12-07-2006, 05:34:25 PM
Nice job! What an interesting rule about doubling to half your order. Does that mean they will only let you use coupons to take off half of your pre-coupon price???
12-07-2006, 05:42:27 PM
It means they will only double coupons until you get to half the price of your order. So if your order before coupons came to $100, they will double until you get to $50 and then coupons are at face value.
I hate it personally :)
12-08-2006, 02:44:52 PM
Took an unexpected trip to Rite Aid today for decongestant for my husband who has an inner ear infection. Sudafed $7.99 - $1.00 c/o - $2.00 SCR = $4.99 which is $1 cheaper than the generic.

Used a $10 ECB & oop was $1.19
I'm kind of bummed that I couldn't roll it over but I didn't want it to expire so I used it for things I needed.

12-22-2007, 05:58:33 PM
4 Halls Naturals cough drops 1.39 each with WAG coupon.
I used a $1/2 mfg q & two B1G1 q's. Somehow they gave me .02 cents. I have no idea how but the manager was being very unpleasant so I just wanted to leave.
They would not let me use a $1 Loreal Studio Line q on the .75c hair spray because the item was less than the q. I don't know why not as CVS does it all the time but... such is life. At least I got the cough drops.

That said I am very annoyed at Shaws. They did not have the Fuze drinks, Yo-Plus yogurt or HC micro soup bowls. I was planning on getting those which would have made my total about $1.00 less. I can't get a raincheck because they aren't going to carry them.
Also, my $10 oyno did not print out at the register even though I bought the required items. The assistant manager argued with me about it! First she told me it was because I used coupons even though nowhere on the ad or the circular does it say the $20 you had to spend was after coupons. THEN once I got her to admit it wasn't, she wanted to put the $10 back on my foodstamp card. I told her it was supposed to be $10 on my next order. She said no it wasn't and argued with me until I pointed out the big yellow sign near the circulars that said it was a $10 catalina on your next order.
Shaws is really one of my least favorite stores but my choices are limited :I
