Ok, I don't know who I have to beg for the Scott's deal, but I'll beg. I'll do it. I will. I pretty much have no pride left where toilet paper is concerned.:shrug7:
I don't want to be impatient and immature, but GIMME, GIMME, GIMME, GIMME. :hectic1:
If there are no tp deals, then please, oh please, let there be SOMETHING different than the same old snack foods. Good while it lasted, but I'm calling 'Uncle' now.

Went to Albertson's today, as they often have the sale prices atleast a day early. And I found the Scott for $1 each!! I had 5 $1 off coupons, so got 5 free. Plus, in the aisle with the paper towels, there were blinkies for .50 cents off them! So, I got 2 more at .50 cents each. (Not free, but good price, I thought for stocking up too). Also got two more free Ken's lite accents salad dressing, and a 2 liter of Sierra Mist, s they were 3/$4, and someone had taped .55 cents off q's on them. Also, on the Ken's dressing were hangtags for .55 cents off now. Not sure if I can use those later or not. But I preferred the $2 off to get it free! LOL Spent $2.19 for 7 four packs of toilet paper, two things of salad dressing, and a two liter of soda. Not bad!

They ran out really fast the time there were $1 blinkies on the shelf right next to the toilet paper. :hysterical:
But last time I didn't have a problem using all my coupons. Just to be safe I used them all today at 2 different stores.
I noticed that the shelf tag states that the sale goes through September 9th. Don't forget to clip the box tops from the back of the package.

Anyone know how much the 4 packs of the frapuccinos are? I'm guessing that they're about $6 - so for $12, you'd get 12...not too bad at $1 each, considering they're around $2 if you buy them as singles.

I have some tearpads for $1/2 4 packs of starbucks drinks. I think I found them at either SW or QFC a while ago. I only have 2 right now, but you might be able to find more somewhere.

I just did a special order for it so I didn't have to hunt all over creation to find 100 4 packs of TP - the manager had no problem with it and said it will be in on Thursday :-) If I were you, that's what I'd do - apparently 24 4 packs come in a box/case just as an fyi. Also, if your Albie's doesn't have them in stock, just get a raincheck, they should have them next week before the coupons expire.
Oh, and thecouponmaster.com has the $1/1 coupons for 12 cents each and you will have them before the end of the sale if you order today. They had 100 at 1:20pm PST.

Anyone know how much the 4 packs of the frapuccinos are? I'm guessing that they're about $6 - so for $12, you'd get 12...not too bad at $1 each, considering they're around $2 if you buy them as singles.
They're listed online at $7.99 ... maybe they're a little cheaper in store?

I went in today and found nothing in my store...Already!! I went to ask the manager when they might get more in...He said I am ordering now and they should be on the shelf Thursday Morning...He asked how much I wanted....A case?? I said that should be fine...They seemed to have no problem with it...But it is a store that I have worked hard at getting a repertoire (SP) with them...I have actually let things slide when I know that I am right just so that they know I am a person that will totally go the extra mile for them if they will do the same for me...Seems to work so far..So I would just go up and ask them...What would it hurt?? They can always say no, then you know that you will just be spreading your order out over several days...several stores??
Although they did say 24 pks in a case and mine said he was ordering 6 cases...so if you used all yours on a good day you would clean them out and they may not like that...So you may have to spread it out a little??

I am a newbie and I have a question about Albertsons and the Kraft deal. What amount will the coupons be deducted at, the final price, the sale price or the regular/coupon max price? It will make a big difference in the oop.
I am planning on buying: 4 singles, 4 dressings, 4 Crystal Light, 1 Wheat Thins, 40 Koolaid and 2 bags of sugar (free).
If they deduct. . .
. . . the coupons at the final price (3/$7 or 4/$7) the oop would be $8.
. . . the coupons at the sale price (3/4/$10) the overage would be $4.
. . . the coupons at the regular price the overage would be about $15.
Is this a YMMV kind of thing? I would rather keep the oop to a min this week, so planning for the $15 overage then ending up having to pay $23 oop wouldn't be my favorite idea. :shrug7:
Thanks for any input.
ETA: I just realized my numbers are off, I'm not going to redo them because the idea is the same. thanks.

I've told them ahead of time and sometimes just at checkout time, they don't seem to care either way. However, if you're ordering that many you can ask to see if they will give you a price break - i've done that before too. I believe it's like 10% or something. Just an idea.

