I just got back from Albies and my coupons tripled up to $1. .25 became .75, .35 became $1, .75 became $1 and so on. The cashier said it was until 9/2. She did not know if it was all Albies or just the Longmont, CO store. So call first. Please post any good deals you find.

Wow, never heard of our Albies doubling or tripling before. That would be cool. I should check it out. Thanks.

There was an ad in the newspaper on Friday, front section that mentioned doubles/triples so it is good for all Albies.

OK, for the Springs area, I called the A Bluffs store and the wonderful child that answered informed me that, "No, Albertsons Never Triples coupons" so I told her to go ask the manager....She came back and said they do sometimes triple, but are not doing that right now.
So I called 2 other stores (Union and one down south) they both said they are doing triples until 9/2. I call the A Bluffs store back (they are so much closer to me) and got the same girl and told her that all the other Albertsons in town are doing triples, so why is this store different? To that she went to talk to the manager again and finally came back and told me the manager said the triples start next sale week, so Weds 8/27 till 9/2.
I did call the other stores back again and they said they are doing it right now. SO looks like I will have to go out of my way this week if I want to get any of this weeks deals with the coupons. I just wish Albertsons would get their act together and get on the same page.
I called corporate once to suggest they double coupons like Safeway and Kings does. I was told they would take my suggestion, but that their prices are better than those stores and they have more 10 for $10 items. Thats why they dont offer double coupons, and if they did, they would have to raise prices. She said it would be better for everyone to get lower prices than just some people getting good deals with coupons! I told her Albertsons prices were not lower than Kings or Safeway, and they have just as many 10 for $10 items. All I know is Albertsons keep closing stores and they are slow most of the time I shop there, Kings and Safeway keep opening new stores and are always packed.

I am sure the computer at the store closest to you will do the double/triple coupons. This was advertised for all Albertsons in the Denver area.

Yes, you are right. I went there yesterday with a challenge butter RC & a handful of coupons. It tripled it automatically. I guess the manager there doesnt even know what his own registers are doing!

So it is in this weeks ad- triples up to $1 and doubles up to $1. Only 3 like coupons allowed I believe. So lets come up with some scenarios, shall we?

or $1- $.30 coupon tripled = $.10 each
$.50/1 French's IP link here: www.frenchs.com (http://www.frenchs.com) (1 print per computer)
$.30/1 French's any mustard 6/22/08 SS exp 8/31/08 (you might have gotten a higher value one $.50 or $1)

Nursery Water 10/$10 - $.55/2 doubled = $1 for 2 (not free but cheap)
$.55/2 Nursery water IP link here: www.nurserywater.com (http://www.nurserywater.com)
Other noninsert nursery water coupons available $.55/2

Hershey's candy bars ?? - $.50/2 tearpad doubled = Free candy bars
-- Thanks greenfrog57 for the scenario

Suddenly Salad 10/$10 - $.40/1 tripled = FREE
Link here: www.bettycrocker.com (http://www.bettycrocker.com)
-- Thanks greenfrog57 for the scenario

Softsoap BOGO up to $1.99 - $.35 tripled = $.99 for 2 or
BOGO up to $1.99 - $.35 tripled and - $.35 tripled = FREE (not sure if Albertsons allows 2 coupons on BOGO's)

What else?

Other ideas but need price checks on the items first:
Viva and Scotts single roll Paper towels with the $.50/1 coupons doubled= $1 off.
Kleenex $.50/1 coupons doubled = $1 off
Kraft Mayo $.50/1 coupon doubled = $1 off
Daisy sourcream $.45/1 coupon tripled = $1 off
$.55/1 Kraft grated cheese doubled = $1 off
$.35/1 Jif peanut butter tripled = $1 off
$.55/1 Hillshire farm lunchmeat doubled = $1 off
$.60/1 Luzianne tea doubled = $1 off
$.50/1 or 2 Crystal light doubled = $1 off 1 or 2
Probably gum and mints free if you have coupons.

Need more scenarios. Who has some? Lets get some great deals. Our Albertsons never doubles or triples so this is a treat.

Softsoap
BOGO up to $1.99 - $.35 tripled and - $.35 tripled = 2 FREE
This did work no problems.

$2 for large size Daisy sourcream - $.45/1 coupon tripled = $1 for large sourcream (fair price)

$.99 Hillshire farm lunchmeats - $.55/1 Hillshire farm lunchmeat doubled = Free lunch meat

SOBE life water 10/$10 - $.50 peelie doubled = Free Sobe life water

Here is what worked above. Couldn't find any Hershey's on sale to work for Free candy bars. Sorry. Prices too high on Kleenex, Viva and Scotts paper towels, and the others. But Sobe and Hillshire farms free. Yea in addition to the others.

The Hershey's single size bars are 50¢ each by the registers. So 50¢/2 tearpad q (x 8/31) = 2 free bars.

The Mentos gum is 99¢. So, 55¢/1 insert q (x 8/31) = free gum

I also got Heartland pasta with 55¢/1 q's that were printed from the internet a while back(12/31x) for 25¢ each with doubles.
