I thought we should make a thread just for the Meijer Mealbox questions. This will be a work in progress... If you see something that needs to be changed or find something new PLMK and we'll add it in. :smile:

Where do I get Mealbox coupons?

Use this link: Meijer Mealbox (http://www3.meijer.com/mealbox/mealbox.html) click on the little tab marked "Specials" then "Coupons".


Are the coupons always the same?

No. Some will stay for a few weeks at a time, others are changed week to week.

Can I use them on sale items?

Yes, these can be used with sale prices.


Can they be combined with other coupons?

They can be combined with manufacturer coupons, but not with other Meijer coupons.


How many can I use at a time?

The "One Per Transaction" wording has been removed.. but like always.. YMMV depending on the store.


My store doubles, will they double these?

As far as I know, Mealbox coupons do not double.

Please make sure you are reading the coupon and using it for the correct item ! If it says Family Size.. it must be used on Family Size.

Any posts discussing the use of these coupons in any other way than intended will be deleted and given a warning/infraction.

When I print the mealbox coupons off they look small to me and fake. Are they suppose to be this way? Also, do you print them off in b+w or color? Any help would be appreciated. I am getting very frustrated with the mealbox coupons and wanting to do all the great deals everyone talks about. Thanks.

They are small when you print them.. and do kinda look fakey.. lol, but that's how they turn out so I guess it's the way they made them. I print in color but I imagine they would work in B&W.. has anyone had experience with that??? HTH

I always do b&w. I started out doing them in fast draft but they don't scan well so I do normal now and hardly ever have trouble.

Thanks for the "fastdraft" comment. I had a problem with mine scanning the other day, and I bet that's why! Better print them better quality.

Learned something very interesting at Meijer yesterday ... the cashier told me I can type in the coupon code myself if it doesn't scan. Just push the key in code button on the screen (usually used for typing in vegetable codes) and type the entire number sequence on the coupon bar code. It worked like a charm.

The refridgerated jello-o q out right now for $1.50/2, can the 4 pk of Hunt's Snack Pack work for this? It doesn't state a size--just "ready to eat". If not, which type of jell-o/pudding is this coupon for?

Sorry, no it can't be used on the Hunt's... it's for the Jello cups in the dairy section. HTH

Ok i don't know if this is the right place to post this question or not but does anyone know the best way to print all the mealbox coupons besides doing them one at a time?


The easiest way I've found is once it is in the "shopping list" is to copy and paste them into word. Once in word, you can copy and paste as many of each coupon that you want. Plus, it doesn't cut the coupon in the middle like it did when printing from the mailbox area.:smile:

It doesn't specify a type.. so it should work on any 16 oz bottle.. :biggrin: Of course you may have to argue that point.. LOL

Can anyone answer my question about using more than one coupon? Can I use more than one mealbox coupon with a manufacturer's coupon. example, 5 mealbox coupons and 5 manufacturer's coupons together at the same time, I hate to make separate orders, will the mealbox cpns and manufactuer's coupons come off for this transaction? thanks.

You can now use them all at the same time. Mealbox used to say one per trans. The wording now says per purchase. I have used all of them at the same time for the last few weeks. Check the wording on your mealbox coupon. I did ask a cashier before I checked out to see if I could use all of them.

It's against Meijer policy to use expired coupons. That being said, I've never tried to use one... but since it's a Meijer coupon and possibly tied into their system somehow.. I would say yes, it will beep if you were to use it.

Did anyone else notice how huge the barcode is? I just printed three of the Skippy MMBs and the barcode is half the coupon!!

I'm hoping the barcode is bigger to PREVENT scanning issues. Guess we'll find out tomorrow....

Agreed! I meant to come back and post. Those Skippy coupons went through like a dream! I still needed cashier intervention, which was fine since the $$ actually deducted from my total. Good enough for me!

I missed out using some of the newer MB coups...I checked the HCW printer only and the new coups hadn't been added yet.

When can I expect that the newer MB coups are added to the HCW printer?

It may not be added yet. You'll have to print it from the Meijer website.