Well, I tried using the $3 Planters coupon and it beeped.
I had 3 boxes of HBO and 1 jar of peanuts. ($10)
Got my instant $3 savings.
Used my free HBO coupon ($2.50) and a $1 off 2 Post coupon.
When my $3 Planters coupon was scanned it beeped and she checked the price. She only took off $2.50 since that's the sale price.
So I paid $1, I can't complain. I just wonder if I have to buy more than one Planters to get the coupon to go through without beeping? I have 4 more that I would like to use up since it's such a high $$ coupon. If anyone else does a transaction with this coupon, I'd love to hear how it worked for you.
TheWoman
08-27-2008, 02:35:03 PM
As long as you buy more $$ in planters than the coupons you are trying to use they will scan fine without beeping. For example
Buy 1 jar $2.50. A $3 coupon will beep
Buy2 jars for $5. A $3 coupon will go through but the second will beep.
Buy 4 jars for $10. 3 $3 coupons will work, a 4th will beep
Buy 6 jars for $15. 5 $3 coupons will work, making it all free if you have that many coupons.
Of course, you could always just have them reduce the value of the coupon to $2.50--but that wastes 50 cents.
These values are all before the $3 instant savings when you spend $10 (at least that is how previous deals worked)

Actually, for my 50 Kraft WYBs I had to get 150 kraft items, and only 84 of them were koolaid. With the rest, I used the matchups in this thread (Thank you!) to find more kraft items that I could get for super cheap/free. I only bought the Crystal Light from that group - the hot dogs, wheat thins, and salad dressing were all 4/$10
So the crystal lights (with 3 Qs) = 9KA's = 1.8. You get $3 free from the promo, so 3-1.8 = 1.20 there.
On the other group (with a set of 4 qs) = 12KA's = 2.4 - 3 from promo = .60 overage
I also got pudding, planters, ritz crackers, honey bunches (free) and others, all with Qs from the matchup.
That's how I built my logic; I literally had a (quite large) spreadsheet of everything so I could try to figure out the best scenario. I still don't know how my order ended up quite as awesome as it did, though.

9KA means 9 Kool Aids.
It does matter how much the items are, because they all (if you buy the right type) qualify for the $3 instant Kraft savings promo. So, say I have 4 wheat thins B3G1F Qs, they're priced at 4/$10, with the $3 savings. The coupons will take off $2.50 each (x4 = $10), PLUS you still get that $3 instant savings on your bill. Does that help? The Crystal Lights are 3/$10, so it only takes three of those coupons to "make" $3.
With what you have, I'd probably say go this way:
3 Crystal Lights = $10 - $10 Qs = $3 "overage"
1 Oscar Myer, 2 Wheat thins = 7.50 - 7.50 = 0
(Need something to reach another $10, say Honey bunches, if you have one of the frees, $2 IP, or $1 insert Q? Let's say you have the IP)
Honey bunches 2.5 - 2 = .50 - $3 instant savings = 2.50 "Overage"
You now have $5.50 to apply toward the required purchase of 17 (cause the cereal is one) needed Kraft items.

Now that makes perfect sence to me finally I got it thanks so much .

I THINK I found a great deal! Let me know if I am on to something...
Combine the B2G2 12pk Coke Products with the Hillshire Farms/Ballpark Deals (looks like this):
6 Ballpark Franks (B1G2) = $7.98
3 Sara Lee Buns
3 Coke Zero 12pk.
2 Coke (Any) 12pk.
- 3 x Free Sara Lee Buns with purchase of 2 Ballpark Franks (Blinkie)
- 3 x $1.00 off 2 Ballpark with purchase of Sara Lee Buns (Tearpad)
- 3 x Free Coke Zero w/purch. of 2 Ballpark and 1 Sara Lee Buns (Blinkie)
- B2G2 Coke
TOTAL: $4.98
See any errors?:hysterical: (Haven't been at this quite as long as the pros)!

That may be considered piggybacking...not certain though (my head hurts :giggle2:). If it's not though, why not double everything, so that way you're not letting one of free your coke zero's go to waste, when you could get 2 more for free by doubling your order.

Get all of your frees, and you're at $28.33
grab 2 of the $1 original starting price items
that will bring your Kraft total to $30.33
- $9 in "overage" Kraft instant savings
- your frees (28.33)
you're at $7 in overage, and need 28 more kraft items
so get 27 koolaids, (and your bag of sugar) = 2*.2 = $5.40
$1.60 overage left - grab a $2 canister of the Koolaid
pay .40 oop, get a $2 cat.

