MOD NOTE: For updated info check here (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/meijer/325847-meijer-faqs.html)!

This will continue to be a work in progress. If there is anything you would like see added here, just ask. See something erroneous? PLMK.

Q: Is a store card needed?
A: No, the sales prices ring up automatically.

Q: Can I get my ad online?
A: Yes, follow this link and enter your zip: Meijer: Store Locator (http://www.meijer.com/custserv/store_locator.jsp)

Q: Does Meijer double coupons?
A: Only in select areas. Check with your store’s customer service desk to find their coupon policy.

Q: Does Meijer take competitor coupons, or price match?
A: Uncertain. Check with your store's customer service desk to find out their policy.

Q: May I use two coupons for a BOGO sale?
A: Yes, you are able to use a Meijer coupon along with a manufacturer coupon for each item purchased (BOGO would be the
purchase of 2 items) unless either of the coupons have a restriction printed on them. THIS IS HIGHLY YMMV.

This is the email I received when asking whether they accept internet printables.

Thank you for writing and asking about internet coupons.

Meijer does accept all legitimate internet coupons.
Coupons that are more likely to be rejected include computer printed coupons for free products, and coupons that do not have a UPC code.

If you have specific questions about whether or not an internet coupon is accepted please bring your actual "internet coupon" into the store and we can review it at the cashier lane or the Customer Service desk. Our Customer Service Desk is open from 7:00AM to 11:00PM daily.

Thanks again for writing, and for visiting the site.

Hi! I am new here and I have a couple of questions.

1 - I am a little confused with this -

Can I use 2 Manufacture coupons on a BOGO sale or is it only a Manufacturer and a Maijer coupon?

2 - Can I use a BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale at Meijers?

Thanks!

:wavehi: Hi and welcome to the Meijer forum.. wow I guess that is a little confusing isn't it? :giggle2:

This is always going to be a YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) situation, not all stores or cashiers are going to let you use two coupons on a BOGO sale. If the item is on sale BOGO you most likely will only be able to use one coupon on the one you are actually paying for. If you have a BOGO coupon you would be able to use that plus another $/1 coupon together. Lately most Meijer coupons state they are not to be combined with other coupons so make sure you check that.
Yes.. (also ymmv) you can use a BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale to get both items free.
Hope this helped.. and I didn't confuse you further..lol. If you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask

I have a question about the $ off your next order coupons. Can you use unlimited amounts of these and do they have to be 1 per item?? I have a lot of the $4 ones is why I'm asking

The ones I have say one per order.. so you wouldn't be able to use multiples..mine are $1 off .. so you'll have to check yours... sorry I couldn't be of more help...:hectic1:

Meijer also does free prenatal vitamins. I only saw the link to the antibiotics so just letting everyone know. Just ask for the list of qualifying vitamins at the pharmacy and then take that to your next doctor's visit for them to write you a prescription.

Also, does anyone know Meijer's policy if an item rings up at the wrong price? Do you get the item free, double the money back, anything along those lines?

Thanks, I forgot about the vitamins... I'll get a link up to that too if I can find one..

If an item rings up wrong... is not on sale.. and is marked with the correct price then the Michigan Bounty Law goes into effect. You get the difference plus 10 times the difference up to a maximum of $5.00.

What time do the new week's sales go into effect, specifically in Cincinnati? I've always wondered if I could go at midnight on Saturday of a really good sale week and get the prices before they run out the next day, or if I'd have to wait until 6 AM or some time early Sunday morning.

The sales usually go into effect at 6 AM the first morning of the sale..

I double checked the ad online bc I was wondering about this tonight, it says:
Prices Good 6 a.m. Sunday, February 8 thru Saturday, February 14, 2009

But I do believe that I've noticed that the 3 or 4 day sales usually start at midnight, not 6.

Is it possible that my store doesn't start the sales until Thursday? I just moved to the Chicago suburbs (from an area with no Meijer), and as far as I can tell we still have last week's sales going on. I know all the grocery stores around here run Thur-Wed sales. Is it possible that Meijer does this too?

Yep it sure is.. some of them do run Thurs-Wed.. I try and leave the ad up for all the stores that run that way.. ;)

Has Meijer ever told you they only accept 4 identical q's in one order?

Mom and I pooled the $1.25/1 Pillsbury simply... cookie dough q's we got from Pssst... so we had 10 total. I bought 10 packages of cookie dough that were $2 each. When I scanned the first q at self-check, it said it needed approval. The lady came over, and when I said I had 10 she didn't just start scanning them, but rather took them to the self-supervisor lady. She first asked if I photocopied them. THEN she swore they were IP and I said IP never look like that to which she argued. She tried calling management or something and no one would answer her call or page, so she finally said she would let me do them. Told other cashier lady to do them for me. But while scanning them she was all "They only let us do four on one order, or else it comes out of our paycheck when they find out" "I shouldn't have to override all of them" "i'm not arguing with you, I'll do it" "I got written up last time I did this, but I'll do it" and when I insisted there is no way they'd come figure out I had 10 at once she said "oh yes, they'll check" ARGH. What a CRAZY trip. This is why I haven't even set foot in Meijer for well over a year and why a good deal will not tempt me again!!! Thank goodness my $5 cat for spending $20 came out or I would have really lost it.

Anyone heard the "4 identical q" rule? No point to complain in my eyes, as in the past they have never cared at store or corp level which is why mom and I don't shop there on principle.

Wow! She was quite inventive in the excuse department.. LOL. I've never been told that other than stores that have limits on double coupons... no it does not come out of their paycheck..:rolleyes24: and they don't count how many coupons and match them to the transaction.. the coupons go in a bag and that's it... there's no counting or checking going on!

I would speak to the Store Director next time you are there.. or call them.. but they do have the right to limit in their store.. :hectic1: which makes me crazy that there isn't a corporate rule that they all have to stick to!

Sorry this happened... glad she took them anyway.. even though she had to pay! :giggle2:
