This promo appears to be similiar to the Kroger gas promo with a few variations

Spend $100 in accrued spending and get .10 off per fuel up, up to $100 in savings.

Earn .10 with 2 new priscriptions, transfers or refills(does not count $ value of refill just physical count)

You can choose not to use your savings at the pump and they will accumulate until you choose to use them. IE you have 3 discounts and choose no for the first two fill ups, on the third fill up you say yes, thus .30 off per gallon.

You cannot get cash back so if you have earned $3 worth and gas is $2.90, your gas will be free, but you will forfeit the other .10 per gallon.

These reset every quarter, so earnings NOW will be valid until 9-30-08 or until they terminate program

Lastly, the promo is based on PRE manuf. coupon price but post randalls card and coupon savings. I tested it at lunch and used bought the following

1 Propel for $1

1 veggie can @ .59

Used .50 coupon for Propel and .59 Randalls coupon for veggie, paid $0 and earned $1 toward my $100 requirements.

Thanks! I was curious to know if coupons affected the total. Knew Kroger's total is pre coupon total. Glad to hear this is too! Sweet!

but. . . it used to be save 10 cents for every $50 dollars you spend. this doesn't seem to be good news. :(

This is good news because the old way, you had to spend $50 IN ONE transaction which I was rarely able to do.

you would give me your phone number so I can use your gas discount, lol :hysterical:

actually I am not sure how it would work. you should check with the store to get more information

You should still be able to earn rewards at non-gas station stores. You would just have to find a gas station store to use the discount. The stores I normally shop do not have gas, have to go to the ghetto store for that.

If you live in Galveston County, the Randall's on Marina Bay doesn't have a gas station, but if you happen to be on the island for any reason, the Randall's there does have a gas station, so fill up the next time you go to the beach!

Same here! It's hard to find a Randalls to begin with if you are just out and about and don't know the area! Finding one with Gas is a shot in the dark.

The totals don't add up by $0.10 to become a dollar amount. It discounts a number of gallons. So for each $100, you get 1 gallon with 10c discount. With the next $100, you now can get 2 gallons with 10c discount. So you have to buy 2 gallons to use up you reward, instead of $0.20 off 1 gallon.

The way the manager explained it to me is that you get .10 off per gallon for your whole fillup with an accumulated $100 in purchases. If you don't use it by the time you have $200 in purchases, you get .20 off per gallon for the whole fillup. It is not just for 1 or 2 gallons that you get the discount.

He also said there are gift cards that work like cash that you can buy towards the total needed, so stock up and pay for your groceries with that!

I've already told my husband that we will both have to be at the gas station at the same time so we can both fillup on the same transaction when we're on fumes to get the most savings!!:hysterical:

Maybe even my son will want to get in on this coordinated pump shuffle!!!
