There are manufacturers coupons for $3/5 Quaker products in some other grocery store ads (Associated Food stores here-not sure what others for those of you not in my area). These will be great for the items that we do not have coupons.

Just sad to see there is not Life Cereal included. :frown: It's one of my favorites, and I am down to 4 boxes from the sale back in April.

Most of the time, I have scanned these at the Uscan and they work (they are manufacturer coupons and have redemption addresses). It's Albertsons policy to take competitors' coupons, too, so either way, they should take them. Some people have had trouble with Albies not taking coupons from Walgreens, Target, etc, because they don't consider them to be competitors (ie they're not true grocery stores). Maybe that's the problem with your store.

you learn quick. exactly what you said is correct. if you live in teh portland area, there are also thriftway coupons, that give you another 4 double, which is 8 per transaction.

the CAT's are Manufacturer coupons. corporate should be able to rectify this for you. there are not different kinds of manufacturer coupons. ESpecially if it scans on the albies system.....i have troubles at safeway, but my deal with them(which they accept), is that if the register recgonizes it, then it must be legit there...=) (works 99% of the time)
but agian if you have a USCAN, use that ....

Ever since the update a while back it does that if you are in FF. You have to click on the number up at the top right of the post to open just that post in a separate window, then click the scales to rep. OR if it is the last post in the thread you can just click the scales without problems. There are still a lot of problems with things overlapping. Like right now while posting I can only see part of the smilies as the tag box is over the top of it. I know the problems were reported in the beginning but I quit following the thread that told what was being fixed. :shrug7:

I did the electrosol deal this morning :D Used 6 Sunday paper coupons (from this past weekend) and then 2 of the Albie's in store coupons. I was able to purchase all 6 in one transaction using all my coupons. $.09 Electrosol rocked my world this morning :D

Generally at Albertsons you can use more than one of this kind of in-ad coupon in a single transaction, but you need to use a coupon for each batch. In this case you could buy 9, but would need to cut out 3 albertsons coupons.

I have not yet done the electrasol deal, but based on past similar coupons this should work.

I went at 8 am to my Albies, and the Electrosol was already gone! I was very surprised. However, they let me get a raincheck for at that coupon price (she just stapled the Albies q to the raincheck). She asked how many I wanted, and said it had to be increments of 3 (since the q is for 3). If the rain check is for that price with the coupon attatched, I don't think I'd need to get more of the Albies q's for every 3. Would you think? Well, just hope I can find some before the raincheck expires! They only last 30 days it says.

The Quaker Simple Harvest bars have 1/1 Qs as part of the box. The ones from last year had them as well so if you have any left......... then keep rolling them. Since I cut up all of my boxes I figured out that you can get 30 in an empty Ritz cracker box

Stopped to get my first 5 GM cereals on my way to get DH from his night class (we needed milk, so I thought I'd just get the free one w/ the cereal deal). The 9 oz Multi-grain cheerios was marked 5/$10, so I grabbed one of them (along with 4 of other flavors), but it's actually the 12.8 oz that's included in the deal. I found this out when my milk cat didn't print. So, beware when you're picking yours up, that your store may not have the 12.8 oz boxes marked, but they are 5/$10, and they are the only size of multi-grain cheerios that works for this deal. Luckily, the CS person at this particular store was very nice about returning and reringing the deal for me. Free milk after all! :rolleyes24:

It works for $25 before coupons so I broke my order into 3 transactions today (not back to back) so I could get 3 of them (and 3 of the Powerade cats). The other one was for some kind of bread for .97. I don't remember what kind because I have 6 loves of free Sara Lee in my freezer so I did not get any. Not all that great of a price IMO, because I get Sara Lee at the bakery outlet for .90 normally (when I don't have qs for free loaves).

I didn't have time to read all of the posts on this thread, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew what a good deal this Pompeian Olive Oil is. At the manufacturer's web site, there are printable $1.00 off coupons. You can print two.

So with the in ad coupon and the man. coupons I got these 64oz. olive oils for $8.99, the price I normally pay for half that size. The regular price for this stuff is 24.99 or something ridiculous like that. I got two, it rang up no problem for me.

Also, the Coffeemate Creamer did not ring up correctly for me. It wanted me to have two, not one creamer for that price. But the coupon did not state that, so they overrode that for me. But we had to get a manager to do it. I also had a man. coupon for that item, too. I got the huge creamer for $2.99, I think.

I am now stocked up on olive oil and cereal for quite some time.

I brought it to their attention that the whole shelf was expired. They said they'd take care of it, but that was all they had because what was on the shelf is what JUST came in on the truck! OK I opened one of the hot cereal boxes and they do have the Qs too, at least the ones that are shaped like the regular boxes. These Qs expire 12/31/09, are good on the cereal or bars, the code date on the boxes was Feb 09.

Wow I did not mean to cause so much confusion about the Powerade. I had a coupon that was for Buy 10 get 5 free. It did not just ring up that way. Sorry I did not clarify that. The reason I only got 3 $4 catalinas (despite buying 27 of them) was that I had to do 15 in one order to use my B10G5F coupon. I then did 6 and 6 in the other orders for a total of 27. The Powerade Zeros are definitely .69. Sorry for the confusion. Here is how my individual Powerade purchases broke down if it helps-

10.35 15 Powerade ZEROS
-3.45 Buy 10 Get 5 free COUPON
-1.00 1 $1 coupon
-3.00 4 .75 coupons
-2.50 5 .50 coupons
= .40
and earned a $4 catalina

4.14 6 Powerade ZEROS

Note that each time I bought some a coupon for $1 off 2 or $1 off 3 spit out so I added those to the coupons that I had.

They should allow you to use the $1 and .75 coupons as long as you do not have more total coupon value than total price of the Powerades. So if you buy 6 for 4.14 you could use 4 of the $1 coupons and just owe .14

Both my Albies and Safeway just put green $1 peelies on the Simple Harvest cereal. They are good for the cereal and the bars. Thanks for the note on the exp dates - I plan on buying a lot, so I'll definitely check!

I went tonight and got 6 Electrosol, 5 GM cereals (and free milk 2nd transaction), 6 Powerade Zero, and 10 Quaker Oatmeal. I also had the cashier substitute 2 - 32 oz. Coffee Mate @ $1.75 for the 1 - 64 oz @ $3.50. I looked high and low for the Powerade, and the soda aisle only had regualr. Then I saw an endcap with chilled beverages, and lo and behold - a shiny row of Strawberry Zero's! :BigHand:

Got a few other groceries, and used a $10/$50 Safeway coupon, and a $10 Walgreens Robitussin RR. Got back my $4 Cat for the Powerade, plus $.91 change from the milk. It cost $3.59 and the Cat for it took off $4.50.
