$1/1 scrubbing bubbles wipes (I think this last one is right, I used all that were in this spot in the booklet, too. It COULD be $1/1 ANY scrubbing bubbles, though.)

Also, depending on the cost of the items, the Almay is B1G1. kmart has a "beauty book" that has a 2/1 MQ in it that would work WONDERFUL with this.
For those with heartburn, the Walgreens brand Omeprazole is 13.99, there is a 1/1 walgreen's q for this, and with the $4 RR, it makes it very cheap (considering...)
I'm planning on trying my hand at this sale... any help would be greatly appreciated!
TIA!

Help I am confused! Can you use 2 mqs if one of them is a bogo q?
That's YMMV. Some stores allow the use of a x/1 coupon with a BOGO, some don't.
(The BOGO Q is for one item, the x/1 is for the other, so you are actually using 1 Q per item)

I was wondering too, if anyone knew what TP was included in the deal???
Are we sure that the $1 mfg coupon will work on the Crest Deal. Reading the fine print of my coupon, it doesn't seem to match. If the kids paste is in the deal then we have a coupon for that. The other one is for 4.1 oz or larger, or liquid gel: Multicare Whitening, Extra Whitening, whitening plus Scope, Whitening Plus Scope Extreme, Whitening ExpressionsNature's ExpressionsVivid WhiteVivid White Night Sensitivity Pro-Health. The WAGs sale shows Cavity protection. Maybe more than one kind is for sale? What ever happened to just plane old toothpaste?

I think they are refering to toothpaste. Has anyone gone this morning and can report on which toothpaste is on sale??

Just did my Wags trip and it was for the most part successful. Here are some updates:
I was able to get the Wisp Candle w/ the $5 coupon and the RR with no problems. I have so many of these between Shaws/Stop & Shop/Wags that I actually gave each of the 3 cashiers there this morning a candle!! They were very appreciative!!
Be on the look out for Bonus Packages of the Crest Toothpaste. I was able to get 2 tubes in one package for the $1.99 price. Not that I need more toothpaste but it is more that I can donate to the homeless shelter - plus it is FREE.
Also be on the look out for Bonus Packages of the Schick Quatro razors. I found a package that was double the amount for free. These I will keep for myself!! The scenario posted for these with the travel size worked with no beeps!! Always a good thing!
I could not find the SB Fresh Brush refills anywhere that were free with the IP coupon. Not sure if it was just my store but they were no where to be found.
HTH!!!!

THe toothpaste on sale is Crest Cavity Protection, Crest Tarter Control, and Crest Fresh Mint. They are the no frills toothpaste that Crest makes. The $1/1 from the P&G does in fact work on these as it states any Crest Toothpaste (states a minimum size - which I do not remember) or the other brands listed. So yes - Free toothpaste again! HTH!!!

Thanks for clearing that up. I was checking my Acronym printout, thinking it must be something else because, "What does toilet paper have to do with toothpaste?" :confused58: I thought maybe I should check the ad again, maybe you got a deal on toilet paper if you bought toothpaste. :giggle2:

For those wondering, and it may vary by store, my WAGS did NOT have the Ziploc Easy Zipper so it was a no go on that deal (using the B1G1F coupon along with a $1/1 or $.40/1 coupon). They only had the regular zipper bags at my store.

MQ: $2.00 (I got it in a potluck -> believe peelie)
AD Q: #6
ES Q:
ESMIR(#): October #30 ($1.50)
TOTAL: $0.49

I have, however, a Mfg MIR coupon from 09-21-08 SS: Free scrubbing bubbles action scrubber starter kit up to $5.69.
Since we don't have to have the original receipt for Wags for the ESR, we just have to have the receipt number if you do it on line (which I do)...I would have the original receipt for the mfg mail-in-rebate. Would they give me the $3.99 or would they give me the $3.99 less the coupon?
What I wanted to know is it okay to do two MIR on the same product? I think it would be pretty cool to get...
Manf MIR Q = $3.99 - my OOP $0.49 = $3.50 overage...
Is my math correct???????

i think its either 18.99 or 19.99 at walmart...that is usually what i try to compare prices to since i think wags "normal" price is so inflated. :giggle2:
that said, i think $15 oop and $11 (with 10% bonus) is not a bad deal if you have RR you need to roll into GC or if you think you will actually use it. JMHO

They are really cool "candles" so I may go get more...

My mom is just loving Walgreen's of late. Yesterday, I went with her to do the deal on the Motions hair care products. They were a steal at 3/$5, after the $5 RR. Today, I did the deal on the hair relaxers. They were an excellent deal for $2.99, after the $2 RR. But, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Ultra Sheens are actually the double value packages. This is her stock up deal because she wants to get more before the sale ends.

