I think your article finally cemented this as being real in the minds of my inlaws and family who just have never seemed to understand how or why we would "waste" time on this site, let alone the personal coupon shopping we do. And I'm like, "duh, it helps me and it has helped vast numbers of women (and a few guys) who are trying to make an impact in their families lives. So it's worth hanging out online to keep things running smoothly.

Good thing the new site layout will be up by then!

My DH just had an argument at work with someone over Crissy's article last night! He was defending HCW big time because the guy was saying he thought it was all made up! I was so proud of my DH, especially since he knew exactly what the guy was talking about when he said "that coupon woman in the NE!" He does listen when I talk it seems! LOL!

That was me. my friend said on friday we are clipping coupons. sunday we get the paper and monday we read the article. so here I am. all of great info here @ hcw. after 2 weeks i think i'm more into the coupon thing then she is. I always looking for the deals.

Debbie, welcome to the site. There are coupons you can print in from under the "coupon resources" tab on the site. You can also start collecting inserts from sunday papers - getting your non-couponing friends to help you out with them by giving you theirs. Lastly, keep your eyes peeled for them as you shop - their hidden from most people's radars but a good couponer hunts them out.

And then you can trade for the ones you're looking for specifically here with others who might have them.

i tried to print the coupons, it said to uncheck the box in the printer settings when i do it doesn't work and when i go back to setting somehow it rechecked it self again i did it about 5 times it still wont work any suggestions? ;(

Do not be afraid to try new things! IMO some of the best coupons are for new products or familiar products w/ a twist or revamped in new packaging/name changed. HTHs