Hmm - I guess my thinking was that as long as I wasn't using overlaps, meaning $x off of 2 of y and $x off of 3 of y and only getting 4 of y total, that it was okay. I am interested in knowing the answer though - I certainly don't want to do something wrong.
IF I am right, I hadn't considered the doubling up - great idea!! We could have a Hot Dog and Coke block party for less than $10! hehe :hysterical:
Any our thoughts appreciated - would love to do this tonight if it's not against the rules! :shrug7:
Thanks!!

I wish my store would let that work but they never would. I think some do but my store says for example with the free coke zero coupon that I would not be able to use any coupons for the ball park or sara lee for that set. They say the one coupon covers all 4 items. :frown:I don't like it but I actually agree with them.

For $10.66 I got
4 jello puddings
3 jet puff marshmallows
1 free 4lb bag sugar
2 wheat thins
2 BBQ sauce
2 Kraft dressings
20 koolaids
2 crystal lights
6 4pks pudding packs
2 cheese singles
2 beef franks
2 bags kraft shredded cheese
That was one trip...
Second trip for $11.67 I got
3 bags marshmallows
1 free sugar
20 koolaids
2 wheat thins
2 bbq sauces
2 ranch dressings
2 crystal lights
5 4pks of pudding
2 cheese singles
2 beef franks
2 bags shredded cheese
I should have saved $3.00 from that order but the CS lady said that I got pink lemonade crystal light instead of regular lemonade crystal light and therefore I couldn't get the $3.00 for that transaction. WHATEVER. I wish I would have brought the ad with me and showed her where it said, Selected varieties. Anyhow, she is the one who said I couldn't use 20 coupons either, so I only did 10 at two stores.
I am sooo glad I saw this thread. I do wish I would have stayed home just a little longer and read those last few posts. I could have saved even more.

Okay - 6 crystal lights, 3 hot dogs
6 crystal lights = $20
3 hot dogs = $7.50
1 on the go salad dressings = $2.50
= $30 total
-$20 free crystal lights
-$7.50 free hot dogs
-$1 $1/on the go Q's
-$9 instant savings
= $7.50 overage
- $8.00 for 40 koolaids and two bags of sugar (which you only need to do 20 to fulfill your required kraft purchases, and get one bag of sugar)
= .50 OOP And you'll get a $2 cat when you're done.
(Or, if you only got 20 koolaids and one bag of sugar, at $4, you'd have $3.50 overage leftover to play with, but you wouldn't get the cat.)

Rang up again and after all q's were used I had a balance of $3.40. It only took $6 off Kraft instant savings. took receipt to customer service and she said you have to buy $10 within each category(10 for $10, 3 for $10). I was too tired to argue so I left. I used a total of 48 of the Free WYB, and 2 Planters IPs, along with 4 jello singles, 4 cool whip, 4 ritz, 1 free honey bunches, 5 rice pudding, and 5 dark chocolate pudding coupons. I didn't save my spreadsheet; I only have the the print out that I took to the store with me. That's so not true - it's not within the same groups that you have to reach the $10...but I'm glad you still came out ahead! There must have been something you grabbed that they hadn't tied to the promo in the computer, or something.

Those are the items at the top of the promo page - they're originally on sale for $1 each, and if you buy $10 worth of participating items to get the $3 instant savings, they're .70 each. (Marshmallows, taco bell sauce, bbq sauce, etc) HTH

After 350 items the computer locks up and says "too many items purchased"! I was trying to spend $50 after coupons so I could use a $10/$50 and the whole system crashes and NOTHING can be done except pay and start a new transaction! There were atleast 15 employees standing around watching the general manager try to figure it all out! The GM said that the only time that he ever saw the computer say that is when the fire department was doing a food drive! :hysterical:
This is what I got:

7 - kraft cheese - B3G1 All you
7 - OM hotdogs - B3G1 All you
6 - kraft salad dressings - B3G1 All you

20 - packets koolaid - no q
1 - 4lb sugar - free with koolaid
23 - kens salad dressing - $2/1 insert
7 - kens salad spritzers - $2/1 insert
52 - nabisco mini cookie cups - .75/2 insert
3 - bag salad mix - $1/1 out of a coupon box at Safeway
2 - gal. milk - full price!!!
1 - canester koolaid - no q / qualifier for koolaid cat
1 - fruit loops cereal - free with 2 gal milk
6 - pizza rolls - rain check 10 for $10 and .35/1 insert

After 350 items the computer locks up and says "too many items purchased"! I was trying to spend $50 after coupons so I could use a $10/$50 and the whole system crashes and NOTHING can be done except pay and start a new transaction! There were atleast 15 employees standing around watching the general manager try to figure it all out! The GM said that the only time that he ever saw the computer say that is when the fire department was doing a food drive! :hysterical:

Good to know. I don't think I am even going to try to use the $10/$50 at albertsons this week. I have too much overage from all the kraft stuff to use up first.