Check carefully, I believe in the Easy Saver catalog the MIR is only good on the Action Scrubber 6-pack refill.

For those using the Glade Wisp $5/1 Q with the BOGO IP, do you have any problems with the BOGO Q being accepted? I know it will beep for the price to be entered, but I also know sometimes in those scenarios, since the first Q attached to the first item that the BOGO has issues since it can't "attach" to both Qs. I'm not the expert, but because it has a colon after the sizes (4.1 oz + paste, any size liquid gel) I'm pretty sure it's only supposed to be used on the types listed.

Just did my Walgreens trip this AM...went to the Wags on Sunset, Waukesha, WI - they had the SoBe, but no MQ tearpads for it. I did find the MQ .40 tear pads at the Walgreens on Grandview. I was able to use the ESQ and the MQ for 2 of these. Also, could not find the Evian tearpads that others have mentioned at either store.
Hope that helps someone.

Do option 2 using the BOGO coupon and then use the 1.00 MQ from option 1. Makes it 1.50 for 2(or 3.00 for 4). Then do the ESMIR for 1.00 each for a money maker of .50 or 1.00.
Hope that helps...
can someone please provide the link for the IP

Re Lindt Bars. Are those in the ad? I don't see them. Now you have me excited. Riteaid has them 2 for $3 so this would be even better.
They aren't in the ad because they aren't on sale. $2.49 is the regular price. I just happened to notice the $1/1 IVC and the MQs in the inserts on Sunday so while I was there I checked the prices. Some of the chocolate bars are over $3. That would still be cheap chocolate but not free. Free always tastes better. If you can't use two MQs, then by just using the BOGO Q you could still get two bars for $0.49.

Thanks for any help!
No. I did two transactions yesterday. Gave cashier bogo first and then the $5 q. No beeps.

I'm not the expert, but because it has a colon after the sizes (4.1 oz + paste, any size liquid gel) I'm pretty sure it's only supposed to be used on the types listed.
You sound like an expert to me....because I totally missed that colon! :giggle2: Ok, thanks....glad I decided to not use it today and wait, because I'd have felt pretty bad! Repped for pointing it out!

I always use a $ off and a BOGO together at walgreens and have never had a problem. I give the $ off first and then the BOGO because sometimes the cashier has issues with a $ off after having to enter the price on the BOGO coupon. The register doesn't care which order you give it though.

There was also a $3 coupon for the single or triple candle, I used 2 and made money...
$3.99 each used $3 coupons and get a rebate from easy saver of $2 on each one... so I made $2 off it. Mine must have come from the triple pack candles or the refills I bought at walmart MONTHS AND MONTHS ago.

Sorry to ask another newbie question, but what is Bricks?
Bricks is a site from where we print our manufacturer coupons.
Generally manufacture's coupon links direct us to external site to print their coupons.
eg if we got to bic soleil site to prnt their savings coupon, the coupn link directs us to another site to print the coupon. If you check, the ip address in the bar says something like "bricks.coupons.com/....".

I have a question....I have a BOGO Scrubbing Bubbles coupon (buy one Fresh Brush Starter Kit, get a Fresh Brush Refill free). I also have a $1/1 Fresh Brush Starter Kit & .55c off Fresh Brush refills. Can I use the .55c coupon, since this is a "free" item? I know using the $1/1 should not be a problem, just not sure about using the .55c coupon:shrug7:

I have a question on the Action Scrubber. I have the q's for the starter kit but the picture and description in the ES catalog for rebate 30 describes the 6 pk. action scrubber refill kit, not the starter kit. Is the starter kit part of the rebate too??
I don't want to burst any bubbles, including my own! Please tell me something I'm not seeing. I'm wary of buying it and having the rebate rejected.
Thanks in advance!
i called the easy rebates and told them about it. the girl checked it and said the startr kit also included. today i read a posting that someone has already purchased it and is shown in her rebates

I did this and then when I openned it to get the UPC for the full rebate (form was in one of my newspaper inserts instead of the $5 coupon)... there was a $3 coupon inside the box.
They are really cool "candles" so I may go get more...
$5.99 - $3 coupon = $2.99 and get $3 RR (I used my 2 BOGO coupons already or I could use that along with the $3 coupon and get another one free)
Have you tried doing this deal with the $3 coupon from the box yet? I used it & did not receive the $3 RR. Another poster thought that possibly the RR didn't print because the numbers on the $3 MFQ were the same as the $3 RR.
Just wondering if you had any success with this since I didn't.

Which candles? Last month I never got my Glade oil plug ins to go through but I thought it was because they price adjusted them (sign said a lower price than they rang, and I used $4 coupons so I go them free anyway so I let it go)
I entered my receipts for rebates on Sunday and they still have not gone through so now I am getting worried since its Thursday.
