I received a packet with a flier (w/coupons) from the Meridian store (20 East Fairview), seems they are having a grand opening sale ONE DAY today.
I just about fell off of my chair when I took a second look at the flier, says "Coke/Pepsi 12 packs 'First 2' $1.99" Please please please tell me that means I can buy those two @ $1.99 and get 3 free? I'm still pretty new to couponing so some of you veterans...please tell me I am interpreting that right? And if so can I use 2 $1/2 coke 12 packs peelies making it $2 for 5 12 packs?

Oh, and w/ permission I'll post a scan of the flier (there aren't any coupons on it).

PS--I think the Coke deal would work, unless there's fine print about not combining with other offers. Usually the stores seem to be programemd with both their own specials and the regional ones, so I really, really think it'd work. And it's a sale based on quantity not price, so I do think it'd work. I got a ton of Coke at a recent Walgreens opening that overlapped with a regional catalina, otherwise I'd go try it, too.

As for the Coke sale, I would think that the two deals would overlap, but probably just at that store. If they don't, I would try taking both flyers (the one for this week and the grand opening one) to CS and argue your case. Good luck!

well, I just got back from the store and it was a ZOO. The lines were extended all the way through the isles to the back of the store with every check stand open. There were ppl fighting over bread and soda and some lady stole all the good kraft pasta salad peelies and was leaving right as I got there with a whole purse full...I just wanted a few :beg4:

I talked to the mgr there and they changed the limit of 2 to a limit of 5 and weren't honoring the ad and the flier so I got 5 for $8 with my 2 peelies. I'm calling corp. I'll post the scan of the ad in a sec, as soon as I get my little monster down for his nap.
I can't believe they didn't honor both *sigh*