Great job and thanks for the tip on 350 items. I'm surprised Superbob hasn't come across that fact yet ;)
BTW, is there a deal on the nabisco cookie cups that I'm missing???

HOly hawk eye you guys are awesome!! What in the world, I don't have ANY q's right now. I'm going to try and buy some ALL YOU mag's today at Wal-mart, so I think I get the Kraft purchases, but where is everyone getting the HOB Q? My IP one expired on the 22nd!
PLEASE PLEASE break down the q's that you used. Is it too late to get any of these now (except the ALL YOU Kraft ones, but those can't be the majority of them, can they?)

It was the August issue of All You. I went to the Wal on Thursday and I caught the guy pulling them off the shelves. I managed to snag 3 (wish I would have got more, I didn't realize the implications of all of this!!) So, if you do find them, please let me know. I still need to get my free TP, so I will be doing another run before Wednesday.
Oh, and with my three sets of coupons, 40 kool aids, the easy mac printables, some cereal coupons and some in store coupons I spent about $50 and saved $161. The two extra deals were buy 2 tostitos chips and get a dip free and save $4 WYB hamburger patties (which were B1G1) fresh express salad mix, sara lee buns and albies cheese slices. Oh, I also bought some canned fruit that was on sale, no coupon on those. :(

OK, so 350 items or so is not for the under-the-radar types. Anybody tried using the Walgreens $10/$40 Q?

For the nabisco cookie cups I used the .75/2 nabisco cookies or crackers. We have over 200 koolaids so I wanted to get something else that also qualified for the Kraft frees.
They have figured out the overage thing at my Albies. They did not give me the coupon value BEFORE the kraft $3 was taken off. For example, the kraft singles are 3.33 or 3/$10 but they only gave me 2.33 off for the B3G1 coupon. So the price of the item AFTER the kraft $3 comes off. My total for the transaction was 41.XX but I ended up paying the 61.XX and I was not about to argue with them. :shrug7: I could have but I was trying to pick my battles and 61.XX is still very good!

I Got $30.00 but the post below said buy 5 to go salad dressings
6 crystal lights
3 hot dogs
5 to go salad drissings?
but the salad drissing would only be .75 cents with my coupon's right ?
my head hurts now LOL This is to confusing for me ... :(
and what if I use 5 $1.00 off to go salad dressing and a saffeway doubke to confuse me even more that would mean bigger overage right? I got it now I think LOL
Thanks for the help nate&natsmommy
Went last night and bought everything just as you said. After the cashier rang up everything and I gave him the q's, he was so confused he voided everything and started over. Rang up again and after all q's were used I had a balance of $3.40. It only took $6 off Kraft instant savings. took receipt to customer service and she said you have to buy $10 within each category(10 for $10, 3 for $10). I was too tired to argue so I left. When I got home I realized that I had got TWO $2 catalinas(one from the voided trans), so in the end I still came out ahead!
I am going to do this tomorrow. I just got my mags! :giggle2:
On the free Q's , does it matter how they ring them up could it effect the outcome of the Kraft Instant Savings? Did that Question make sense.

That is so lame of them! They will get the full value back so why not give it to the customer! I am so sorry you had to pay that much. My stockers look for Q's for me to use. I tell them which cats to look for and sometimes what is coming up. They are so happy with deals like this cause the Mfg pays us all to shop and their bottom line goes up. They are awesome!
I just did two orders. Total savings were around $465ish. I paid a couple bucks, got two $4 OYNO and about 6 $1 cats from Kraft. They were from the first order and it was all Wheat Thins and 3 Crystal Light. In the end, I am about $13 ahead, plus got:
4 gals of milk
2 free Raisin Bran
3# of mark down cheese
3 paks of smokies
2# of crab salad
and 4 paks of M&M's. I had to keep throwing them on to make it a positive balance.
I got 24 Wheat Thins
24 Dogs
11 Crystal light
7 dressing
some Kraft Singles
6 Olive Oil Mayo
1 KoolAid Single
10 free sugar
the koolAid
All the clerks were cheering me on and a lot of customers in other lines too. It was such a great high! I love my Albies and their employees! Even the clerk who hates Q's said she wanted to shop with me. There were two young ones just learning who bagged for me and checked me out. They were in total awe.
Thanks to all of you here who keeps us apprised of waz up with sales and Q's.

