I am doing this next week (I have a different sales ad) and I am going to use my coupons for free cheerios. My baby scarfs down those cheerios like there is no tomorrow.

The free coupons from the Cheerios challenge. i ended up with two I had one mailed home and another to my husbands work. I am also going to get some of the cheerios IPs from the challenge too.
My 9 month old loves those darn cheerios, you should see. They are much cheaper than those veggie puffs so I really need to stock up this time.

Just a heads up...

I did this deal this morning and the coupon for the free milk did not print. I went to the customer service desk and apparently they have been having issues with it all morning (maybe yesterday too?). They wrote out a rain check for the milk for me so it worked out fine, but luckily I realized it didn't print right away so I didn't have to make a trip back to the store.

You know why I don't like the rain check for the milk is because the last time this happened to me they wrote me a rain check for " two free milk." 98.9% of the time milk goes on sale the following week, and the cats create overage, while the rain check does not.

I did two transactions with this. The first store I bought:
3 Strawberry Chex @ 2.99
2 Chocolate Chex @ 2.99
1 Total Whole Grain @ 3.45
I also got 1 Ronzoni Pasta @ 1.79 and 2 Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers @ 0.88 ea.

The coupons I used were:
1/3 GM cereals from 8/10 GM (they had the same ones in the most recent GM also)
1/2 GM cereals – selected varieties listed on coupon from 8/24 SS
1/1 GM Total cereal – came with a free sample in the newspaper a few weeks ago
(2) 1/1 Green Giant VF Steamers (overage!)
1/1 Ronzoni Smart Taste Pasta

Total oop was 5.85 (I also got 0.10 off for reusing shopping bags)
This time the cat for the free milk did not print so they gave me a rain check


Later that day at another store I ended up getting:
1 Chocolate Chex @ 2.99
3 Honey Nut Chex @ 2.99
2 Cheerios @ 2.99

I used (2) 1/3 GM cereals coupons from 8/10 GM and had 0.10 off for bags
This time the oop was 5.84 and the cat for $4.00 off one gallon of milk printed.

$2.99/box was the cheapest price I saw among all the GM cereals. Many of the varieties had the smaller boxes for that price. Larger boxes were 3.xx or 4.xx each.

You are still buying the item at full price you are just using coupons to lower how much you pay for them.

this is what I am going to do on Wed. All cheerios and these go for 3.29 at my store
19.74 six boxes of cheerios
-6.58 two free cheerios coupons from Cheerios challenge
-8 four Cheerios IP coupons doubled
-10 deducted instantaneously at check out
= 4.84 in Overage! AND get a cat for FREE milk, wee!

Okay.. I have 1 coupon for Cherrios $1 off I can do that? Are there any other links for GM cereals that I can find. Sorry I have so many questions. I am real new at this. LOL! So sounds like I need to go on Wednesday to get the best deal.

I'm not sure, but I think this deal ends on Saturday in the areas that the ads run Sun-Sat. In the areas that the ad runs Thur-Wed, you could still do this deal next Wednesday and get your coupons doubled if you meet all the requirements for it.
