I posted about this in another thread and pictures were requested. Here are two that I have right now. The one on the left is an Apple Cinnamon, and it is decorated for Christmas. The one on the right is a Strawberry scented candle, and it is for one of my best friends who is doing a Pink and Silver Christmas theme this year, so it has a pink and silver Poinsettia on it. (Yes, I know pink and silver is a little strange for Christmas but she's a complete girly girl and loves pink. The funny thing is she's an attorney-- we joke that Legally Blonde was inspired by her!)
I don't have a photo of the one I did at Thanksgiving because I gave it to my mom. I am making one with seashells this weekend for my Aunt with one of the 2 in 1 candles, so I will post pics of that when it is finished!!
ETA: You can use the empty containers too! Once the candle has burned down you can decorate the outside any way you'd like and then just put a votive or tealight inside of the holder.

These would certainly make a nice gift or addition to a basket. Nice job.

Thanks for this idea. Would you mind giving me more info or the link about exactly how you decorated it/what you put on it and where you got it? (I can see ribbons and a little bell but I don't know where to get that stuff for cheap.)

My mom and I have been doing these for a fundraiser bazaar coming up! We glued down most of the things. It's been fun. Will try to post pics later. I knew it had to have occurred to others to do this decorating thing... considering HCW is a crafty group that knows how to make slippers out of Kotex! lol

those are so cute. We've had a mauve and silver tree on and off for as long as I can recall. Mauve is my mom's favorite color and I adore Victorian era stuff so it worked well for us.