Wow, MISS!!! You did really good! I am still learning and just started couponing in Oct 2007. My Albies is really nice to couponers and they think that free is great but they do NOT do overage. You win some you lose some.:shrug7:
I also updated my post with my Albies trip to include the q's that I used.

Thanks! If we hadn't come home from our trip sooner than expected and if I hadn't found a bunch of those Q;s in CA, I would be pouting right now. Hang in there, you'll get your coupon stockpile and get it figured out soon. You'll be thinking you're low on something when you only have ten left, lol.

I've waited until the last day, but w/my disability, it's come to that...anyway, I was hoping someone w/a clearer head (I'm so confused...) could help get my scenario in order.
I didn't get the back page you all speak of, with the sugar thing, because my local albies is doing remodeling, and they have a special one, but it's on the online ad for the store I go to (burien)
My store will special order the qty for me. ;)
Also...If I scan my coupons BEFORE putting in my card, it gives me overage, as long as the regular price is higher than the coupon (powerade .69c..used 1/1 q's)
I've got:
66) hotdog
14) wheat thins
9) planters
7) dressing
I also have
2) 2/1 kens dressing
2) 2/1 kens spritzers
3) b10g5f powerade
15) 1/1 powerade
I also have 314 mom to mom q's that I'm hoping they'll let me special order that many travel size BB brand wipes. :) worth a shot!! lol
If anyone can give me a "shopping list" of sorts, i'd greatly appreciate it. DH will most likely take me in the afternoon. We'll probably get up around 1-2, considering it's 2 am and ds2 is not asleep yet...
TIA!!

Ok so funny story, or at least I think its funny! :giggle2:
I finaly am mobile after breaking some toes and my foot recently. I got to Walmart to get some of the ALL YOUS only knowing there was good Q's not knowing the extent of the whole deal :hysterical:!
I grabbed 10, then thought no I better only get 6 as I dont think I will need 10. Plus with my recent medical bills we are of course cutting everywhere so only getting what I know I can use and stock pile somethings. So anyways I just tossed 4 back into a magazine rack in the isle and checked out. (Not in the right spot) So I get home go do the deal and DH is like um if you only spent .42 on all that do it again! :BigHand: AND AGAIN AND AGAIN! So I go back to get more magazines and they are gone all gone. :frown: But wait I remember putting some back in a odd spot, I go look and there are the 4 I stashed the other day :giggle2::BigHand::whistle: I really would of loved to get more but 4 are better than none!
ANYWAYS had to share, on to my question..........
I have done this deal 7 times already and gave my mom a set of things and have 5-6 more of everything else....so I have 3 more coupon sets left and thought I would hold on to them, what are the odds of a Kraft deal coming around again before they expire?:shrug7: THOUGHTS?
Or should I just go use them up. I have enought of everything of course for awhile so no rush in getting more Cheese! :giggle2: Just thought I would put them away for a rainy day or is this deal to good to pass up and should I use them all now!!!!!!??????????????????
Thanks!
nateNnatsmommy

I would use them all now. This deal took about 2 months to come back from the last time, and considering that the summer is almost over, I wouldn't consider it likely to see it again anytime soon. Not a gamble I would take.

What were the 6 $1 Kraft cats from?
I wish I knew for sure. That order entailed 24 wheat thins and 3 crystal light. I was totally shocked when they started printing. All I can figure is that they were from the wheat thins but it has never happened before. Really, I have no idea. They printed before the $4 KoolAid cat. Maybe they were a welcome back thing, lol. I only saw one Albertsons on my whole trip and that was in Vancouver, WA. Go figure.

I bet they were from the olive oil mayo. There were 6 of those and it is a new product, so likely to be promoted.

That makes sense but based on when they printed, I don't think so. It was on the first order and before the KA cat. That order only had KA, Wheat Thins and 3 Crystal light. Maybe someone else can try the Olive Oil Mayo if they have some Q;s.

I think it was the olive oil because my friend got two-and had bought two olive oil mayo's but nothing else from her order.
She was also supposed to get the kool aid cat but thought just getting $2.00 back instead of 4.00 was still pretty good.

Oh that would have been so much fun! I was only there a few days. Hubby was doing the TV for the LPGA tourney but he kept me running for different shirts and pants and nothing was good enough so had to be returned. I was supposed to be shopping anyway, right? lol But, it would have been so nice to talk to another HCW'er! My SIL is there so I will pm you and next time, we'll make it happen.
First day back to school today so I'll do this later.
